This is such a wonderful preschool. We moved from a big city where we had excellent preschools, and frankly, we were worried about finding a comparable one in such a small town. We were looking for a classic preschool that was both play-based AND not afraid of -- gasp -- teaching kids their letters and numbers. Selkirk more than surpassed our hopes and expectations. The teachers are warm and loving, and they foster an environment where fun, creativity, nature, and learning are all valued. The facility is great -- 4 acres with a forest for frequent hikes and nature excursions. We feel so lucky to have found Selkirk School, and cant recommend it preschool highly enough.

Our daughter just spent her first year here in the pre-school with Ms Kathleen, and is going to be in pre-K with Ms Sharon next year. Kathleen is an excellent teacher, and Daisy loves going to school and exploring the world with her.We are all excited for next year. =)
