Ive gotten to know the teachers better as weve been going for a few months. Its been a great experience in every way. My toddler doesnt simply get martial arts lessons, but lessons on life values that are important to build a good character. The teachers have also involve the parents sometimes, making the classes really fun. They are also incredibly patient, and encourage the students to learn each others names and form friendships.In just a few months, my daughter has been more outspoken about the things she doesnt like, which is something I was hoping to accomplish through martial arts. Being a good kid and listening to adults is important, but I wanted my daughter to express whenever she needs space, or is annoyed, or is overwhelmed in her own words. I never thought we could accomplish that in such little time.As I am writing this, my daughter wants everyone to know Mrs. Ress is her teacher who likes pink and purple.

These men and women are the BEST! Not only did my first set of twins earn their Black Belts by age 9 by going 3 times a week learning critical life skills, but my second set of twins are on the same path as white belts now! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

They are the most compassionate, kind, and generous group of people you will ever meet. I cannot say enough things about how amazing these classes have been for my son’s confidence and attitude. He has made incredible progress and we look forward to many more years of training and growth. We love IAMFAMILY!

My son is attending IAM Family, he loves the classes and he is learning many skills. Instructors are wonderful, they take time to help each student. Owners and instructors are very organized, helpful and polite. We are very happy to be part of this martial art school.

My son has been going there for a year now since the beginning of the pandemic and they have been awesome with trying to keep the kids engaged via zoom and in person classes. The staff is super patient and I highly recommend. They build on self esteem, decline, and skill level as the students progress from belt to belt.

Mr. and Mrs. Res were excellent teachers! They gave very good explanations and instructions and let us practice as much as we needed. They were open questions. They were also very organized and effective- all the time in the class was well spent. I would highly recommend them and their program to anyone!

This place is awesome. Ive been going here since I was 5 I was in tiny tigers and when I was that young I learned so much. Its not just a place to learn taekwondo its also a place to learn life pillars. like Leadership and Respect. The Leadership classes is what teaches you the pillars and they teach you fun forms and its always fun.

I Am Family is awesome. The teachers are great with kids of all skill levels. They learn perseverance and great life skills. My son isnt the most coordinated and he has learned and improved so much.

My son loves coming to his classes! Hes a very picky kid and doesnt like much more than video games.

I love the location. Its near everything. The classes are great. The classes we take are 35 minutes long and that seems just right. My son likes coming here. Hes learning and getting better with each class each takes. The instructors work well with the students and truly teach them.

We LOVE I Am Family! From day one we felt welcomed by the instructors and the other families. And my son loves his instructors and has grown and learned so much since we became a part of I Am Family! As parents we love the positive environment.

We are so happy to have found such a great Martial arts school for our family. The Ressureccion family have become like our second family and have welcomed everyone like their own. We truly enjoy attending Taekwando and Fitness Fitness kickboxing classes. The schedules are very accommodating. I would recommend this school for all potential students who want to be challenged in a fun, clean, family environment.

We heard about I AM Family ATA from a friend who not only had her son there but herself as well. She told me what amazing people and what a great program it was and how much it had done for her and her son. We enrolled our 10 year old and cant fully explain how much its done for him. Hes more confident. More focused. He loves the Instructors. Hes made friends. Come out of his shell. The Resurreccions are some of the nicest, kindest, most wonderful people youll ever meet. They have worked overtime trying to keep a sense of normal for the kids since this COVID-19 thing started with online classes, Belt tests and ceremonies, Sunday night events, Trivia, etc. ... not to mention bringing things to students homes - equipment, belts, etc. ... We love it here and would, and have, highly highly recommend it.

My daughter has been at IAMFAMILY ATA Martial Arts and Leadership Academy for 5 years. When we started, she was a shy, uncertain little girl. Her little sister used to torment her.The Resurrection family took the time to get to know my girls. They greet everyone, not just students and their parents, but the whole family by name.The families that attend this school are amazing! We often watch each others kids during class, we do community projects together. It is truly an extended family!My daughter is 10 years old now and has anxiety. IAMFAMILY had been instrumental in helping her manage the anxiety, finding an outlet and help teaching her to focus. She is now more outgoing and confident.Another example of how awesome this school is. During quarantine, it took the Resurrection family less than a week to organize online classes. They even coordinated online testing. We participated in the first virtual testing and my daughter is now very close to earning her second degree black belt.Simply, the Resurrection family and all the instructors, the families make this so much more than a school. Its family.

We found IAF Martial Arts a little over two years ago while visiting the homeschool expo. I signed my boys up for a free trial, and weve been part of the family ever since! And when I say part of the family, I truly mean it. Every member of the staff, every student teacher, every student, every parent - we all look out for each other. The owners - Paul and Hazel and their family - truly value each and every student and their families, and they are constantly looking for ways to bring more growth and learning experiences to the school and their students. And the difference I see in my own kids since the day we started is enough for me to recommend IAF Martial Arts to any one looking for a physical activity for their kids - or themselves!

Our 14 y/o daughter has been a student at IAMFAMILY for a little over 2 years now. We were thrilled to see her earn her blackbelt, but even more excited to witness her become a more confident and self-assured young woman. She is more aware of those around her, and those who might need someone to speak up for them. It makes us so proud that she has learned the skills to speak up for the defenseless. It doesnt hurt that shes learned how to take a grown man to the ground. 😁

My son loves ATA. The instructors are phenomenal and very motivating! When my son first started I was afraid he wouldn’t listen to the coches. I enrolled him in ATA not really expecting much but he loved it! My son needs a lot of redirecting, as expected from a 4 year old. Luckily, the coaches teach students discipline in addition to many other things and aren’t afraid to refocus them if they aren’t paying attention. I definitely recommend ATA to anyone! We love the coaches and my son is learning a lot. He has gained a lot of confidence and enjoys learning Taekwondo.

The Resurection family have created a special place. Our son absolutely has enjoyed the fun challenging environment that the instructors create. All of the instructors approach each student with firm love and kind encouragement. The confidence and discipline that my son has gained is a direct result of the solid leadership.

My son Gio has grown to absolutely love this martial art. The experience Paul gives the students is not to be compared to any other school. You can tell when someone has a passion for what they do and he has it. He makes it fun, yet instills respect, and other life lessons throughout the year. Pushing everyone to better themselves not just physically, but mentally. If you are thinking about it, dont . Just try it out already, they offer free trial classes!

We love Family ATA! The instructors are committed and friendly. They adjust their mix of encouragement and correction to help each person, whether adult or child, to improve. Besides learning taekwondo, our kids have grown in confidence and other life skills. As adult students, we have too. This is really a place for the whole family!

It was okay, the owners are extremely nice and respectful so nothing on them but the facility was extremely small and you are not allowed to walk with your shoes on the mat which made it virtually impossible to get to your seat. It also seemed like every time we turned around we were paying more money for something on top of the monthly payments.

The owner/instructor is the best. They really know how to work with kids of all ages.

ATA is a very friendly place, my son loves to be part of the team I AM FAMILY, awesome staff always positive, and helpful.
