We love this music school. Our instructor is great at keeping our son engaged and motivated. All the staff are friendly. They have many opportunities for performing for the students which has been wonderful to work toward and demonstrate progress. We would recommend to anyone seeking lessons.

I love what the Music Center is about. I took lessons when I was a kid and even now they still do great with community involvement. The team at HNMC is fantastic. They do their best to try and make music available to the community - regardless of financial background - and thats everything! They have everything from piano and guitar lessons to vocal lessons, strings, woodwinds, and brass instruments.

Instructors are kind and effective in finding a method that suits each childs learning process. Administration staff -great communication and go out of their way to support families to provide a musical education for students of all ages. Highly recommended.

Many years ago, my children took piano and voice lessons at Holy Names Music Center. They benefited greatly from the knowledge and inspiration their wonderful teachers instilled in them, but that wasnt all. The Music Center made it possible for them to receive scholarships, perform regularly on the stage of McNally Recital Hall, and use the substantial Music Library.At present, I myself teach violin at Holy Names Music Center and feel privileged to be part of the music education of many bright children. I appreciate the expert help of the staff and enjoy working in this historic building.

Our family has been taking Cello lessons here since the mid 1980s. The HNMC community feels like family to us. They have excellent programs for every type of student. The Music Center is a vital musical teaching hub for the greater Spokane Area and we can’t recommend them enough!

My daughter has taken violin lessons at Holy Names MC for almost 8 years. Ms. Dimitrova has been a great teacher all this time, helping my daughter to continue to grow as a violinist. It is evident the teachers love the school and what they do.

Fantastic place to learn the instrument youve always wanted to play at times most convenient for you. Instructors are excellent teachers to adults and children.

This is my daughter’s first opportunity to play in an ensemble. She was very scared and nervous at first, but under Jorge Uzcátegui’s baton, she has blossomed in both poise and technique. The MUSIC INNOVATES orchestra camp has been a true blessing to experience; we are looking forward to participating again next summer.

Ive been going to HNMC for almost 3 years now, and I am very happy I started going here. This school has a very warm and friendly atmosphere, and great learning environment for all ages. All the music teachers are wonderful. Overall it is worth looking in to!

I go to Holy Names Music Center and I love it. The instructors are professionals. They know what theyre doing, and they know how to teach a beginner. As for me and my sister, we love going there, its like a family to us.

We started our journey with Holy Names Music Center back in 2006 when my eldest daughter took lessons for a couple of years before moving to Texas. When we moved back to the area, I new I wanted my other children to have the same opportunity in their music education as my eldest. I have two daughters who take violin with Garnick Goukasian, the same teacher we had when we lived here before, and a son who takes cello lessons from Sister Karen Conlin. We feel very blessed to have the quality of education that Holy Names provides through their instructors. The staff at the center are friendly and caring, always making recitals a fun experience for the students.

My children have studied with three different instructors here. One grew up to be a professional musician. Thrilled to have had my kids get their start in music at this wonderful school.
