Irina and Jeff Cassady have been customers since the opening and re-branding of the store. The staff have always been courteous and helpful at every turn. I was disappointed to read Alex Cs review of the anniversary event. I found the event to be bustling, happy and invigorating. To the contrary, I will never take my instruments anywhere else for my setups. Staff is always courteous, kind, helpful, efficient and qualitatively excellent. And I will always direct any student I encounter who is interested in music studies to go to Impulse. I am a loyal and happy patron.

I moved to Santa Clarita just over a year ago and immediately became familiar with my nearest music store, Impulse Music Co. Upon entering the first time, I was incredibly pleased with the instruments in stock, layout of the store, and the energy presented by staff and customers alike. Since moving, Ive gone to Impulse countless times for repairs, advice, purchases, and most recently a few concerts. Not once have I been led astray or disappointed in any way. Staff is always friendly and personable, the store is always clean and organized, and return times for repairs are exceptionally fast. After coming to Impulse, I cant picture myself needing to go to another music store ever again. Huge thank you to the Impulse team for making this store a reality and fostering such an awesome place for inspiration, growth, and fun!

I bought a guitar through their site. Their system canceled the order immediately and marked out of stock. So, I bought a different model of the same brand. The next business day, Cj noticed and let me know the original order was actually in stock and it was an error.They already had the sale and they went one step further to make sure I got what I really wanted. I wish more companies acted like this.

This is the best music store I’ve ever been to. I come here for pretty much all my needs. The staff is great. I come in only every couple of months, but everyone seems to remember me and treat me like I’m spending thousands of dollars when I’m just picking up strings. The gear they get is top notch. Have you seen their new Rivolta exclusive model? This store is the best.

Every time Ive gone, the vibe has always been positive, and welcoming, and when I go to a music store, thats amazing! any time Ive needed small stuff, like strings, Ive always had a great, friendly experience from the staff. great selection of instruments, great events(especially the biweekly open mic nights), its just generally a great place to be! When I was beginning to learn guitar, I brought a new acoustic to Impulse to get a set-up and just generally get their opinion on the state of the instrument, to make sure everything was copacetic on it. Instead of happily taking my money for a service I didn’t need, they took a few minutes to inspect the guitar and told me straight that a set-up wouldn’t make enough of a difference to be worth it for me to pay for. The staff who helped me that day were attentive, and it was cool of them to be honest with a noob who they could’ve easily just took money from.

What a wonder store this is!! Anything you can think of relating to any instrument Impulse Music will have. Their staff have been AMAZING every time I’ve been there and I will always recommend them!! They will definitely satisfy your musical needs and wants!!

We moved to LA county last fall and shortly after, we found this awesome music store. CJ is very knowledgeable, helpful and always greets us when we come in (you can say we’re regulars now 😁). The store has an amazing selection to choose from and they let you try out whatever you’re looking at. They will answer questions you have and offer tips. We love the lessons deal they offer as well as the cool stage in back for open mic and other performances. This place is clean, professional and has everything a music person needs. We are planning to switch from regular lessons to the performance workshop. Oh, and Joe, my daughters instructor is wonderful to work with too. We are happy we found this place. Attended their stores birthday event on August 1st. For my first time ever in the store, I was extremely underwhelmed. The selection of products was great but the customer service was awful. We walked in and not a single employee even said hello to us. We got multiple looks but nothing else. I went to purchase raffle tickets for this event and the kid working the counter continuously made eye contact with me and my money in my hand and ignored me. He kept waving his buddies to come cut in front of me and get their tickets in before the drawing. I even walked all the way up to the counter and leaned on it and said excuse me and he continued to talk to his friends at the counter. When I finally got his attention I had missed the raffle. When I asked him anything his response was just a shrug. The staff was utterly uninterested in anyone that was not a part of their clique. Extremely unwelcoming and disappointing.

Purchased a Guitar on their online shop to get sent up near the bay area. Gave them a call, the guitar they had listed on the site was the same guitar pictured - no stock photos for the listing, which was awesome since it was an acoustic with a unique wood pattern. Time from ordering it to receiving it was 5 days. It arrived well packed to ensure it wasnt damaged! Would buy from them again.

I want to thank yall for being great! I had a very run down, bass guitar, electric, and bass amp that had seen too many gigs, for both of which I asked for recommendations on pick-ups and a new DI respectively. I appreciate the teams care and patience as they got the items I needed thru backorder as a consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Went to Impulse for the first time a couple months ago. I saw they were the only dealer to carry the GOC headless guitars so I went up to check them out. First off, this store is how music shops should look like. It is aesthetically pleasing and inviting. You can tell how much thought they put into setting this place up. Secondly the staff is incredibly friendly & knowledgeable. I had a few questions regarding the headless and they answered everything so quickly and easily. Obviously I sat down and demo’d one out. Not even with the intention of buying one, honestly. But between the incredible environment and the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff I decided to say screw it and get myself an early birthday present. I absolutely love my GOC and will most definitely be doing business with them again in the future.

