Ive been at this school for 6 years and its safe to say that the experience was amazing. The lunch ladies are pretty rude to the students (me) sometimes, but its because they are doing their job and we usually dont listen to them. Other than that, I love Matsumoto.

Im in sixth grade and have been in this school since first. It has taught me a lot and I love it here. I reccoment going to this school. The teachers are very nice and helpful to students and do whatever the could to have the students improve. Although one small flaw is lunch. The lunch ladies something could embarrass the students and be a little mean, but we know they arent try to. Some are very nice though. Other than that this school is awesome.

Matsumoto is a good school. Get ready for your kids to work hard. It is a traditional bare bones elementary school. They focus on the core of what makes a school curriculum. Teachers do a good job in providing feedback and they are open to answering questions that parents may have. As to the administrator in chief, the current principle will be missed and his superman Halloween costume will always be remembered. It would be a pleasure to have him back if it doesnt work out at Leyva. The one thing I would like to see improve is traffic enforcement. Id like to see more crossing guards or traffic enforcement after-school when kids cross the school exit at Mackin Woods Ln.

The campus is good. Teachers are okay. Way too much homework. I was up until past 11:00 when I was in 6th grade here just doing one of my 3-4 projects at the time. I learned a decent amount, but the experience is very poor. But, considering the other public options around here, it’s one of the best in Evergreen.

Honestly one of the best elementary schools out there. I am grateful that I was able to attend this for school a couple of years. 6th grade was probably my favorite year, I had the best teacher and classmates. The teachers and staff are always helpful and want us to become successful. -- 10/10. Also, Comptonites for the win !!

Tom Matsumoto is a great school! I made tons of very funny and caring friends! Its a chance to show your talents! I feel very comfortable in a school like this! :)))

My years at Tom Matsumoto are filled with many memories. Matsumoto is a great school. The staff and teachers are so caring and kind. The only negative point I have about Tom Matsumoto was the lunch. They gave so little options and easily ran out of all the good ones. 6th grade was definitely my favorite year of all and Go Comptonites!

19 years of great memories for my three kids. Im very thankful they were at this school. Great kids and great parents.

I hate principal jim sherman and he will hate you too unless you are asian and drive a nice car, do yourself and your child a favor and skip out on this place. horrible first year of school experience for my child we are not coming back here eversincerely priscilla wooley sanchez
