I have been very happy with Summer Start. They also have Creative Start on Division in Springfield; which is where I initiated business with them. I would recommend both. I have never had a problem with any of the staff. They have been very helpful and very reassuring to me. They call me and keep me informed of any incidents; which have in my opinion all been minor so far, but that reassures me that if anything major happened then I would definitely be informed. My child loves her teacher and requests them daily. I have noticed changes in staff, but I recognize most of the staff from over a year ago. As a parent my concerns have been: Is my child safe? Is my child being fed and cared for? Are the staff familiar with who my child is? Will the staff step up in bizarre circumstances like illness, injury, or something preventing me from arriving at the center to pick up my child like a car wreck? Can they handle custody issues between two separated parents? All of these things have been a YES. I feel very comfortable leaving my child in their care. I know when I went hunting for a day care facility, I checked online for reviews, and negative reviews killed several choices for me. I am so glad I found this day care. I would be very surprised if I could have gotten similar results else where.