I hadnt been to this Impulse Music Co. since they moved a few blocks from their previous spot. Such a better experience than at guitar center. I dont know the name of the guy who helped me in the acoustic room, but he was very nice/insightful. My kids had a good time at the store too! They were even given lollipops.

We have both virtual and in person music lessons here. Both of my children are on the autism spectrum, and the instructors have been AMAZING with them! The kids love it so much, it helps builds their confidence, and they look forward to their lessons each week. When we walk in the door for my son’s lesson (they follow every COVID protocol to the T) it’s like seeing extended family :)

Super nice and helpful, fully set up my guitar in 15 minutes and it feels better than it ever has, and for a lot less than other places i’ve been :) also a great collection of instruments that i haven’t seen anywhere else. i would leave 10 stars if i could, thank you so much!!

Went in today to get my guitar set up and the service was amazing. Everyone was super helpful and I really enjoyed my time there.

These guys are hands down the best and coolest. I bought a Recording King acoustic parlor guitar here that started fretting out in only a few months, and brought it in for repair. Now I was fully ready to pay for the repair but not only did they replace the guitar, but they did it for free.My brothers girlfriend has the exact same model of guitar that also started fretting out after about a year. Seems to be a thing with that particular model, I made them aware of it and they seemed to have appreciated that as well so that they could report it to the manufacturer or simply stop stocking that particular model. All-around stand up guys, I tell ya. Im so grateful for their level of care and professionalism. You just wouldnt get that at Guitar Center. Shop local, folks.

Excellent guitar service and repair! The staff is highly knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. I have had both minor adjustments and full setups done on my guitars here and both were treated with equal care and attention. A great store and resource for beginners and experts alike. They offer a nice, personal alternative to the generic big box music store experience.

Great place for guitar accessories and guitars

My sons have been taking guitar and piano lessons here for the past 5 years. We started here when Dennis was the owner. You really need to find the right music teacher to keep your kids interested and having fun. We have been so fortunate to have patient instructors. Dennis moved and Collin took over and he has done an amazing job managing the store and the lessons, having lots of new instrument, planning events, gig nights, recitals etc! He is just doing a lot with the shop! We would never want to be anywhere else. Our music teacher is Lyle and he is great with my sons. This is the first mom and pop music shop in SCV and we need to support this place! I recommend KGMC to all my friends and they all love this place too.

I came here thinking I needed to get the nut replaced on my guitar. I left it with Colin (a.k.a. the man of many rings.) After he looked it over, he called and said that it just needed to be adjusted and didnt need the nut replaced. I was impressed by his honesty and skill. I was fully prepared to pay for a new nut, and he couldve easily done just what I asked. Instead he used his years of experience to assess the problem and explain to me what it really needed (which was a cheaper repair.) This shop has earned a lifelong customer.

If you play, need something intonated, or need instruction,(like me), Keyboard Galleria is the place!!! I’m a disabled veteran, and always get treated with respect!!!!! There is a boutique room with high end player ready guitars and basses. It sets Keyboard Galleria apart from all the cookie cutter shops. Now, as for as instruction goes, Instructors are seasoned players, one of which has done tours and studio sessions with top performers!!! I actually got a class with one, (Brent Pasche)!!!! Thanks again to Brent!!!! Thanks to all at Keyboard Galleria!!!! Colin H. runs store smoothly, and in his own right a great player!! Good and honest place. Great opinion on all instruments bought my drum kit here two years ago and am a returning customer for all of my questions and needs. The friendly feel gives it that true local music store feel with employees you can trust.

I needed a new tuner for my acoustic guitar and instead of having to buy a set, they hooked me up with a single! They even wiped down my sad, dusty guitar. Great place, great people! Ill be going there from now on!

Poor selection of sheet music for the piano. Staff would not take the time to recommend something. He pointed to the sheet music and disappeared.

Ordered a guitar online from this store. Came exactly as described at a great deal, KGMC even threw in some goodies. Excellent communication and very friendly, just give them a call!

Useless store, called atleast 20 times within an hour from 2-4pm and left a voicemail the first time I called at 2pm and no one ever got back to me or picked up the phone, Ive been to the store enough times to know it isnt that busy.I can tell you, Ill never shop here or refer anyone to this place.
