This place is the best! Let me keep it short. Today I went in for my guard card and I was nervous, but man did it turn out to be relaxing, smooth, and just to me not hard at all. Basic knowledge and understanding is what you need to me and structure. They honestly make you feel at ease even with Jason busting a couple jokes here and there but still keeping everything educational and teaching you what you need to know. I go back for my guard card soon, if everything goes well with my background. Thank you Jason and to the rest of the family there I appreciate everything and look forward to the armed guard courses.

Great place to go and get your guard card for $178 they offer a variety of classes. The workers inside are polite and helpful if you have any questions the lady who works front desk is your goto person the class wasn’t hard at all the test is easy everything is open book and notes. Back in 2017 I went to Private Security Training Center to obtain my guard card and exposed firearm permit and I have no regrets! Well, just as a recently retired public servant looking for something to do... I must say, I was very impressed by the information I obtained from the nice lady at the front desk.. All my questions were answered, All levels of training are offered there on site and the computer area was very extensive. They have a on site indoor firing range as well as gear for purchase. I was very impressed by the set up these folks have... After attending multiple state facilities for extended training in my public service career... From the capital area to most of the states local county facilities... I was very impressed.. plenty of parking.. on site class room, large multi computer lab, live Scan facility a few steps away and the most important part... Knowledgeable on site personal to assist you with your needs to complete the training you are looking for... I never got this while I was seeking my career and less when I did get hired on and promoting through the ranks until I retired from my agency. So far 5 stars!!!

The 3 weeks are worth it cause you get a good price to get your guard card and firearm permit and tons of information plus the instructor and his sister are really great people. Glad I took his class.

Jason is an amazing instructor! Very intelligent and thorough in his teachings. He trains well and it was money well spent. I can ask questions and he goes over everything we need to know and also has demonstrations or related stories so it helps you understand everything. Family owned business makes it more personable and not just here to take your money and teach you the minimal. I have received my guard card, 40 hours needed for full certification, and firearms permit (pending) all around December. Literally I found a great full time security within 2 weeks thanks to their high standards of training. Ive been in the security field since 2000. Believe me when I tell you that you wont find a more affordable place. Specially when it comes to weapon re-qualifications. Other companies will charge extra on the fourth requal do to the test. Not this guys. Jason and his team are always there to help and are very resourceful.

The best training facility I have ever been to. Firstly, the price is better than any other training center in or around the area. Secondly, It starts off in a classroom environment, but throughout the training you get hands on(Handcuffing procedures/ familiarity with firearms). Lastly, the employees/trainers of the facility were very professional, and I learned a lot. When I was told I would have to complete 3 weeks of training to get all the certificates that PSTC offer, I was not looking forward to it. I just knew it was going to be a LONG, BORING 3 weeks. But I was so wrong! The staff here are amazing people who really care about your Future. Jason is ever passionate about his company and the success of his students. He is intelligent, down to earth, funny person which makes his classes fun with Lots of laughter. He is very informational when it comes to life period. He really makes you think about things in a different light. He is really doing what he is meant to do and that is to educate people.
