My child has been a student at Ms. Rubys Kumon center for about 5 years now, and this has been an outstanding part of his educational experience. Ms. Ruby is truly focused on the success of her students; this is not just a business -- she has real passion for the Kumon method and her students. Consequently, we also focus on staying on course in the program. That directly translates into math achievement. At the same time, Ms. Ruby is so genuinely interested in our sons life and development that she makes us feel like she is a very important person in the village helping to raise my child.

My daughter has been going to Kumon since Kindergarten and she completed all of the Kumon levels in math by the end of middle school. This is all possible only because of the dedicated and diligent efforts, coaching, proper pacing by the center head Ruby Vaswani and her staff. Ruby is extremely accessible to parents, articulating and setting right expectations about the kids progress and works with the kids to make sure they get successful outcomes. As I write this, advanced math and calculus are my daughters favorite subjects in high school that she is doing very well in. Thank you, Ruby!

Kumon is great. Ms. Ruby is amazing. This is an award winning program and Ms. Ruby is a top notch educator.Kumon isnt a homework help shop. Rather, it is a place to solidify your childs academic foundation so that a strong structure can be built on top. Think of it more as a second school for your child that specializes in reading and math.Your childs first visit will be a test of their current skills then receive small workbooks starting at just under their abilities to gain trust and self esteem. Kumon classes are held two evenings per week. Each time your child attends, he or she will work onsite in their little workbooks until they finish to build accountability. When your son or daughter leaves for the night, he or she will have a homework packet to complete, one for each day until they return to Kumon.Kumon takes breaks that coincide with your childs school schedule. Ms. Ruby is flexible with the workload for your child. And if you have to miss a day or two due to vacation or illness, Ms. Ruby can assign homework to keep your child on track or skip it so you can enjoy a break. The work will resume when your child returns to Kumon.This resource is a great way to support your child academically and see them rise above their peers. If your child is struggling in school, again, Ms. Ruby and her team will help shore up what they are missing/misundersstanding and help them succeed.Ms. Ruby and Kumon are priceless.
