I went to this school for about 7 years and this is what i can say about this. When I began my time here it was a wonderful place. I was learning above standards and I was enjoying it. But as I got older the school changed (I say it started when they changed the name). I feel like I wasnt learning anything and I was learning what the standards for the school were. When I went to the local public school I realized that I wasnt learning anything near what they taught me there. I learned way more at the public school and you pay near nothing to go there. The teachers were nice but they were just unprepared. If one kid wasnt understanding a thing the thing the teacher talked about, the whole class would put the brakes on even if they knew the subject. Their form of punishment is horrible. If you have a kid who hurt another kid they would just get a warning. After that they just get another warning. Another thing is that I never had a grade until I moved schools. I also never took a test until the switch too. I dont know, you can send you kid here if you want them to not learn anything and not make it hard. Or you can send them to the local public school and make them learn way more.

CinDay Academy has been such a blessing for our family. We have been here for 6 years. My children mostly home schooled before this, and the transition was smooth to come here. Our kids have found good friends, and their teachers invest in them inside and outside of school hours. My children are discovering their academic strengths, life interests, and learning styles. They are being challenged to learn at their level, regardless of their peer’s levels.

The website is deceiving and seems as if all kids are welcome. After a tour with the principal and informing her of our sons IEP, she was very understanding and shared some learning issues she faced as a student herself. We were under the impression there were other children on an IEP and his admission would not be a problem. We received an email stating our sons IEP could not be accommodated (which is in need of review and was stated so during the tour). Ok, fine. Upon being provided that information we asked if after his IEP is revised if we could then try applying again and received no response to the question, only that a refund is being processed. A simple yes or no to answer the question would have sufficed but I now question if his denial was based off of his IEP needs or if they simply didn’t want him (a biracial child) attending the school.

Our family moved to the area 6 years ago. We were not happy with the local public school system and quickly began a search for other educational opportunities for our children. We actually drove by the school one day while running errands, and decided to find out more. We set up a tour and meeting with the founder, and principal, Gina. As we walked and talked from building to building and observed the classes, it was clear that this was no ordinary school. There was no evidence of cookie cutter education, no kids staring blankly at a dry erase board, text book or computer screen. They were engaged in a multitude of activities, all revolving around the topic of study. The teachers were actively encouraging, instructing, and even playing with the kids. We were sold and excitedly enrolled our kids.Fast forward several years, and we could not be any happier with the experience. Our children are excited for school each day. They are encouraged to pursue their own interests, advance at their own pace, and are free to explore new topics. We, as parents, love to see how animated they are about a particular field trip coming up, an exciting science experiment, or a musical concert performance they have helped plan. The small class sizes allow a perfect balance of structure and freedom. The teachers are engaged and encouraging, the administration is approachable and clearly invested in our childrens education and development, not just as students, but as good people, friends and members of our community. We cannot say enough good things about this school. We absolutely love it and feel very blessed to have our children there!

We’ve been a part of the Academy family for 12 years. Our children started in preschool and moved into the middle school program. I can’t say enough good things about the Academy. Our children thrived in the small classrooms and hands-on learning. The themed-based curriculum makes learning fun. The teachers are hands down the best! You can tell they love what they do and can see their enthusiasm for learning.

The Academy has been such an amazing school for our family. Our kids are excited to wake up and go to school everyday and see their teachers. We have been there for 4 years and are so thankful that we have found this school. We can’t imagine sending them anywhere else. The staff truly cares about the children’s well-being and is concerned with helping them achieve their full potential. We love the small classroom sizes and the individualized learning. We have nothing but great things to say about this place!

We learned about The Academy through a friend when we were trying to find a Kindergarten for our daughter. The public school in our area had some safety issues, and barely met average test scores. The Academy was meant to be a 1-year solution as we figured out whether we wanted to find a new school district, or attempt to transfer schools within our district. That was 3 years ago, and now both of our children attend The Academy! Excellent teachers, excellent facilities, one-on-one learning, small classrooms, safe and loving environment, and test scores ranking the students far above grade-level. The Academy is a wonderful school, and we are so grateful to be a part of it!

We have three daughters who have completed three years at this school. The experience has been phenomenal for them. We reside in a community with an excellent school district, but chose this option for our children because we desire more for our kids than only excellent academics. The Academy provides both the academics to challenge our very smart daughters and the nurturing environment for their emotional growth.

Our son attended The CinDay Academy for his Senior year in high school. As parents, we couldnt feel prouder to have our son as The CinDay Academys first graduate. With unwavering commitment and leadership, the teachers at CinDay equipped him with the tools he needs for success in college and beyond. He has been accepted to a nationally recognized competitive private university, and is more than ready to excel as a college Freshman with twenty-first century advanced academic skill sets learned at CindDay Academy. The support and expertise our son received, not only, enabled him to graduate with a “top notch” education and strong critical thinking skills, but with the confidence, motivation and self-starting initiative that could have only been built with the exceptional learning opportunities and open doors for endless exploration that The CinDay Academy provided. We have treasured watching our son grow personally and academically, with fresh learning experiences. In addition to a strong academic program program, there is an abundance of extracurriculars like: the class trip to Washington D.C., the school play, job shadowing, community volunteer opportunites, class parties and field trips, like golfing and scuba diving, just to name a few.The question my husband and I are asking ourselves now at Scott’s graduation, is: How does one convey to others, a gratitude that is so great that it seems immeasurable?” In what otherwise, most likely, would have been a very disjointed and sobering conclusion to his high school education, your entire team worked together at an unprecedented level to give your first graduate a gift that could not be duplicated with a traditional education…………….the gift of the joy of learning. In conclusion, thank you once again, for allowing Scott to finish his high school education with a year that was truly extraordinary. It will have a life-long impact for Scott and will never be forgotten. We pray The CinDay academy continues to grow into a strong beacon of light for today’s youth that will continue to be cherished by the Springboro community for years to come.
