I was skeptical of this school at first. Im glad to see how much my daughter has grown and learned from the classes. The mistake some parents make is coming in with the mindset that this is some summer camp type place where you just drop the kid off and go about your day. No. Your child has to really show passion for acting singing or modeling. Not just show an interest but actually have the obvious signs of a gift. Also, with anything worth while you have to be willing to take a risk and invest money into your craft regardless of what you do. Amari has made some good friends. Not only that but at the competition Tower Talent got one hundred percent results for follow ups. That means call backs to some, but to see that in person tells me that these people know what theyre doing. If thats not common sense then I dont know what is.Another note, regardless of if they ask for money up front or not, payment plans are definitely available. For everything we have done I have been.able to through payments. Just sayin 🙃☺👇

Tower Talent is not a talent agency. It is an acting studio that teaches acting class. Tower Talent profits by selling acting classes to students and legal guardians of minors. It cannot guarantee employment, nor work on anyones behalf in the capacity of an employment agency. Agencies that represent clients for entertainment must by California law be a certified employment agency; anything else is not a true talent agency. If youre looking for a school this place may or may not be right for you. It is not a talent agency. It is pay to play. They call it an audition but it isnt. When confronted with questions 3 employees didnt know how to respond naturally and defaulted to the script theyre taught. However not very believably making me wonder just how much help they could provide teaching acting skills. Since most people have no media experience they will be preyed upon by businesses like this. If youre looking for a casting agency this is not it. The owner will tell the truth on this forum but he has his or her staff lie on the phone and in the office.

This is an update on my previous review. After the wait, Dawn were able to give us the call back and gave us the good news!! Due to so many calls they were receiving, I realized that our call probably was getting intercepted with other calls coming in to tower of talent. They were just really busy. That same day, we are invited to meet with Dawn at her studio. Dawn is great and really amazing. My son was very comfortable with her. I can see, that she is really great with kids. We are very excited and looking forward working with her and with the rest of her team.

My daughter loves the Audition Techniques class she is currently enrolled in at Tower Talent. We have received excellent advice from Megan and Jenn. Someone is always available to answer my questions whether it be via email, phone, or in person. Jenn also coordinated the Faces photo shoot for us. Yes, it is expensive, but it is worth it. Jenn helped select the outfits, and the photographer has someone to do hair and makeup. They changed her hairstyle for each outfit, and we drove to three different locations. It was a long, fun day. In addition, while they dont guarantee your child will get a callback, Tower Talent schedules auditions with top modeling and acting agencies twice a month for their students. My daughter received a callback after her second audition. Everything went well, and she now has an agent! Its only been four months since she started her classes. I highly recommend this school.

They were so nice and sweet with my daughter. it was her first time auditioning and Dione gave her honest,firm opinion and I respect that. She showed great constructive criticism and they really stay in touch with their people. It made my daughter want to go back and we hope to work with them in the future

The staff at Tower Talent Studio West is beyond wonderful!Because I am new to this industry, I was a little apprehensive, but after meeting with Dawn, I felt more at ease. After only a few months of classes at Tower Talent my daughter signed with two agents and booked her first job! Mimi and Jenn are always willing to take the time out of their busy schedule to answer any and all of my questions (and I have a lot of them). I truly appreciate all they have done to help my daughter and believe this is just the beginning of the skills they will teach her to last a lifetime.

My son chose to pursue acting after meeting the Tower Talent staff at an event that we were attending. We drive from North County every week because the amazing classes and skilled teachers are the best in San Diego. My son is confident preforming in front of an audience and extremely comfortable speaking with adults. He is learning so much at age 7 from ad-libbing, comedy, memorization, script writing, auditioning, modeling and more. The staff is super friendly, supportive and encouraging and Shewan is a wonderful teacher.

