We loved the school and would highly recommend it. Your child will receive a top-notch education while being truly loved and valued by the teachers and staff! The only reason we left is we moved to a different state but we miss it everyday!

Very caring teacher my 2 daughters love to go there

I went here for 8 year. Preschool through elementary. The food here is honestly the best. The teachers are awesome too. The staff, principals and vice principals are really nice. After 8 years of going here my mom was able to make a friendship with 2 of the vice principals and the principal I think and she became friends with some of the staff. The school is a very good school to go to. My parents got to be involved in the field trips and field day. The elementary school they taught U.S. history which helped me alot in 8th grade and they taught us maps and other geography which is going to help me alot in 9th grade. The school does have a dresscode. Polo shirts and bash/dark blue pants, skirts, and shorts(past the knee). We do get bathroom breaks 2 times a day(before recess and after lunch). Throughout elementary I had the same people for 8 years which made me more comfortable presenting in front of the class(this is the one thing I cant to do because Im not that comfortable presenting in front of a class I barely know). The teachers only taught us how to do cursive except my 2nd grade teacher taught us how to do print. Now when I write its mixed with cursive and print which is actually cool. My friend that went to OVCA but left 2 years before me(he left in 5th grade) still does cursive(he does need to work on his handwriting it would be a C or D in penmanship). Tbh Iam happy I left OVCA after 6th grade because it allowed me to find friends thats live my me and try something new because if I didnt leave after 6th grade I know I would leave after 8th grade like my sister did(shes doing good, she graduated and shes a yoga instructor). When though public school changed me I still have have parts of OVCA with me.Thankyou for teaching me for 8 years(even though Im writing this 2 years after I left),McKenzie

Attended school here for 4 years and will never step foot back. Had a horrible experience all 4 years of highschool; the teachers were so involved that their drama directly affected the students, favoritism, was personally targeted by the staff, was personally harassed by the VP, was threatened with suspension for reading a book that specific teacher knew nothing about she sat me at the foot of the office and forgot about me, then later prepended like nothing happened, however, another staff member had recommended for me to read. Kids were singled out in about every activity, witnessed a teacher ask our class an inappropriate question about our households that singled out and humiliated the kids.The curriculum was great and some of the teachers taught well, some of them stayed after school ended to help students. The majority of them I didnt want to see after for help due to how they would display their frustration.

My son Just completed his first year at OVCA and it was an amazing year! All the teachers and staff are amazingly welcoming!
