Unfortunately my first class here was online due to COVID, but it was nothing short of AMAZING! If a class through a screen was this fun, I can only imagine what it’s like in the studio. I took 305 fitness with Lily with my sisters and roommates and we all had so much fun!! Fun and welcoming for all ages, bodies, fitness levels, dancers, non dancers, etc. It was so fun, I recruited more friends about a week later for another class. Such a fun, calorie crushing, sweaty class!!! Can’t wait to experience this magic in the studio!

It can be extremely intimidating to enter a dance community, since established groups can feel cliquey. Studio Azul is so great about removing those barriers that might prevent people from trying something new. They offer some of the best conditioning classes and dance training taught by professional, experienced, and high energy teachers. They are so intentional about the type of community they create to make everyone feel welcome. I encourage everyone- at any level of dance training or fitness- to try a class or few from Studio Azul, now offered online too!

In the two years Ive danced here I have seen incredible personal growth in my ability as a dancer. I feel supported, challenged, empowered and part of an amazing community of people. Finding adult classes in the city can be difficult, but Studio Azul has accessible classes to all levels - beginner to advanced. Joining this studio has been a rewarding experience. The studio owner, Lily, is dedicated to her teams and classes and always puts in 110%. She invests in all her dancers’ personal growth and success. She is such a talented dancer, choreography, and instructor.

Lily is the heart and soul of Studio Azul and she combines technical excellence with passion and fun at this fantastic boutique studio. From little details like La Croix in the fridge to organizing studio bonding nights around town, Studio Azul is a full dance and conditioning experience. I’ve danced my whole life, and I can confidently say this studio is a gem. Don’t think-just do. Reach out to Lily or just check the schedule online to come drop in to a dance or conditioning class. It can be in addition to your regular dance or fitness routine-even one class a week at this space will yield serious results.

Studio Azul is basically my second home...I love the people who come here, it is a true sense of community. Ive been on Lilys dance teams for liiike, maybe 4 years now, and I absolutely recommend taking classes with her - she is a talented and professional dancer who knows how to create a fun and challenging environment. She creates original choreography for all her dance teams and really cares about her students progress. Not only that, but Studio Azul is more than just a dance studio - its a culturally respectful community that empowers women and builds friendships.

Studio Azul is one of the best places in Seattle to learn dance technique and build strong foundation in varied styles including latin, jazz, ballet and contemporary. The quality of instruction, professionalism and experience of all of the instructors, and deep understanding of dance at studio azul is unmatched. You wont tine anyone more knowledgeable and Latin techniques and styles than Lily, the studio owner. The choreography from the Lily and the other instructors is beautiful and challenging. I love the community of supportive dancers always pushing each other to be better that dance at studio azul. Could not recommend enough!

Im so happy I found this studio! Been looking for somewhere that teaches a style of dance I love and holds a high quality bar and this is it. Lily, the instructor/owner, is amazing at making sure youre at the right level to feel good but be challenged. She genuinely cares about growing all her students & promoting a positive dance community!