Terrible experience. They told me to call them the next day after the audition from 1:45-2:00. Dawn said that she would tell us at that time if my daughter got another audition and would have to be there that day between 5-9. I called at 1:45 and Stephanie told me that Dawn was on the other line and would get back to me as soon as she could. Dawn tried me back at 2:32, I was unavailable. I tried her back and spoke to Stephanie at 2:54, 4:17 and lastly at 6:15 to tell them not to bother ever calling back. Very unprofessional bunch that cant even keep a scheduled phone call. Who would want to work with them. Not to mention that they broke a poor little innocent kids heart that was so excited, waiting to hear from them,. She even went to great lengths to put it in her Moms calendar so that she wouldnt forget to call while she was at work! These people will just ask you for money... BEWARE! Try Franks in Carlsbad, no $ up front!

I signed up for classes and I had to move. I faxed in all required documentation to cancel my membership within the time period declared on my contract. I have sent in my documentation multiple times. It has been over 6 months since I canceled and they have issued me no refund, I have gotten nothing but the run around from their staff and I have no doubt that they do not intend to ever make good on on their contract. Dont sign up with these people!!! Big mistake!

I am a model and I inquired with this agency but come to find out that they are a scam!!!! A TRUE AND LEGIT AGENCY WILL NOT AND I REPEAT WILL NEVER EVER ASK YOU FOR MONEY UP FRONT!!!A legit modeling agency will have you sign a contract and will take a certain percentage from you which is between 10-30% and the rest is all yours. Watch out! I almost gave in. They wanted 500$ dollars from me to supposedly audition. Its a waste of time and money. Dont do it.

Honestly when I first came in to audition I was told they only accepted a number of students for certain classes for each term as I thought so that’s why it was an audition so as I thought and they can only accept certain people but after I made the audition I started becoming suspicious because everybody I auditioned with made the audition like that whole room of people I was in that room with that day made the audition but I tried to blow it off maybe everybody had talent which is totally fine it was just a weird scenario to me and so I was happy I was so excited I was ready to take on modeling and acting, well modeling for the first part, I had to put like 500 upfront to even start And I get that because it’s a school, and I’m in the military so I’m mobile so I was only wanting to commit to only doing this for a couple months so I was going for the cheapest program but dawn suggested the two year idk why I’m military and I was not able to commit as she was aware of ! so she just goes over the contract and I signed but I seen I was in a two year contract which she recommended but my military situation I could not commit to again and so instead I was signed up on two years of a program and Idk why but anyway I was going to certain classes I only did like two classes a week the most because of my working schedules and all of a sudden this long two week break from mlk day approached and I was upset because I only went to a total of like maybe. 5 classes in that first two weeks so when the break was back So I noticed the classes I was taking was being repeatedly stuff I’ve already learned and I started to get upset and noticed one things not right there was kids different people auditioning everyday when in the beginning I was told that they were only accepting a select number of students for that one audition so as I thought and so and on top of that why tf did I pay 500$ to start and only take classes 5 of them in a two week period and then break suddenly comes and it’s back to square freaking one !!!!!! Which she did not notify me of ! And I may be military but I know when someone is trying to waste my time and my hard earned money so they aren’t getting a penny from me anymore ! The classes are a waste of time ! Unprofessional I couldn’t even take it serious everybody was just joking around fooling around and will not be paying them anymore idc what contract is signed it’s a fake contract ! I’m not paying all that money for my time to be wasted I refused I’ll have a lawyer ready! Then talking about I’m on some special kind of scholarship because I’ve gotten new orders and I couldn’t commit to the agency so she told me to bring in my orders and I can quit for proof but she wanted me to still pay for the whole thing as if I been and been doing this when I only committed for two weeks ! And i refused to waste my hard earned money on something that’s not benefiting me everybody claims they specialize in this and that and hardly have any social media followings at high numbers it’s too sketchy to me and I’ll never go back so this is my expirience and I just won’t be wasting my hard earned coins here anymore !

