Very welcoming & positive community! The instructors are understanding and open to new ideas brought up by the students. They are also patient when teaching choreography and have no problem answering questions or clarifying steps. Tons of performance opportunities are given as well! It’s a fun, engaging experience for a wide range of ages!

Zind is a welcoming community that has helped me grow as a dancer, and improve upon my skills in so many areas. Even though I dance in a group, I’m also getting individual feedback and learning how to become more expressive as an individual. The best part of joining Zind however is gaining a new family.

When I first joined Zind, I was shy and very stiff as a dancer. Throughout the years I have felt more comfortable on the stage and with my classmates, making me more confident and expressive.

I love that they offer so many different genres of traditional Indian dance. If you’re looking for a new experience, I highly recommend Zind! The instructors are very patient and so encouraging. It’s a very fun dynamic and a great after school activity for kids and adults alike.

This is a great class for young adults. The instructors are incredibly friendly and there are plenty of opportunities to perform. The other students are awesome people!

I had great experience working with Ninankshi Dance Studio - whether sending my son to perform with the group or working with the director in organizing a program. Nina, the director of the Dance Studio is very passionate about dancing and teaching her students. She is very professional, creative and organized.

Ninakshi dance studio is very professional and easy to deal with. From a student perspective very easy payment methods, great costumes and performance organization.We dont have to do any running around on our part to put together costumes for performances Nina makes this process very simple and duplicatable for every performance. The dance pieces are unique and different and I love the classical touch. Definitely recommend this in the D.C/Metro area!!!

Nina is a good choreographer and a lively personality. The live sessions with her were great.
