This was the best part of our wedding planning experience. Neither of us had taken dance lessons previously, and we didnt even have a clear idea of what we wanted other than the ability to dance at our wedding. Rebecca delivered! Not only is she tremendously skilled in both dance and teaching, but she is also kind and tactful. She has a lovely energy, and we looked forward to each of our private lessons. Rebecca creates a comfortable and fun atmosphere with excellent communication. We very much enjoyed learning a new skill and finding another activity we can do together. We plan to take more lessons after the wedding.

We had worked hard with Rebecca in preparing our surprise first dance for our wedding. We were concerned that we would lose all of our progress when we could not visit her studio. She suggested that we work with her on an online, video link up. We wondered how that would work but we decided to give it a try. We were amazed at how effective these online lessons have proved to be. Not only were we able to maintain our currency in the steps we had learned in person, she was able to continue to teach us the additional moves we needed to make our dance complete. Whether I was a new student or one who was learning some new moves, I would recommend trying these remote learning lessons. You might be surprised in how effective they are.

My wife and I have been taking lessons with Rebecca for a couple of years now, and its always been a wonderful experience. With all the ways life has changed this last month, it was really reassuring that we were able to continue our dance instruction with her by moving to live online lessons. The lessons are great, and Rebecca is a great teacher over Zoom! :D

My dad and I are not dancers so we were looking for some instruction before the Father Daughter dance at my wedding. We enjoyed that dancing together was private lessons and catered exactly to our needs. Our instructor also made sure that the positions we were holding would photograph well since we know that there would be plenty of pictures of this moment. We decided to do a second lesson right before the wedding as a refresher and were glad we did. Thanks for the help!

We were in town and decided to attend a community dance event...only to discover that we needed to learn how to dance! We made a quick call and Dancing Together was quick to take us under their wings! I am not sure who is enjoying the gifting of ballroom dance lessons to my wife a few years ago. It gave us a new entertainment outlet; dancing together several times a week, participating instead of just watching, and making new friends. Rebecca is truly a gifted instructor teaching at a pace conducive to our learning process. After failing group classes her one-on-one techniques in a private setting succeeded to my wildest dream of enjoying social, swing, and Latin dances.

My husband gave me a series of dance lessons as a gift for Mothers day a couple years ago, and we have been taking lessons ever since.We started out with simple east coast swing and have evolved into all the other ballroom dances too! My husband is now willing to be the first one out on the dance floor and feels very comfortable dancing. Rebecca has made taking dance lessons very easy, and she speaks my husbands language. (Hes an engineer) We love going there. We now go out dancing several times a week. our favorite dances are Swing, Lindy-hop and Rumba.When my good friends daughter was getting married, we gave them a gift certificate to take lessons for their first dance. They had a great time there, and their dance was beautiful.

I started taking dance lessons because I was hoping to go to clubs and parties and be more social and dance with more confidence. I chose Salsa and Merenge because I am Latin and a Latino has to dance to Latin music!My lessons at Dancing Together were great, and now I am able to do what I used to just watch people doing in the clubs. I have much more confidence.Now I’m more likely to go out to clubs when I return home to Peru. I am ready to have more good times with my friends (and enjoy life!)

Silke is a phenomenal instructor! My fiancé and I have loved working with her on our first dance for our wedding. She is easy going and very charming (and very talented). Neither of us had danced before and she creates such a fun and laid back atmosphere. We definitely recommend her!

This is an awesome place to learn to dance! My son was interested in learning ballroom dance, particularly swing dance. Rebecca is patient and a very thorough, knowledgeable friendly teacher. Hes learning quickly and loves this school!

My husband had a crazy idea to take dance lessons before our wedding-and I told him it was crazy. Turned out, it was one of our best wedding decisions! Rebecca is so patient and explains steps in a variety of ways so it’s easy to pick up. It was a great bonding experience in getting ready for the wedding. We chose to dance an East Coast swing for our first dance, so it was a pretty involved dance but Rebecca helped us look like seasoned dancers! Our guests continue to talk about how fun the dance was and how it really got the reception started in the best way possible. It was lively and got everyone up at the end! Thank you, Rebecca!

Knowledgeable and experienced instructors will tailor your classes to best suit how you learn. They can turn a couple as clumsy as my wife and I into a couple that wows the crowd with their dancing and gets them on their feet!

Excellent instructors. I work with Silke on latin (mostly Cha-Cha, but also Rumba, Salsa, and Samba). Ive had many instructors around San Diego; you could not ask for better.

My fiancee and I took dance lessons with Rebecca because we have an upcoming wedding. The country where my fiancee is from doesnt traditionally do first dances with the bride and groom, so we both wanted this to a perfect surprise at the wedding. We didnt know that the surprise would us! Rebecca is an amazing teacher and instructor. She is patient and very informative. She really helped us learn how to dance as our first dance song was not easy. It is a Waltz and we are very confident after these lessons that we will nail the dance in a few weeks. We took classes with Rebecca for our first wedding dance and it went flawless on our special day. Very friendly environment and atmosphere where we learned a foxtrot routine considering that Im no expert. My wife and I strongly recommend this place as it build confidence in our maneuvers and prepared us for the best and worst case scenarios which on a wedding day are bound to happen. My fiancé and I wanted our first dance to be fun but formal and Rebecca at Dancing Together taught us how to find our groove. Her instruction was simple, kind, and to the point.
