Bert M. and the team are great. Very knowledgeable and always friendly. And dont tell the owner, but this is one of the top five guitar stores in the US. Way cooler than Norms in Southern California. Way friendlier than Rudys in NYC. Much better selection of parts & pieces than Rumble Seat in Nashville.

I recieved a Bass Guitar from a friend, and had some questions about the instrument. I was assisted by a Mr. Dave Zimmerman. Absolutely amazing customer service. He spent at least an hour answering my questions about the instrument and general questions about accoustic guitars. I was tremendously impressed with the attention I received. I would highly recommend Guitar Showcase for your Guitar needs.

Love this place! Used to have a used area on another building where it is haunted. You may get lucky enough to catch it running along the hanging guitars pushing them and letting them sway. The main building has the coolest selection of high end collections of guitars that will dazzle you.

The staff are so knowledgeable. I brought my Taylor here many moons ago. I still stop by and try out the latest guitar. I hope Covid hasnt affect the staff too much.

I bought a strat from them about a year before covid at that time I asked to have the tech there to do a set up (expecting to pay for the service) the tech refused, i had to take my strat to another shop. I later had an issue with the guitar (non set up related) and they refused to help with this as well. I had to go to another store to get help getting fender to fix the problem. My problem got fixed by fender, but the service and after sales support from show case has declined over the years.

Staff was knowledgeable and fun to be around, as well as engaged and very helpful.

I was helped right away in selecting two Ukeleles as gifts. He was really patient, explained about instruments and easy to talk to.

Purchased an amplifier from third party. Wasn’t sure if it was in working condition so, I took it to guitar showcase hoping they would test it for me. Without any hesitation, “Aaron” plugged in and assured me it was fine. Thought that was so cool. He could have told me to kick rocks. I am forever grateful!

We purchased a guitar online from Guitar Showcase for my fathers Christmas gift. It was his dream guitar and we were a bit overwhelmed in our search to find what he wanted. Tom assisted us and he was so great to work with. He was happy to answer any questions we had and we could tell that he genuinely cared. The guitar arrived quickly and was packaged very well which was reassuring since it was traveling to the east coast. My father loves the guitar! I started taking guitar lessons along with my older sister at Guitar Showcase in 1979.(in the old house on the corner at Foxworthy) Around 81 I would get a guitar of my own. I remember my teacher suggesting I get a used Jaguar, Jazzmaster or Mustang that they had in the store.(They were $150-250 bucks at the time) But they were all old worn out antiques, so I got a brand new red Kramer with a single humbucker instead. (LOL! EVH RIP)Ive been coming to Guitar Showcase for over 40 yrs. You can find better deals elsewhere But you wont find a better selection of inventory, friendly knowledgable staff or customer service like at Guitar Showcase.

Ive been coming here for years now. My experience has always been great. Even when I just go in to look around. Ive done many trades and new purchases. The staff have always been helpful. I have bought new and used gear here numerous times and Ive never had a negative experience here. The wait times vary depending on what youre purchasing and how busy they are. But Ive always appreciated that they take the time to talk with their customers about the gear and answer any questions. I have also brought in my guitars and basses to be repaired. They have always been honest about it. I once brought in a bass I wanted the action adjusted on and the tech there, Kelly, told me it was not a good idea and explained why. He couldve easily done the job and charged me, but he decided to give me honest feedback instead of just taking my money. Anyways, I could go on but the point is this: this place has some of the best customer service Ive ever experienced. Highly recommend it.Also, to those who might be concerned about the limited selection: theyll special order gear for customers. BUT, I suggest looking through their used gear. There are some great finds there. As any experienced musician will tell you: gear doesnt HAVE TO be new.

Great guitars, great service. Highly recommended. I had been shopping for a Fender Telecaster for several weeks. All the Fenders I played (cheap and pricey) were set up very well and sounded as best as possible. I was able to really get a feel for what to expect in the guitar I was looking for.I tried similar models at other stores, they simply didnt compare in feel and sound. Go to Guitar Showcase before you decide to purchase elsewhere.

I went there on a sunday to look for a new acoustic electric guitar. The customer service is outstanding. They give me the background and history of specific brands and educate me on the type of sound each guitar produces. Ive learned a lot more about guitars that weekend. Also, I got to test out different type of guitars with a no-pressure sales. I was told that they want me to pick the right guitar and that takes time, that process cant be rushed. Thats what I definitely love about this place. Im still looking for that right guitar myself. But Im a customer for life!

By far the best selection of guitars Ive seen but hard to get a good bargain compared to other shops I visited.

Staff can be a mixed bag, but they do let you play the gear and help you find the right stuff. It can get a bit hectic in there and when you finally know what you want to buy, youll be waiting 15min+ just to pay up. Ive had to walk out twice ready to buy, and just could spend more time waiting to get a hold of someone.I wished they had a broader selection of electrics. If you want Fender/Gibson then its great, but if you want something a little less manufactured there just a few PRSs or hope on something random on consignment being there.Not a great spot to sell gear either. Takes forever, and the rates are OK-ish.

I purchased an Epiphone Lucille from them on ebay and unfortunately during shipping the pickguard was damaged but Guitar Showcase went through hell to get me a replacement pickguard because Epiphone is notoriously difficult to get replacement parts from but they did it and sent a brand new pickguard for my Lucille to my home at no cost and they were delightful to deal with I would recommend that anyone buy a guitar from the Guitar Showcase they really put in the extra effort and they only sell top quality merchandise
