I gave it a five start because I love playing table tennis here. But on the other hand I do not recommend sending your child here to learn. You learn absolutely nothing and the teachers here yell insults at your kids. The floor are dirty and it smells horrible in it. SO I RECOMMEND U DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE.

It is a great place for Table Tennis and some special classes, the teachers can be very strict but it is a still great place!

Not the best afterschool, but not bad. better than childtime and klassic kid in the same area, they only let the students play and not learning anything. at least my son learn something there, better than none, right. i agree the building is pretty dated. according to my son, he is having good time at learning tree...

As a student who has attended After School Learning Tree, I would not recommend any parents to send their children here. During my time there, one of the math teachers would be sitting throughout the entire class time and go on her phone. She made us pay for these badly printed math books because apparently the principal had already billed it without our parents knowing (which I believe is illegal). Also, one of the Chinese teachers has an accent, so it is difficult to actually learn Chinese, which was the reason I went there anyway. By the end of the year, I rarely learned any Chinese at all and all of my parents money went down the drain. Most of the teachers dont even have teaching permits. Additionally, the area is very unsanitary. The floors would usually be very dirty and some parts of the ceiling would be falling and held together by duct tape. Backpacks would be scattered, so the staff would make the kids clean it up or they would be yelled at. Kids would be punished in a few ways if they ran in the hallway or werent listening. They would be impolitely yelled at by the people who are assigned to manage behavior and be put in time-out for ten or so minutes. Im not saying that all the staff members are rude, but most of them are. There was a mentally disabled kid who went here, and wasnt listening or paying attention. One of the staff members yelled at him, calling him sick in the brain and my friends and I saw him dragging the poor kid across the floor and violently grabbing his arm. This particular staff member has made so many kids cry, including me. To move on, I even spotted a few staff members going out to the parking lot to smoke for ten minutes multiple times. In the playground (a flat, rough, surface of only asphalt), you could easily spot cigarettes lying around the perimeter where children would play. In addition, kids can easily get hurt on the asphalt surface as it is extremely coarse, and I have seen some crying children with scratches. After School Learning Tree also does not provide any tissues, so if you have a sneeze or a runny nose, youre out of luck (I learned the hard way). I could go on and on about all the negative things here, but just to sum up, a few of the staff members are extremely rude towards us and the area is incredibly dirty. But there is one reason why I gave this place two stars instead of one. I have made everlasting friendships here that I will never forget. I have made life-long friends throughout my years here and they are still my best friends. My friends and I have made unforgettable memories here, not all good. But this is something good about ASLT. All in all, I do not recommend this place since as a student, so please dont send your children here. My times here were mainly painful and I could rarely concentrate on homework with all the loud, yelling kids which no one would do anything about. These were my experiences here that I hope to share with you so you can make the right decision for whats best for your child.
