Amazing daycare! Ive had some bad experiences with daycare in the past and have been super hesitant to take my girls to another one. Rooted Academy is not a daycare, it is an amazing preschool and home away from home. Wendy and Brooke are professional, caring, and genuine. The teachers are also fantastic! Rooted Academy excels in communication with their parents and I am seriously so impressed. It doesnt feel fair to call this a daycare because that makes me think of my past experiences with budget care. Rooted Academy is incredible!

We have absolutely loved our experience at Rooted. The staff is friendly, and you get the feeling they really care about the kids there. I felt very comfortable dropping my daughter off there, and I knew that Demecca would take great care of her! They send pictures and videos during the day, and communicate through the app whenever there is information to relay. They are professional without feeling corporate. Highly recommend.

Rooted Academy has exceeded our expectations! Trying to find infant care is always challenging but Rooted Academy answered all our questions, was willing to set up tour around our work schedule, and helped make the transition smooth all around. They have continued to have excellent communication and provide a warm & welcoming environment. Our daughter has thrived in their infant care and we miss them dearly. Demecca, Wendy, and Brooke thank you for all you do!

We have been at Rooted Academy for over a year and a half and we are loving it!! I was nervous about the transition from an in-home daycare environment but our kids thriving. I can’t say enough good things about the staff - they are kind, loving, great communicators and I know I can go to work and feel completely at ease. It’s easy to see what they are doing between the posted calendars, menu, and the app, but it seems like they could brag a lot more about all they do for our kids and teach them. The environment feels safe, organized, very clean and CALM! And the food always sounds healthy and good. It’s affiliated with a non-denominational Christian church - and we love that, too. Rooted is the best!!

I was referred to Rooted Academy by a friend and they met all of our expectations. My daughter attended PreK 4 and upon her recent completion she knows all of her letters and sounds! she can even read at 4yrs old. Her father and I both have Masters Degrees and take education seriously and it was nice to have a organization who shared those same values. The staff was always willing to share things we can do at home to help facilitate learning in the home. Aside from that the school is affiliated with a church :) Not only did they help us set the foundation for learning but also the foundation of Gods Glory. As a black family I must say I was happy to see some variety of ethnicity present amongst the staff. We are so grateful our lil girl had a good experience and was never harmed while in RA care. We hope to continue a friendship with Rooted Academy !

We love Rooted helping us raise our kids. My son has done Kindgergarten here and I am very impressed with his progress. My daughter loves the activities and routine and looks forward to seeing her friends and teachers. I never worry about the quality of care my childeren are recieving and am so thankful for my Rooted family!

The school has been wonderful, they are doing a great job even during this challenging time.

Rooted Academy is amazing! My daughter attended for close to two years before we moved out of state. Her last day was so tough in all the best ways. We miss Utah and Rooted so much. They always treated us like family, and my daughter (5 years old now) still talks about her Utah friends and school to this day!

Im seriously impressed with this preschool. The teachers are kind and patient, and the director is very knowledgable and attentive. You can tell the staff really love the kids and want to not only teach the children academically, but also teach them good life values from the youngest of ages, planting good seeds in their little hearts. Im so grateful that this school is in my community!

My 2 and 4 year old went to Rooted for about two years, and when I had to give notice that we were moving out of state, I cried. The staff is incredibly attentive, compassionate, and professional. I was so impressed! My children developed strong friendships and important developmental skills there. I can be tough, but the Rooted team surpassed my expectations. I miss having my children under their care.

We have loved having our daughter here. She is learning and making friends. She has attwntive and kind teachers. It is always clean and inviting and I am always in the know as to how her day is going. I would recommend anyone to bring their children here they will be loved on for sure!

We have been taking our 15-month-old there for almost a year now. We have been so incredibly impressed with this facility. My daughter LOVES her teachers, and they take such good care of her. They are great to provide updates throughout the day, and its so comforting to know how well she is taken care of there. The directors, Megan and Brooke, are incredible as well. They are usually seen helping out, which is great to see in directors. The pricing is very reasonable for the community. I would HIGHLY recommend this facility to any parent. I wish I could give them 10 stars.I want to provide an update. Our daughter is now 3, and she has attended Rooted Academy since she was 3 months old. We could not be happier with the care she has received there. The toddler class she has been in has been so much more than “child care”. They have taught her so much. I’m always amazed to see what all she has learned, like when she recited the entire Pledge of Allegiance to me one night. I didn’t even know she knew what that was, let alone able to recite the entire thing. The current directors, Brooklyn and Wendy, are amazing! It’s obvious how much they care for all of the kids and their parents there!

Went on a tour to check out the facility and loved it. We talked with Megan and we were ready to enroll our son.We had mentioned he was not vaccinated but didn’t go into details. Megan just said to follow exemption procedures and we would be good to go. We put our $200 deposit down and had a start date.Megan than called and said that they could not accept our child because he was not vaccinated. I asked her if that was the case for medical exemption and she said yes.At this point we had canceled all of our wait list options and were not looking into other daycare centers.So we had start back at square one.Then Megan sent us an email saying they were willing to reconsider him because it was medical reasons that his vaccinations delayed.I mentioned to them we were working with his pediatrician to get the medical note that was required.There was a lot of yes we can then no we can’t. It was very annoying and unprofessional. You would think that a director would know this before working at a daycare center.Long story short our son is not here. And just a note to parents looking at this center and your child is not vaccinated for whatever the reason is. I’ll save you the time. They won’t take your child.

