I was extremely disappointed with how the program turned out, this is more for kids who have NEVER been in childcare. They focus more on social & emotional skills. They do not have “circle time” or worksheets, no learning, basically free play. My child was way too advanced for this program & became bored, went from doing work at his old day care to just playtime all day. Sure the facility is nice but wished they actually taught the kids. Prepare them for kindergarten were they are required to work & have structure, Not just learn through play. My childIs now beginning to read & is back to enjoying school instead of being bored & frustrated. 99% of the students are attending for free.. so you get what you pay for. Sure paying $85 was great but I would rather spend $630 a month in a place where he is being taught & exploring music, Spanish & STEM. What a waste of 2months at Prek4SA

I wasnt too excited about my baby going to school but my son loves it!! His teacher is the best and you can clearly see that my boy is learning and its not just about numbers and letters. Hes learning to be gentle and kind. Hes learning right from wrong and how to use his words. I can not wait to til my 2 year old gets old enough to attend! Thank your Pre- K for SA.

I’ve had two children attend Pre-K for SA and the teachers are outstanding! They allow parents to be fully engaged and the children learn with play. I love it

Awesome school. My son loves going to school every day. The teachers are awesome. He is learning alot. What more can you ask for. Thank you to the city of san antonio for providing such a great school. We pay a good amount of money but 90% of families do not pay. Highly recommended! Top notch school.

For those low ratings saying that Idea is a better school and that Pre-K 4 SA is basically a daycare, that’s EXACTLY what the program is.. From the beginning, the program lets you know that they are NOT a school but an enrichment program.. That’s why it’s just called Pre-K 4 SA and not school.. They give 4 year olds things to do inside and outside the classroom..They garden, they learn dental hygiene(although they should already know how to brush their teeth,) they do school field trips(like the zoo,) they play with everyday household objects that lets them use their imagination, and arts and crafts as well.. They do things on a lenient structure and even involve the community and families.. They even have bus pick up and drop offs around certain parts of neighborhoods to the school with seatbelts specially made for their little bodies..🥰🥰My son has certain dietary restrictions and can’t eat dairy, soy, and I choose to eliminate High Frutose Corn Syrup as well as a personal restriction from his diet.. They are the most accommodating place when it comes to that and have just about the equivalent substitution so he doesn’t feel left out during eating sessions.. They also have AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS for working adults that help out BIG TIME for me being a single parent.. This was the BIGGEST blessing and best program for toddlers in this stage transitioning to elementary school.. I would want ALL my future children to attend here if I have more.. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.. 🥰🥰

Best pre-k ever!!! All the staff is very kind... Miss Nichols and Miss Pagan are the best teachers, very patients with the kids!!!
