I have two kids there and I love this school. The teachers care, the curriculum is engaging, and the service is excellent. This site is everything I could reasonably hope for in a day care center.

They are very loving and will take care of your children

The staff kiss you children. The center director is this fabulous woman until she recieves your money. Once she is paid her attitude changes n her smiles dissolve. The image this center portrays is one of a cash cow they have had 2 state level infractions in one month for being physically ruff with children one instance the teacher picked up a girl off the ground holding her by her arms yelling in her face. And another instance where a teacher was mistreating a child this childs parent was looking unbeknown by the teacher and they pulled there children out of the center right away. IN MY OPINION THIS IS A COMMERCIAL CENTER IN OTHER WORDS IT JUST LOOKS GOOD. I sat in the center for a full day n outside of the gate observing the teachers and they failed. I am a mother who UNDERSTANDS fully the difficulty of watching children but if its not the job for you so not do it period. While observing I watched on infant climb up on a table on a concrete ground and fall head first with out a teacher around until they herd the child screams. OH I FORGET one teacher completely forgot one child in the playground. Too much unsafe and unsanitary and physical contact with babies and children. DID I MENTION TEACHERS KISS YOUR CHILD. WITH SO MANY DIEASES IN THE WORLD THIS SHOULD BE AN ABSOLUTE NEGATIVE. just remember on the outside they look well put together but the inner working of this place is a parents nightmare. We love, love, love La Petite Rancho Penasquitos!! My daughter was there from 7 months until 5 years old. While there, my daughter absolutely thrived and left well prepared for Kindergarten. We loved the hands-on artwork, music, dance/movement and other experiences (the tactile exposure so necessary for this age group. No tablets or smartphones here!); the opportunities to participate in the food the children would eat later that day or the next: stone soup, banana bread, blueberry muffins, pizza, fruit salad; the backyard (outdoor classroom) so children could have time outside learning. Loved, loved, loved the Fall Festival and the Easter egg hunt. Like most of the parents, my husband and I are working professionals. Many parents and families are also “repeat” customers/families who have enrolled more than child at LPA, or who bring back their Kindergarteners during school break for reunions with their teachers and friends. Like any first-time mom, I, too, at first was wary about the physical display of affection towards my little one. But in the end, we were so grateful for it because it just demonstrated how much the teachers really care for your child. How could someone invested in your child not hug and kiss them? Especially to soothe tears? And at the end of the day, how much harm can be done by a quick peck on the cheek or top of the head? Your child would likely catch more germs from sitting in the grocery cart, or from a relative intent on kissing them on the mouth. Leadership and the overall atmosphere of love and quality care start at the top – Ms. Chrissie, Ms. Kristin and Ms. Jamie do an exceptional job. So, don’t hesitate – LPA is the place to be!

They just adore my kids my daughter still cries when I drop her off its not because they are mistreating her she is just used to her mom and its only been 3 months my son is 4 months and he just lights up when he sees Ms. Norma I can tell she genuinely loved him great job La Petite!😋😜😝

The first day I left my son at La Petite Academy, I was as upset as he was, but within five minutes after I left, the director sent me a message letting me know my son had calmed down and was doing fine. As we have continued there, the staff has continued to have that same level of communication, support and flexibility with not only my son but me as a parent as well. His teachers Ms. Christine and Miss Sara are always cognizant of his needs. When we started he was very wary around the other children and had delayed speech. They not only work to include him in the group and encourage his speech, but actively ask me to ask his speech therapist for ways they can continue to work with him during their time with him. They have also recognized his strengths and encouraged and challenged him in the areas hes interested in. During his time at La Petite Academy his speech and social skills have improved dramatically and I give much of the credit to their staff. There are few people I would trust with my son as much as I trust them. I couldnt recommend them more.

Could not be happier. My daughters have been going to La Petite for several years now, and I love what this school does for them. My oldest daughter is 4 years old and has been attending since she was 1, and my youngest (1 yr) just started attending too. The staff here at the La Petite Carmel Mtn. Rd. is absolutely outstanding. From the managers Kelli and Latwonya, to the amazing teachers- notably Clarissa, Danielle and Kim, the staff is the heart of any school or business, and they make this place amazing.I knew when I first arrived and felt the calm and relaxed demeanor of the staff, saw the kids playing well together, smiling and hearing my daughter tell me about all that she did and learned- that this was the right choice (and notice I said learned- that is a biggie for me).I am not ususally a big review writer, but you ladies make such a difference in my little lady, and I wanted to share that with everyone.
