Great classes for the whole family. My son is 7 and has gone from Little Dragons to the advanced group...and loves it. My wife attends the kickboxing classes (hope those come back soon) and my daughter (5) wants to start too. Love the staff and support group. Keep it up North Bay team.

Jeff Speakmans Kenpo 5.0 North Bay Martial Arts is an amazing place! I started about four months ago and was hooked on day one. I was looking for something more interactive than the day to day routine the gym gives you, so I looked up Martial Arts and found Kenpo karate right here in Santa Rosa.The instructors are truly amazing people. They are kind, understanding, funny, smart, and really, really good at teaching. The other students are also a fun group of people to be around and to learn with.In the short time I have been practicing Kenpo Martial Arts with the wonderful people in Santa Rosa, I have come to realize its more than just learning karate and getting a great work out. The instructors are amazing. They share their own passion and knowledge of Kenpo. My daughter started 4 years ago and I have seen her gain knowledge, confidence and strength. Through her journey I decided to start my own Kenpo journey. This school is great for all ages.

When I came into the classroom. I had zero knowledge about Karate. I am 90 pounds over weight and 53 years old. The instructors have been very helpful. I am learning new skills and feeling better about myself. Come by the Adult beginner class and ask for Steve.

I started at Jeff Speakmans Kenpo 5.0 North Bay over 2 and a half years ago. After watching our children do various forms of martial arts, my husband and I decided wed like to give it a try. Its something I went into not knowing AT ALL what to expect. Well, 2.5 years later I have found it was one of the best decisions I made. The instructors hold you to a high standard, and I love it. Moving up in rank is awesome, but I find the focus is more on perfecting what you have at your current level before moving on. We work hard and train hard, so when the time comes to move up to the next belt color, you truly feel youve earned it. Its also fun, and everyone there is friendly. Its like another family. If you want to work hard, learn ways to defend yourself against anyone wanting to do you harm, be physically active and challenge yourself....I would highly recommend this school.

Wow... I never thought at my age. not that Im old I would be excited to work out . The instructors .Ms.. Row, MR Bates and MS French . have made me so comfortable and I just earned my yellow belt. Wow! We signed our 9 year old son up for the six week trial class when he started getting bullied at school. He was shy, introverted and loaded with anxiety when he first walked into the studio as a white belt. 4 months later, he is now a yellow belt, no longer getting bullied and is making friends. He is also learning discipline, respect and gaining confidence. THANK YOU so much for such a powerful experience.

My 6 year old son has grown leaps and bounds since beginning Kenpo in October! He is learning discipline, listening skills, self control, and above all gaining self-esteem! We are so happy with the instructors and the classes offered!

Jeff Speakmans Kenpo 5.0 is incredible system. If you are looking for a Martial Arts school you should give it a look. I had study a different system for about 4 years and had to stop for several reasons, one being some serious injuries.( Not Kenpo related). Anyways after being out of it for about another 4 years I wanted to get back into it. I found this small school and fell in love with it. The martial arts system is great, very practical, effective and fun. The best part is the instructors. Very well balanced in knowledge, application, instruction and support. beyond just the incredible instructors Mr. Bates, Ms. Row, Miss French and Mr. OShaughnessy, We have often get instruction from other black belts in the system all the way up to Mr. Speakman himself.This is a great school, from a solid association, offering an incredible system in a family atmosphere. It does not get much better then this.

Martial arts has always been a lifestyle for my family since my daughters were very young. They are all teens now and we still feel strongly that being able to defend yourself is very important.