My son has been enrolled in Rooted Academy since February and we have loved it! The facility is clean and fresh and uncluttered, my perfect idea of a great learning enviornment for my 2 year old. The teachers are wonderful and loving!The only issue we had was getting the key fob to get in the building but that was resolved.We are in the process of getting my daughter enrolled for their summer day camp!

Weve had our daughter at Rooted for a little over a year and weve loved our experience there. Having her enrolled in a full-time pre-school program has been so great for her. Shes learned so much and is now prepared for kindergarten in the fall. The teachers are top quality, college-educated professionals. They are very structured and offer great learning programs for the children. They also do a lot of fun activities that keep children engaged and excited about learning. They cater to her specific learning style and needs. There are regular parent/teacher conferences and ample opportunities to discuss your childs progress. We cant say enough good about Rooted Academy. The staff and teachers are the best. And its a clean, happy atmosphere.

This daycare was really good when we enrolled our child here 6 months ago. The director was amazing and the teachers really bonded with the children. Our 2-year-old son used to run and hug his teacher every morning. Then everything completely changed. When the new director Megan started, all the teachers started quiting. Four teachers all quit the same day. Our son started crying every morning we left him there. He started acting out. He frequently came home with minor injuries (bruises, scratches and bite marks) and when we asked what had happened, we were told nobody had witnessed the incident. Then it escalated. The director called without any notice demanding we immediately pick up our son because he was hitting other kids. Whereas it used to be a loving, nurturing environment, now it was a dangerous, negative place. Megan demanded we sign a “behavioral plan” for our 2-year-old. Instead of acknowledging the problems with frequent turnover or using positive reinforcement to encourage good behavior, she became obsessed with punishing our toddler. We became so concerned for his safety and well-being that we had no choice but to pull him out. Now Megan’s trying to add bogus charges to our account in an effort to get back at us because we called her out on the ridiculous way she runs Rooted Academy. Avoid this daycare. Worst experience ever.

My daughter was one of the first kids enrolled here since their opening. From finding the best teachers available to figuring out all the little details, the company handled their growing pains really well and didnt let it affect the kids in the slightest. Rooted Academy incorporates just the right amount of religion into their curriculum. I know non-religious parents that bring their kids here just because they take better care of the kids, and also religious people who know that their kids will grow up with the strong values they need.My husband and I are extremely picky with where our little girl gets watched. Not counting sleeping hours, her teachers see her more that we do so why wouldnt we be. In the past, weve looked at and tried other places - but ended up with a sick feeling in our gut. Rooted Academy passed our test. It doesnt have a bad smell when you walk in, the teachers arent going to ignore your concerns, they wont make you feel bad for voicing any either, its NOT ran out of a basement so there is no worry about out-of-home daycare concerns and they are always just a phone call away. They even have an app where they give you live updates like what they had for breakfast/lunch/snacks, what time their nap was, if they had any accidents, pictures and etc.I recently had to pull my daughter out because I lost my job. This is part of an email I sent, sharing our appreciation,Dezirae misses you all like crazy- It was a really hard decision to pull her out and every day she asks why she isnt going to school. Rooted Academy is the one and only daycares she has been to for more than a day, and being picky parents; that says a lot. She always comes home knowing something new, like how to spell her name

We tried really hard with this school bc it’s nice and bible based and we had high hopes—but now that our son is moved and in a Montessori school—wow what a difference.We honestly think our 2 year old got PTSD from this school by the way they “discipline” aka “shame” small children. My biggest regret at this point was trying for as long as we did here. They will remove the child from the classroom to be with the young director, often times she will hold the child down, while the child screams, until she can get a parent to pick the child up. Not only that, they will force a child to do things like color, causing creativity scars and emotional damage in the process. Who MAKES a child color? Honestly...At the new school, my child not acting out at all. He sits quietly and plays! He is listened to! He is told he is a good boy! And for discipline they never ever remove the child from the classroom or shame the child. They would never hold them down. But yes, they are stern and they understand how to use teachable moments without causing emotional harm. It has made an absolute world of difference in our son’s behavior and attitude toward school, also at home, and now our son is excited for school and is all around a better behaved and happier child. He tells us that his teachers “talk to me” and “love me” and “he is so smart” and he is “a good boy”. Those words? I don’t think they once happened at Rooted Academy. Actually, quite the opposite.So my advice is, if your child is having “behavior problems” at this school, remove them ASAP and find a more loving environment because this school is very rigid and strict, and it’s going to be a decent fit for some children but certainly a terrible fit for many. Do not keep giving them chances as we did. Do not keep trying just bc the facility is nice. There are better options out there, I promise!
