Highly recommend MusiKey for piano lessons. Our son has been a student for almost 3 years and he has enjoyed the weekly lessons with his talented and very patient instructor Stu Shames. Together they selected an appropriate piece of music for his level at the time and he was a regular performer at the several recitals. Very accommodating when schedule changes are needed and a great value of the fees charged. During the pandemic they adapted and continued via FaceTime..was still effective.Please give them a try.

My kids had started their music lessons with MusiKey couple of years ago. They started with playing guitar and after couple of months they switched to piano. For the entire time, I see my kids excited about their music. MusiKeys instructors are very knowledgeable and passionate about their students. They have creative approaches for keeping kids engaged and practicing independently. In general the company is very well organized in coordination and communications, as well as in creation of lager group events like recitals--which keeps kids motivated and challenged. Weve had Seth teach our 6-year-old piano for about 6 months now. Were seeing great progress and more importantly a strong rapport being developed between them. The books Seth chose and his teaching methods are amazing and particularly suitable for this age group. I really recommend this place.

My son took piano and guitar lessons with Nathan Lackey for 8 years (from 8 yrs to 15 yrs). I have so many positive things to say about Nathan I wasnt even sure where to start! But Ill start by stating that Nathan is a wonderful teacher, not only because he taught my son the mechanics behind playing both the piano and guitar, but also because he introduced music theory along the way. Thanks to Nathans teachings, my son has been one of the main piano accompanists for his High School choir. My son would actually still be taking lessons with Nathan had Nathan not moved out of the area. Nathan has made a huge positive impact and I would highly recommend him to anyone needing lessons, whether in person or remotely.

My son is learning ukulele with Ms. Margie from Sally piano music. She is the kindest and most patient teacher I have met. Ms. Margie always responds to my sons questions (he has a million of them), and always tries to guide the question to a music or ukulele related conversation. She encourages and inspires little kid deep from her heart with the most sincerity. She customizes the choice of music pieces to attract my sons interest. We all love her and look forward to her lesson every week.

We have Mrs. Margie Van Nostrand as our sons piano teacher through Sally, and we couldnt be happier. She is a dedicated, patient piano teacher and our son has improved so much under her tutelage. We have been working with Sally Piano for over a year now . We used to take lessons in San Diego and recently moved to the Irvine area and found out they offer lessons in the are and we were so excited that we can keep working with them. They have a great music program and our son takes guitar lessons and our daughter takes Piano and Voice. our teachers are so wonderful with our kids and they try to make each lesson fun for them. They have been learning so many songs over the past few months and they are getting ready for their summer recital. Recitals are very well organized and at each recital, they have trophies and prizes for all the kids which keep the kids motivated. They also offer the Piano Guild exams and certifications and we are looking to start that for our kids this year ...

My 5 year old daughter naturally loves to play the piano. She started when she was 4 and had tried two other teachers before we met Sally and they were not able to help my daughter to keep her focused and have fun /enjoy the piano lesson. With Sally, my daughter became excited every week to go to piano class and practices at home on her own. Sally has a way of inspiring my daughter to love playing the piano even more. My daughter is always excited for the recitals (they have 3 this year), which is very helpful to promote self confidence at young age. Sheri, another teacher with Sally, is now my daughters piano teacher that comes in our house. She is also very good and very patient. My daughter likes the fact that Sheri makes her create her own music and plays it on the next class. Both are highly recommended!

My 8 year old daughter has been learning piano at Sally Piano Music for the past two years. She started as a beginner but she has progressed a lot. My daughter loves the Halloween recital cz all the kids wear costumes. We also go to the Jan-Feb recitals which many students perform. We always have fun watching kids play piano. This year there was couple of kids only 4 year old playing at the recital. I recommend that the parents be present for the first few classes to learn how to practice with the kids at home.

My daughter has been taking lessons through Sally Piano for almost a year now and has gone from not knowing how to play at all to becoming pretty proficient at playing some difficult pieces. I like how there are frequent recitals so that kids can get opportunities to practice in front of an audience. The instructors are extremely experienced and good at helping develop piano skills. So far the entire experience has been excellent.

We have had a very good experience with Sally Piano. Sally and our instructor have been quite accommodating with the schedule. We often need to change lesson times or take time off when we were away. My daughter has been taking lessons at Sally Piano Music with instructor Jimmy Hwang for over 3 years and we couldnt be more pleased with the results. My 9-year old plays the piano beautifully and has advanced through the lessons faster than I expected. There are two recitals throughout the year with Sally, and an additional two with Jimmy, so plenty of performance opportunities to build and nurture confidence and stage presence along with musical talent. Our six children take either piano or voice lessons. The instructors are very good with motivating children and as music teachers. They come to our home on Fridays after the school week which is very convenient. The pricing is affordable for our large family. The children have progressed to the level that they now enjoy playing and performing in recitals.

A great music school! The school operation is quite efficient and the lessons scheduled are very thoughtful! My daughter loves opera and piano. She was firstly instructed by Michiru from this March. Michiru is an excellent & professional instructor, very nice, my daughter has improved a lots in her singing & piano playing. Due to suffering the heavy traffic on a long drive to the downtown studio, my daughter is now instructed by Mary, nicely, excellent & professional as well, doing lessons in home. My two sons take lessons though Sally Piano Music, one plays violin and is taught by Alicia and she is amazing. He has ADHD and Autism and has been able to learn how to play quickly and really enjoys his weekly lessons. Alicia is amazing with him, and very knowlegeable about vilolin as she taught at the college level!! My other son is learning piano with Salli and she is also amazing with him. She is always sweet and he is learning so much in such a short period of time! For my son to actually talk about liking his teacher and looking forward to his lessons with Salli it speaks for what a great teacher and person she is. She’s funny, down to earth and truly very sweet. This has been the best choice for us as an extra cirricular activity. I will most likely start my 3 year old in the next couple of years as well!

My 4 years old has been taking piano lessons with dela and we could not be happier . She has inspired my son and has been making the lessons really fun for him .