What can I say about Studio West? When I first started I was a little skeptical but now I feel as though in the short time I have attended this school in their runway class I have learned so much! I LOVE TOWER TALENT! I have been with this company for almost two years and it has been the best two years of my life. Over there I made so many lifelong friends who I would have never met if I was at school or spending my time elsewhere. The staff is amazing! They are so nice, friendly, and care about you including your success. I am enrolled in many classes and the teachers really do care about making you great at the art. Jim, Shewan, Whitney, Amelia, and Nichole are more than just teachers to me, they are more like family. Every day I am always looking forward to going to the classes and I get more than just how to be better at the art, but I have fun. Tower Talent has not only improved my skills in the art, but also improved me as a person. Shewan and Jim have taught me how to be confident with myself, humble, friendly, and so much more. They really changed my life for the better so I would like to say a huge THANK YOU to them too. During these past two years that I have been there, I learned a lot and gained experience in the industry that I would not have gotten anywhere else. I have done short films, vocal performances, and fashion shows all thanks to Tower Talent! In the end words cannot describe how much I love the program and its people, but more of the moments that I shared with this great community. Okay so I tried out for tower talent cause I wanted to be a actress and model and when I audition it went well and I waited about 2 days and they said I got in and I was soooo excited but then they said we had to pay $500 for it and I was hell no 🚫 and heres the worst part the prices get higher and higher and they barley answer your calls when they told me to call at 3:45 I called at that exact time and they were too busy to pick up the phone and you have to call them multiple times which is a waste of my time so I would not recommend this 😡

TOWER TALENT RECEIVES A STANDING OVATIONI am so glad I kept an open mind upon arriving to Tower Talent Studio West. The experience all began with the woman who booked me by the name of Karen. She was very sweet on the phone and even more wonderful in person. Although I had a feeling that there would be some cost involved, I still wanted to attend the audition, so I had my commercial memorized, headshot/resume in hand, and of course, my open mind.When I first arrived it was pretty much how I expected it do be. There were a lot of people waiting to hear a speaker and then proceed with the auditions and interviews. What I didnt expect was a phenomenal runway and huge open area to rehearse scenes or run lines. Not to mention there are classrooms throughout the different levels of the building. Ive been to companies of this kind before, but Tower Talent blows them out of the water.The Director (Ms. Megan Tower) was in the audition room with me while Karen was recording and they provided wonderful feedback to not only myself, but also a few others within our group of 4. If anybody is worried about being shy, just remember everyone else is in the same boat, but everyone working within the company makes you feel very welcome and comfortable.After the audition, I was able to meet with Ms. Dawn Parker who interviewed me and gave me the great news of a callback. So the next day I met with her once again with an even more refined commercial audition and was offered representation. It almost seemed that Dawn was more excited than I was because she immediately had Madyson, who is always working and never goes home :P, take a picture of me. I felt more welcome within Tower Talent Studio West, than I do in my own home at times. Probably because my cat runs the apartment, but thats a different review...Since signing, Ive been signed up for auditions with agents, given feedback on my resume, had my photos reviewed, etc... Im truly glad that I was able to meet with Ms. Jenn Lewis as well, because she was able to talk to me about my first audition and provide feedback. She has since been a huge supporter regarding the layouts of my resume and headshot. What was also great about that meeting was having the opportunity to be introduced to a gentleman by the name of Jim Crawford, who definitely prefers not to be called Sir hahaha. It was almost overwhelming having so much knowledge in one room at the same time. Jim is an expert on the modeling and runway side, while Jenn takes pride in some modeling, but mostly the acting portion of the company.So now Ive decided to take a class there for audition techniques and let me tell you a little bit about a gentleman by the name of Shewan Howard. His acting techniques class is essential for all stages of actors and a blast to be a part of. I wont give away any parts of his class, but trust me that you want to be there. Its just a way to become comfortable in your own skin and audition in front of somebody before the real deal. Ive only been to one class, but Im definitely excited for next Tuesday.In closing, Ive had a tremendous experience within the Tower Talent family and it has only been a little over two weeks. Im a very motivated individual and I understand the concept you only get what you put out, but I control my future and am very eager to continue working with Tower Talent to not only accomplish my goals, but most importantly follow through with my dreams.Joe
