Worst school district ever. Refuse to give special needs children the services they need to help them succeed in life. They do everything in their best interests not in the best interests of the children. Our children deserve better then that. Children get services based on the background which. Avoid this school district.. I wish I could give them 0 star

I usually do not do write ratings but this was necessary. The registration office at this place has to be a joke. I registered my kids 3 weeks ago. No one acknowledged my email where they asked for all my kids personal documents to be sent. No one answers the phone- except operators who can’t help. I left messages for a whole week- not one called back. When I go in person they ask you to make an appointment after you receive response via mail. School starts tomorrow and still no mail and no one to answer the phones. This is beyond ridiculous. The worse school district office I have ever come in contact with. Will make an official complaint to the board. Just be warned parents.

There is no one to talk to, rude people, no one caresWhen called in why we are waiting allready a half hour almost a block away from my house on a street with no side walks they said that everybody knew that they are starting to come 10 minutes earlier (Im not sure what method of communication everybody knew is we didnt get no phone call, message, text, email, or mail.

Today is the 5th day of school for my daughter. She has yet to take the school bus because it hasn’t shown up. When I call the office I get no answer or hung up on. I work out of town. I’m going to have to take off work just to go to the office again to get answers to why she and another student have not been picked up for school. (They both have bus passes for this stop)

Ive been calling the transportation office since the first day of school, NOBODY answers and you dont have the option to leave a voicemail.I understand that they can be busy/confused in the beginning but if our children are waiting to be picked up to go to school and the bus never shows up who do we complain to. I finally called and talked to an operator from the school district *not the transportation office* and he said we can not do anything about it. The only thing we can do is transfer your call so you can leave a voicemail or stop by the office. Not helpful at all by the time I get out of work their office is closed. So I guess my children and my neighbors son have to wait until the driver gets his route rigth or someone answers the phone in that office.We all work and we all getting paid so do your job the rigth way specially if you are overseeing the transporting and safety of our children.

Last month, the regular school bus driver (he is super nice) was telling me he will be off for the next 3 days and will have an alternative driver. And the next day, we were waiting for the bus over 40 mins (10 mins before the pickup time, 30s mins after the pickup time), then I have no choice, I dont want my son further late for the school. So I drop him off to the school, (25 mins from my house). When my son came home after school, he told me all his bus mates was in the school already, and they all picked up by the bus. THEN I realized the alternative bus driver FORGOT my son. Next day morning, the alternative driver no apologize, or nothing, not even a word about the mistake she made.

If I could give the east ramapo bus company no stars I would! They are extremely rude and unhelpful. They claim they have regard for child safety yet they are extremely unaccommodating. Two thumbs down.

The bus driver is very nice! The people in the office are rude and unhelpful. I waited 15 minutes before anyone picked up the phone. My issue was dismissed with no explanations. Very disappointing.

Horrible ! My kid’s bus stop is way too far from our house and even after I called the company they still won’t dont anything about it. Not only that, most days my child spends about 30 minutes outside in the cold outside of the school waiting on the bus driver.

I am so sick and tired of being sick and tired of this foolishness. How is it that they still can not get this right. Since my son has started school in this district we have had transportation issues. You call and you get hung up on so now I have to show up and make my presence known.

I called today over 15 times to find information on my son’s bus location, considering he was over an hour late! I WAS HUNG UP ON EVERY SINGLE TIME! You’re supposed to be overseeing the transporting of our children, They matter!! Clearly no one here gives a damn about them and that’s just disgusting!!
