This school was great overall! Fast, cheap, and informative. Louis and Sergio were awesome. Louis is very knowledgeable and actually cares and makes sure he does whatever he can to assure you are ready to take and pass your test. I couldn’t care less about one of the instructors there as he is simply useless and very rude. This does not change my review as I dismissed this guy as does the majority of the other students. Overall this is a great school and recommended to get your CDL. I have already recommended this school to a few people amd will continue to do so.

Thanks so much to Luis and Chris for helping me get my Class A and Passenger Endorsement! This school was great and has flexible hours so I could do the classes around my work schedule. I also liked that their fee includes coming to the classes as many times as you need, not just limited to a few hours of classes like some other schools. I came to Sergio trucking school in April 2021, i went everyday i was commuted to going. Both Christian and Luis are great instructors. Highly recommend to go here. Its friendly, affordable and dedicated to helping you pass.

The school was very flexible with my hours and worked with me on payments. Louis and Chris were very helpful and motivating. I wasn’t made to take my test until I was absolutely ready. They took care of everything at the DMV for me and I passed the first time. Highly recommend this school. Just passed my test. If you dont need somebody to hold your hand and can study on your own this school is it. They provide you with the material and its up to you to do the work. They will teach you technique and answer all your questions. Luis and Christian are always there to help. But you must be willing to take the initiative to succeed.

From day one, I was treated with respect and assistance. I was given clear instructions by the trainers and hands on help. I made progress weekly, and by the time I took my test at the DMV, I was ready and prepared for the pre-trip truck inspection, air break tests, in-cab inspection, the backing skills tests, and the drive test. I passed the DMV exam because I learned everything at Sergios Truck School that I needed to know. I am happy and satisfied, this is a exellent school.

This was a good school for me to attend, as I was busy working fulltime while getting my Commercial Drivers License. Vehicle skills and on-road practice are set up on a first come, first serve basis at the school in Simi Valley. The bookwork of learning your pre-trip inspections is very simple if youre a motivated student who is willing to put in the time studying outside of school. When youre new, meet with fellow students who are close to taking their test at the DMV and learn with them! This is critical!5/5 this school worked on my schedule, cant beat the cost.Thank you to the instructors Luis and Cristian.

Went through Sergio’s Trucking School for my Class A CDL. Staff was friendly and willing to help. Ask questions and they’ll help you out as best as they can. Overall a good experience learning how to drive a big truck for the first time.

Check out the schools and how the instructors teach before you pay this school has a No refund policy, they say is unlimited but when you go to class theirs like 5 more guys Or more there and you have to wait in line for your turn. you only get 3chances a day from 2 minutes to 15 minutes each time you would spend 2 hours standing around for 20 minutes of instruction then send home even if theirs no student.For the inspection test they tell you to memorize 6 pages on your own or to go watch a YouTube channel they’re will not help you on thatThe skill test Basically they just let you borrow the truck and learn on your own, their would allow you to mess up over and over Very Poor instruction, they spend more time on their phone than instructionMy advice is to look for somebody that would give the time to give you 1on 1 instructions .

I initially used another trucking school based on a referral but had little to show for it after basically wasting $1000.I then called Sergio. Everybody is cool and want to see you pass FAST since the business is based on volume. Unlike some, Sergio wont string you along for months trying to milk you for more and more money. Luis, Christian and Brian do a great job. You’ll pass if you commit to the process, listen and read the CDL instruction manual and Sergios instruction sheets. Plus, Sergio uses only trucks with flatbed trailers for instruction and testing. Using flatbeds makes learning easier and improves your chances of passing the parking skills portion of the test since you are better able to see behind the trailer. Call Sergio first. Great group of people, Sergio, Luis, Christian and Henry, thank you everyone. I did like 8 sessions or so, but they had me ready to go within 3 sessions. Make your appointment at DMV on your first day, because it takes like 1 month or so to get in for the test.Believe me, you will be ready quicker than you think.Little flat bed trailer, easy to back up.Makes it easier in the skill section of the test.Recommend to everyone for sure.

Im very happy with my choice of Sergio School of trucking. My experience was very informative from the first day. While in the process of getting my Class A drivers license Sergio took extra time with me to teach my how to successfully get my license. I researched other schools in the area and there was no way I was going to pay six thousand dollars for training. For the price I paid with Sergio I got way more than I paid for!!! The Trucks you learn on are very clean and transmissions are in very good working order so shifting gears is simple if you can already drive Stick. Also the other school wanted to charge me for teaching materials and DVD at Sergios all materials were included. When taking my test I knew what I was expected to do to pass and Sergio made sure I was more than prepared. So Thanks Sergio!
