As a previous student at this school, I feel as if it had completely turned my life around for the better. It taught me patience, compassion and understanding on top of the fantastic academic studies they provide. I was able to graduate into NMSA, my top pick high school. I had also become an award winning artist within my time spent there. I would strongly recommend this place for children of any background, and at any level of social and academic skills. This school will assist and support you in whatever way they can.

This is a wonderful school. My three children have thrived here and been inspired by the master teachers in each class. The school culture is one of respect and kindness, which is reflected in the attention and care given to each child to learn in the way that is best for them. My oldest daughter has now gone on to high school and feels that her experiences at SFSAS prepared her very thoroughly both academically and socially. I highly recommend this school!

We feel so lucky to have our two daughters in this school! Weve been at the school for 8 years and plan to have both girls stay until they graduate. They love going to school. The teachers are amazing, engaging and excellent at conveying information to suit a wide range of learning styles. The school skillfully blends the perfect combination of academics, social/emotional well-being and community!

As a teacher at SFSAS, I cannot begin to offer enough praise or support of this wonderful school. Imagine coming to a school where children are happy, engaged, learning, and courageously extending themselves above and beyond the expectations. This is my school. I teach in an environment that truly honors diversity, that believes in the goodness of all children, that believes in the power of kindness and compassion and respect and really believes that children are young scholars---that they contribute to this world because they are the most important part of it. I was given the best gift of my life when I was asked to work at this school and I believe there is no better place for young children and learners than SFSAS.

My daughters have both attended SFSAS since pre-kindergarden. The teaching has been excellent, and they have flourished both academically and socially. It is a small school, which has both benefits and drawbacks, with a very strong and welcoming community. Most important, my girls love the school, they enjoy going to school and are constantly engaged in interesting and challenging work. It has been a great fit for our family!

I love this school, they really listen to you and your learning capabilities and they are very eager to help you in anyway posable! I gave it 4 stars because I think theres to much homework, and its just a little to hard for me. Also It starts at 8:15AM every day, and I live 20 minuets away so I have to wake up at 6AM, then once I get there Im to tired to learn. Other than that its a fantastic school!
