Connecting Classrooms brought language learning to life for my students. They connected though videos and some students are now communicating with each other on social media. My students had fun showing off our school and learning that some things that they take for granted are not universal. I highly recommend Connecting Classrooms as a supplement to any language program.

I achieved a life-long goal of mine as a Spanish teacher thanks to Forum Language Experience. This had been my dream to connect my students to those of a Spanish-speaking country. I just always struggled with the logistics of how I would make it happen but Forum Language Experience had that all covered! Nadia Comerford from Forum was incredible! From Day 1, she was super-organized, attentive and always willing to help. The way Forum set up this experience was perfect! They connected the teachers and even gave us topics with rubrics and everything! My students thoroughly enjoyed creating our videos and watching their videos. Many of my students have connected with their Spanish friends on social media and plan to keep in contact with them as they absolutely loved learning about them and their culture. This was such an eye-opening experience for my students as they got to learn about all the differences and similarities. I cannot recommend this experience more!!! ¡GRACIAS FORUM!

Im a high school French teacher in the Philadelphia area. Im so appreciative of my positive experiences with Forum! I led a school trip through Forum back in 2018. It was a bit of a non-traditional exchange, and our Forum agent was amazingly helpful in helping me navigate my first exchange ever, and in helping us tailor the trip in just the way we wanted. It was incredible. I had planned a second school trip for June of 2020, but we had to cancel this one due to the pandemic. Theres that saying that crisis doesnt build character, it reveals it. Well, I can say that my interactions with our agent at Forum during this challenging and disappointing process revealed a truly sterling character. She was the essence of helpfulness, alacrity, and understanding. In this unprecedented time, I felt very fortunate to be working with Forum. I look forward to a return to normalcy and another school trip through Forum sometime soon!

What an incredible program!! I am a high school Spanish teacher and SO grateful I had this opportunity with Forum Language Experience! Since our students were not able to travel this year due to the pandemic, the next best thing was international pen pals. My classes partnered up with a school in Spain and made videos for each other throughout the year! It was AWESOME! My students learned so much about the Spanish culture while using their Spanish language skills in an authentic way and our Spanish friends learned a lot about our hometown and American culture! This program made it even easier as they provided every teacher with lesson plan for each video, instructions (in both languages), rubrics, example, and more! I highly recommend!

This year Oak Mountain Academy (OMA) in the United States had a wonderful opportunity to connect OMA’s Spanish/French classrooms with the virtual exchange program Forum Language Experience. Santiago Aristizabal in Malaga, Spain was our connecting classrooms’ coordinator who supported us through the program every step of the way; the program was extremely organized. The project consisted of doing two to three videos and posting the videos to the Forum Language Platform. The video topics included sub-topic options and were provided in the teacher’s guide. Students had approximately two months to choose their video title, write the script, and film each of the three videos. The students loved this project experience; they were thrilled when watching the video sent to them from our partner school in Granada, Spain. Currently, we have made plans for the students to meet using Zoom’s cloud-based video conferencing service for the last activity of the program. Students have not only improved their technology skills in making a video, but more importantly, students have made lasting friendships with students in Europe. The experience is unforgettable for both students and teachers. In addition, students can visit the exchange school if they desire. As an educator with over thirty years of experience, I highly recommend the Forum Language Experience Connecting Classroom Program.

The tour to Segovia was excellent! The tour guide in Spanish was very knowledgeable. She was interactive as she explained the history of Spain in the many stops we made, this made it easier to understand. Even the place we went for dinner was great! They were very accommodating to everyones needs.

I did a school exchange in high school and it was the most formative experience of my adolescence! Now, I get to pass that experience on to others. Forum is dedicated to World Language teachers and students and the team members are truly experts in culture, language and travel!

I have been traveling with Forum Language Experience for 11 years now, and planning two more trips with them in 2019. Forum delivers on everything. I have travelled with other tour companies as well, and Forum is so much better. You have your own group and are not combined with other tours. They cater to your needs and are flexible while on tours. If you want to do an extra stop somewhere and time permits, you can do that. For example, on our last trip in March we were in Monaco. On our way back to Nice, our tour director offered a stop at the Fragonard perfume factory in the small village of Èze. The guides are all native speakers, multilingual and very knowledgeable. You will get to contact them ahead of time and they will answer all your questions.Forum also makes sure that we are taken care of if our flights are delayed or cancelled. They will book hotels and pay for your meals until you safely reach home. They are really customer oriented. Yorick is very easy to work with and he will try his best to get you the best trip at the best price. I am planning a trip to Italy next Spring Break. With the help of an Italian co-worker, they have planned the most incredible tour. The price is very competitive with other tour companies, but we have our own group and we stay in nicer hotels and have better meals. In addition, the more participants you have, the cheaper it will be.This past month, I was in Málaga on vacation and Julia from the office was the kindest host and took me to a rooftop bar with incredible views of the port and the Alcazaba. Forum is a smaller tour company, and together with your tour consultant you can customize your trips while receiving top-notch quality service. I would highly recommend them!
