This school is a hazardous place. I had to pull my daughter from this place after she fell on the playground, and something went through her knee. I never received a call, nor John, his work place or the grandmother. Instead, I picked up my daughter who was pale as a ghost and a lot of blood running down her leg (this wasnt little drops or dried up, this was fresh like running water). They decided to put a band aid on it, which had to be changed numerous times after. She had an X-ray and the Dr. couldnt believe they didnt call me or 911. She was so fatigued from blood loss that she needed a few days to build strength again. All because the supposedly educated nurse and principal they have there said she was okay. No one would speak to me when I tried taking the X-rays of the protruding hole and results from the Dr. showing how much blood loss she had. The only thing left of that hole is a very large and swelled scar that reminds me to be careful where we put our children.Since then I have another little girl that I am getting ready for a transfer so I can start her at school somewhere else. I went in and of course they remember me. I did the transfer and thought it went smoothly, but it didnt. I got a call from a friend that said I needed to fix the transfer they did because they purposely put her for 1st grade so by the time I do fix it, she will be on hold for a spot and by that time there will be no room in the correct Kindergarten spot. She admitted she over-heard the principal and secretary giggling about it...... Seriously?!?! Sure enough, I called the public schools instead (I have no trust in Pittman) and they apologized and wondered how that mistake could even happen with the age and everything. So now its fixed, but I see not only lack of intelligence resides at Pittman but petty immaturity as well.

Ive read mostly all of the comments and my children have gone there, now my grandchildren in there. Ive NEVER had a problem with this school. You get what you put into life.And I dont agree with the that the kids are ALL mean. Reality is that there are mean kids EVERYWHERE.

The staff has been wonderful to my grandchild and myself. They genuinely care about the students. Which is a rarity these days.

This school sucks it is depressing and the kids are rude it’s really hard to find a kid that is nice to you.IT SUCKS NEVER SEND KIDS HERE

Principle doesnt seem to care about a concern that i had. Nor will she respond to me.
