This was by far my best experience with any childcare facility. Teachers are loving and nice. We didnt have any issue or concerns. I would highly recommend this facility to Anyone!!!

A wonderful place to enroll your children. Super friendly staff and teachers. I love that they offer lunch to every child and encourage them to try new things.

Absolutely love this daycare! Love the environment and love the ladies who work there; they all treat my kiddos as family and as if they were their own. My boys absolutely love Miss Shannon and Miss Tracey; my 3 year old and 1 year old both make it a priority to give their hugs and kisses goodbye to both every single day! Miss Tracey has such a kind heart and Miss Shannon is one of the sweetest you’ll meet there!!! 🤗

I love the staff. From the front desk to my kids teachers. I have an infant and a 3 year old here and I have no complaints!!!!

Barrington Academy is not all bad. Some of the staff is super nice! Like Ms Wanda who is in the front. She has a nice personality and its always pleasant. My daughter attends the before and after school care for kids. The afternoon lady Shannon is a total pain. She has her picks and choices of who she will speak to and interact with. I personally dont get a hello or have a nice day. Unacceptable when she is the first point of contact walking through the door. My daughter seems to love Barrington overall. I would say see for yourself. Your experience may be different than mines.

I have worked here for 21 years and i love it. The children are the future and it makes me feel good to teach them and love them. Theres no other place i want to work.

Transitioning my grandson to living with us has not been as hard as we thought. we enrolled him in daycare at Barrington and he now has a routine which barrington has been so wonderful at helping us with, from his good mornings from all the staff to his afternoon hugs and loves from Ms. Shannon. Thanks Ms. Shannon and staff for all the love and support.

We love Barrington!! The staff is friendly and genuinely care about the children. Our son loves his teachers and is having so much fun learning that on some days he doesnt want to leave the center. They have so many programs and are definitely more than just a daycare.

I am only giving 3 stars because its my granddaughters 2 week at barrington Academy. Well I must say from the door to the room...I am always greeted with courtesy - Mrs. Bernita is my granddaughters morning teacher...Shes kind....I think I get on her nerves because I call every few hours to check on her LOL - But, Mrs. Bernita is always willing to give me the info that I need - My granddaughter is 2 and is learning to be around other children....So I appreciate Mrs. Bernita and the other two young ladies in the afternoon patients - After a month, Ill come back and do another review.

My children have been coming here for 5 years and I’ve always had good experiences. The morning staff is always friendly and happy to see you and the kids, mrs. Teresa and Mrs. Wanda have the best personality’s and always sweet. The teachers are always great and my kids are well taken care of and learn a lot. The afternoon teachers are great also and Mrs. Shannon is always friendly enough, she likes to talk about her problems and the other staff. She was asking the parents to write a review for her, so I am but it’s a honest one. Not only is it unperfessional it’s immature!

I absolutely LOVE Barrington Academy.. As a Mom of active toddlers you want to be sure that your babies are safe, getting exercise and being productive, I have 110% confidence in Barrington and they have never disappointed me.. My boys come home to talk about their favorite teachers DAILY (Ms Wanda, Ms Marlene, Ms Jennifer and Ms Christy).. I am SO HAPPY with the progress Johnathan and Gabriel have made since joining Barrington... The staff are friendly, the environment is clean and theres SO MANY activities for the kids to enjoy..

Even though my baby attended for only a few months towards the end of last year, I really like to program offered for her age. She has special diet needs and some serious separation anxiety. The teachers were very patient, caring, and understanding, which helped her acclimate to change. When I had to withdraw her, they were gracious, accommodating and offered to keep her file, though inactive, until I returned. Ive evaluate other facilities lately, because she will rejoining the school scene. Of all reviewed, Ive decided to go back to Barrington. I really appreciate the flexibility with the attendance offerings and the willingness to accommodate her other needs. Great job Barrington.

Walking into the front doors, I was not so pleasantly greeted by a heavy sigh from Shannon. Followed up shortly with a cold personality, and bad attitude. The women crammed inside the small office behind the front desk appeared to be the type of women who enjoy gossip, and frequently experience feelings of inconvenience upon being asked to do their jobs. That assumption of mine was confirmed shortly after when I asked for a tour of the school. Shannon began looking around annoyed, confused, lost, and aggravated. Starting a sentence Well...uh... tours are between to which I quickly stated between 9 and 2 like I was told on the phone. (It was around 12:30 at the time of our arrival) Ive called this school twice now on separate occasions and both women I spoke to on the phone were huffing and puffing with nasty attitudes. I should have know right then and there and never bothered to visit! I cant even go into detail about the rest of this encounter. It makes me so very sad for the children that have to be in close proximity to these attitudes and learn to treat people this way. This school needs to clean house of every employee who acts like this. If you are not grateful for each day, for your job, and your income, leave. Especially working with children. This is highly unacceptable behavior. You are adults. Act like it.

I moved my 2 year old last month and it has been a night and day difference from how she acted at her old center. She is so much happier. She doesnt cry when I drop off or hang her head down in sadness like she did at her old school. I thought that was just typical behavior for a child when their parents leave them but she doesnt do that now. A month ago she wouldnt dare use the potty. She has now been in underwear for two whole weeks with only a couple of accidents! She talks about going to school on the weekends and gets excited about things like painting her nails because she is going to show her teacher. I am so glad that she is here and HAPPY!!

I have been a parent of Barrington students now for over three years. I have enjoyed the staff and how my children feel right at home every day for after care and for the summers. They have learned to swim and have met some great friends there as well. what i really appreciate is the secure feeling i get from the staff. From Theresa and from Shannon. Especially Shannon because i see her every day i pick up my kids. She not only let me know the status of my kids as soon as I come in the door she gives me a call as a heads up if anything has went wrong. her attention to all the students is remarkable. Her customer service is impeccable especially dealing with parents who approach her with attitude and distain due to whatever personal issue they may have going on. The way she deals with all the parents are amazing especially with dealing with children and staff all day long. I have nothing but the upmost respect for the staff of Barrington Academy.

I like the daycare overrall but they need a little bit more improvements with the teachers with communication and a little overpriced. I was paying $140 a week for a 2 year old and only got a daily sheet for th first week. i never seen the weekly meals online and my daughter was picky so they wouldnt tell me what she ate and what she didnt eat, they never told me the schedules for their potty training. I didnt really carefor or like my daughters teacher i think her name was Karen, the young caucasian girl, she acted real stand offish and funny when my daughter entered the classroom. I loved mrs. bernita though, i love how she embraced her as if that was her child. i mean i recommend if its convenient to home but i know there are other daycares that are cheaper that have better teachers. its not alll about how the centers look. ms. shannon that sits at the front in the afternooons can hae attitudes sometimes and everyones favorite of course, you can see evern in the previous reviews, is mrs. tereasa, she is ALWAYS pleasant no matter what! other than that its OKAY. nothing more than 3 stars.

Barrington Academy is an awesome school for your children to attend. I went here when I was about 9 10 years old and I loved it, my 4 year old Jayden has been attending here for about 1 year and she loves it. She has learned so much in just a little time. Ms. Tamika and Ms. Michelle are the best teachers for pre k!
