This has been the best school by far my son has attended. Every semester is always a beautiful experience with each grade, teacher, class. Super family oriented which I truly value to my heart. The staff have been nothing but amazing and supportive and I truly trust them with my childβs safety. As long as I can afford it, Iβm making sure my son stays here until 8th grade. I wish it went onto high school πThis will definitely be a very sad goodbye once my son is officially done with middle school. They are always here to help you with everything and anything.
We are committed to a safe and fun learning environment. We strive to improve everyday. We are dedicated to making Catholic education affordable while maintaining smaller class size. Our loving and caring Dominican heritage runs strong in these walls. There is a sincere love of the school community here.
This is a wonderful school, small community that I am fortunate to be welcomed into and it offers so much to my son. I have family members and friends who attended this school and they are all successful. I love that they have a great sports program. I love that they have a multi-age literacy program, the only school in the archdiocese to offer such, and it has helped my son develop his reading skills. He loves the Reading Club (as the students call it). The tuition is kept low and the volunteer opportunities are plenty. The principal is loving and understanding. The teachers give quality teaching. I am so glad I chose St. James for my sons Catholic school education.
Same Order of Nuns that were there since inception, the Dominicans. Back in 68, they were trying out new teaching methods (SRA), and the new math. They took very good care of me and even arranged for me to have special services in pronunciation (Im bilingual). Cant thank them enough. Unfortunately, the religious organization hasnt given them them the recognition they deserve.
I was a student there for 8 years. No boys. Strict.
Im in that school.I have a lot of friends there.
