The teachers and administrators at Hearts and Hands have created a safe, caring, and loving environment for children. Our son started at Hearts and Hands two months ago and absolutely loves going to “school” every day. We looked at a few different locations before enrolling him in the two-year-old program, but after observing his positive experience at the school visit, it was obvious that Hearts and Hands was the best place for him. Because of Mrs. Cathryn’s loving nature, he was able to quickly bond with her. On our car rides home, he tells us about having fun with his friends and teachers, especially Mrs. Cathryn. We have also noticed him singing his ABCs and pointing out colors (which he did not do until starting here) and practicing good manners like “Thank you” and “Excuse me.” The Hearts and Hands teachers and administrators have done an outstanding job creating an inclusive environment where children are acknowledged by name at the beginning and closing of each day, and we are grateful for the care and guidance they have shown our son.

After my first daycare experiences in the Bay Area I was not sure I would find a place that truly cared for my sons well being as much as I did. I am more than pleased with the level of care and professionalism we receive at Hearts and Hands. Jackie and Margaret understand how to care for children and collaborating with parents. I wish our family found this daycare sooner.

Such a great school! The teachers are great! After attending for a few months, my son comes home and says things like, “my pleasure.” Kids are happy and enjoy their friends. My favorite things they’ve learned from hearts and hands is the arrangement of bible and Christmas songs. I LOVE hearing the their little voices signing all the classics.For working parents, the hours are perfect for us, open as early as 7:30 and open until 6:30pm. Also, no additional fee or added costs to help potty train.

So grateful for this school & amazing staff. I am a returning parent (my son who is now 12 attended from 2-5 years old) and as soon as my second son turned 2 I knew I’d be bringing him back! The director- Ms. Jackie was his teacher and when I heard she was now the director I was even more excited! I knew if she was managing the school with the same compassion, kindness, and patience as she was her classroom this was the place I wanted to have my kids go to!I love the events they do from Christmas in the park decorating, spirit weeks, performances, Mother’s Day celebration, Father’s Day, etc... all of the teachers greet you with a smile and you can tell they love their job & the kids :)I’m also happy to share that all of 2019 my son did not get sick! Clean space and they make sure to enforce healthy habits such as hand washing at drop off and pick off!

Hearts and Hands in San Jose has wonderful staff and director. Teachers are compassionate, very understanding and kind. They care for the kids as their own. I am happy I found this place for my 3 year old boy.

I love this preschool. My daughter started attending here in August. She had just turned two. In just the few months that she has been attending the preschool her vocabulary has increased, her interest in potty training and I know this sounds weird but she eats apples now! All the teachers have been a blessing to our family. The Director is very supportive of my once a week calls to check in on her. The preschool holds fun events for the community and the families. This preschool is GREAT!

I really like Hearts and Hands San Jose, the teachers are kind and knowledgeable. The children are happy, they are learning a variety of concepts, the teachers explain materials at child level which I like and upon going outside they are engaged with children which is important. Social and emotionally the teachers are there for the children helping to guide and insure the quality care they deserve. I would recommend SanJose Hearts and Hands to anyone looking for childcare.

What can I say about this school..... Ms. Jackie the director is so amazing! She is 100% dedicated to her staff and to all the families. Every teacher at this center is sooo loving and passionate about what they do. There are always fun events and programs to go to throughout the year that are mostly on Saturdays which I love because it allows for working parents to be able to attend. My daughter Meah just loved Miss Bobbie!! Even now that she is in second grade she still talks about her and how much she loves her. I can honestly say that each teacher at Hearts and Hands made an impact on my daughters life that will stay with her for a life time! Thank you to all you wonderful ladies!!!

I have had the pleasure of meeting the director Ms. Jackie. Ms. Jackie is a very heartfelt and humble women. Her warmth and kindness follows the Hearts Hands value of Love. I have also observed Ms. Jackie’s guidance with her staff and how she has groomed great leaders for the present and future of Hearts and Hands.

The teachers are very caring and knowledgeable at HH preschool - San Jose. My son learnt letters, numbers, time and science. In addition, he made good friends and learnt social norms. He likes the teachers Ms. Mayra and Ms. Bobbie. We also enjoyed a variety of celebrations that involved all the families.Overall, we are very happy with the school. Our kid is well-prepared for the kindergarden and has had an amazing experience here.
