This school sucks. Bullies are all over the place, they are never are punished. The teachers are rude and disrespectful, if Im gonna respect you, I would like to get some respect back (just saying).Staff is awful. The only nice staff are the janitors and 3, maybe 4, nice teachers.Lunch is so terrible that last year I threw up twice on two different occasions because of the pizza. The pizza is 90% grease and the other 10% is radioactive waste. I wouldnt be surprised if one day my hamburger grew legs and walked away.The bathrooms are disgusting and the water fountains are gross. And get this, if one student vandalizes the bathroom that whole grade level is punished with no courtyard.There is a major bug problem, and a few rats. No time or money is put into this school and the only thing the teachers care about is their money. They dont try to help you when you start to fail, only call your parents, say a quick Your son/daughter is failing. Goodbye Mrs/Mr _____If you report a problem, it does not get taken care of even when they tell you they will deal with it.This school is TERRIBLE.If you love your child, then do not think about putting them in this school. But if you do (hopefully, you dont) then get ready for them to complain about all the things I just wrote in this review.That is all. Thank you for your consideration.(P.S. I know the school can see who I am, so if you have a problem with my review, then you can fix all the things that were complained about. Put time into hiring your staff and be respectful to the student here since they put up with your junk all dang day. Also, get more people like the janitors, they are awesome and nice, and clean our messes when they can. Very nice people. Not the teachers, just the janitors.)

Is this school really that bad?? Are these reviews from actual students or parents? I am a parent of a rising 6th grader & from the looks of the reviews i will be doing a lot of praying for my daughter...definitely hoping this is a great school....(new to the area)

The band program is good, and it is good that you can collaborate with the Hillcrest sports. But the kids here are mean, if you are thinking about coming to this school, I think it would be a pretty good idea.

I’m a 8th grade student here at Bryson. I’ve been here for all my middle school years. all the teachers I had were the best. But the only person that helped me with my issues in 7th grade was Mr. Schoolfild and he got fired or quit. The students here are very disrespectful, they get no discipline and bully’s are everywhere. The good thing about this school is it makes you stronger from all the kids picking on you and making fun of you. But that’s not really a good Quality for a school. All of the faculty are great. The only problem I have with the school is the discipline for the students. They could work on that, but besides that it’s a good school.

The school has turned sexist! The girls and the boys are separated at lunch and courtyard now! If you have friends that are boys you can only see them in class. Theyre even thinking of separating girls and boys from classes next year! They minus well build another school behind Bryson and make it a private school for each gender the way theyre going!

I come to school and think am i disabled?. i was on the hit list and was aware of the vodka and juice the students passed around. and i personally knew the guy that killed his mother. Mr Puskas is cool though, so is mr stevens and mr parker has some anger management issues you guys may want to look into that.

This school is the worst school in GCSD hands down no one acknowledges the rats and bugs EVERYWHERE teachers only care about grades and dress code teachers write you up for the dumbest things like not having your shirt tucked in like you don’t know my life problems right now what if I just got news my grandma died this morning and I forgot to tuck in my shirt like chill out god the 7th grade assistant principle stopped me out of all people wearing flip flops to interrogate about if we were aloud to wear them or not then pulls out his phone and tries to press a rule in the handbook on me and finds nothing the staff is pothetic teachers call you late if you’re like a minute late to class if you have an early dismissal “ oh where are you going huh huh bring back a note “ like I don’t have to tell you where I’m going I could be going to a funeral and all you care about is bringing back a note like everyone is extremely rude and I’ll say it again one of the 7th grade math teachers has a pet rat in her class because she caught it in there and principles don’t question it like how dumb are you guys when I was a 5th grader and took a tour of the school the first thing that came to my mind when I walked in was I feel claustrophobic and I’m not even claustrophobic they make you walk on the right side of a black line on the floor and if your talking in class they make you wait so your late to class like they don’t care about their students much less their job

This is one of the best Middle schools in the state this is the school my son goes to and my daughter just finished

Awful school! My son was bullied so bad there that he still has anxiety 3 years later. When you confront administration about it, nothing is ever done. He only attended for 1/2 his 6th grade year, I pulled him out after that. It is absolutely horrific how the children in this school are allowed to behave and even more horrific how the adults turn their head.

We found a dead rat under the bleachers all the teachers all rude and the ones that are nice there are only like 4 maybe 5 or 6 and the staff there doesnt clean anything this school is always so dirty.

My sons 1st year attending Bryson Middle School and So far i havnt heard or seen anything to make me worry, my son tells me he havs no issues in the matter of some of these comments, But after reading some, i will be paying more attention to my son and the school, we all should . Thank you and bless our kids .

I would rather go back to my Northwood Middle School where we cant even have our phones out until 3:15 or you get a referral than be at this school, thats all I gotta say...

They do not care about us they dont put money into our school, there is very little help here, they have rats in their lunchroom . Cafeteria food is gross and little attention with extracurricular activities
