Great school, but the pick up for students after school is ridiculous.The method of having a pass or not having a pass to pick up your child isnt so convenient. For those of you who walk and pick up your children and forget your pass...GUESS WHAT..better luck next time, you will have to go to the end of the line after all the waiting you just did to pick up your child. Also, their way of dealing of a small complains such as these is horrible.

The process to apply to this school is ridiculous they must be internally influenced by who gets into their school. I’ve been on the waitlist and i started out on number 27 then went up all the way to 17.. then they had another “lottery” I went back to 27 and all of a sudden I’m lower on the waitlist with no more lottery. How is that possible? I’m extremely disappointed.

My daughter has completed her first year at this school as a kindergartner and from start to finish we loved the staff, curriculum, healthiness of there food, and most of all how professional and genuine the entire school dealt with diversity. My daughter is African American and Nottoway Indian, and even in 2018 we still worry about how she will be effected by others prejudices throughout her life. This school is perfect for any child to attend that has any racial, or socioeconomical situation and that child will thrive and be treated fairly and be given every opportunity to become successful. Kalaya loves everyone there.
