I didnt realize that there are a few people unhappy with LPA. Both my kids have been with LPA for almost 2 years now. Every kid has incidents and if you dont think so (and blame the teachers) you live in a fantasy world. My kids love going to Daycare and they love the staff and their teachers. The facility is very flexible with my schedule and they work well with my family. We love LPA so much that I bought my home 10 mins away as I knew this is where my kids will be for years.

We have had such a great experience at La Petite. My son loves to go there all year. He has gone to this La Petite for two years now and loves all the teachers and staff. Everyone there is so nice and caring. My daughter loves to go in the summer where they have fun field trips for the school age kids. I dont worry about leaving them because I know they are in good hands and will have lots of fun.

I dont understand the bad ratings. I enrolled my 20month old recently. The Director Ms. Kari was really helpful, she gave me a tour and introduced me to the teachers. Shes always smiling, and amazing with the kids at la petite. I love Ms. Rosie at the front desk, shes the sweetest person. Always greets us with a friendly smile. I also love the fact that the teachers are able to communicate with the parents throughout the day, through the brightweel app. Theyll send pictures of your little ones and let you know what they have for breakfast or lunch. Theyll also update you on how many wet diapers your little one had. I like that they have cameras in each classroom, and the open door policy. I can just stop by whenever I feel like it and check on my little one. They just got all new furniture and toys. The facility is clean. So far Im really pleased with the facility and the staff.

I am giving La Petite Academy a One star rating. My experience with this facility was horrible. I enrolled my daughter and the first week she got strep throat. The doctor stated it was due to bacteria and germs. I get it that children are at risk in getting sick but the first week. I was informed by my oldest daughter that my daughter was laying on the floor without a mat only a blanket. The floor is filled with germs and everyone walks on the floor. Also, when I took my daughter to use the restroom the toilet was dirty with fecies and urine stains. All this occurred during a 2 week period. The assistant upfront stated I will make a note about cleaning the restroom. I said to my self there should not be a note it should be done every day. They only positive review I will state is Ms. Julie was an exceptionally teacher to my daughter. I hope this center reads my review and make the changes needed moving forward.

Facility is dirty and staff is extremely rude to parents and children. They lost a bottle that had breast milk in it then two days later my son was sent home drinking from that bottle. Their policy is that they do not wash bottles so they gave him a possibly contaminated bottle to drink from. It also was not labeled with the childs name or what it contained. For weeks our child was coming back with empty food containers. After asking the staff if he was eating all of his food they could not answer if he was or was not. They were throwing away food specifically prepared and packed for him. I told them to send food home if he was not eating all of it and after that they decided to serve them their own food against our wishes and doctors instructions and send home all of the food we prepared. The infants appear to be controlled by placing them in a high chair or in a crib. Every day we pick up our son there are children in the high chair with no food/drink and children standing in their cribs crying to get out.The online system they use to track what happens throughout the day is great ... when they use it. The routinely forget to update what my son has eaten or if he has been drinking milk or not. One day they did not log any milk through out the day. When we picked him up it looks like he had been drinking milk but they did not update their tracking system all day. This happens multiple times a week. They have to fix the weekly tuition amount every single week. For some reason they cannot program their invoice system to have the correct amount show up every week.We were using the La Petite 5718 Eckhert Rd for the first couple of months and they were great. The Marbach facility needs a complete change of staff. They are lazy and extremely unpleasant to deal with.

I would definitely consider choosing a daycare and avoiding this one I promise you you will regret it because if you so much as get into a disagreement with them they get so shady and make stuff up because they literally called CPS saying my husband hit me and I came in with a black eye and that were starving our daughters and our daughters are being abused. On top of all that when the CPS investigator looked at me and looked at our daughters she was really confused as to why I didnt have a black eye. My husband has never hit anyone in his entire life and I find it extremely insulting for someone to accuse my husband of such horrendous Acts. My husband and I had never done anything to our children weve always been on their side. This is a place you really need to watch your backs with. I dont want to see another family go through this horrible thing. now keep in mind our daughters also did not have any marks of any kind anywhere on their bodies.

My boys attend this child care facility and they love their teachers! The staff is very friendly, nurturing and communicative. If I have questions or concerns they are addressed. There are times I pick the boys up and they are a little dirty but I also understand that it is difficult to ensure that all children are cleaned up immediately with other children needing attention as well. I havent had any issues and I love that if I do have an issue I can come to any of the staff or directors. We are very content with the care that our kids are provided! I absolutely love Ms Melanie and Ms Dee!

This Daycare has helped me in so many ways with my children especially my son who has a hard time adjusting to places. They have a Great Director who is so understanding when it comes to daycare fees for care for my children. The Teachers are SO nice and helpful; with my children they teach them so many things. I have seen a big improvement on my two sons they learned so many things at La Petite Academy. Thank YOU so much for your services.

Leaving your child in the care of someone other than yourself is never an easy thing to do. My child is in the Pre-K room and I must say that I am very impressed in the progress he has made in such a short time. Miss Naomi goes above and beyond to enrich the minds of these children. It makes me very proud when he comes home with such excitement and gloats about what shes taught him. Thank you Miss Naomi for allowing me to walk out of your room content, that my child not only enjoys your classroom, but is learning every day.

Immediately upon touring the school I knew I wanted my daughter to attend here. All the staff is friendly when you enter and exit the building they acknowledge and greet you. It is an educational environment my daughter is always coming home with singing a new song and her art projects are all over the classroom hanging up for display. They take pictures (with parental consent) of activities and send them home so you can see them participating in activities throughout the day. They provide breakfast lunch and snack and have a playground weather permitting take the children outside to play. They have really helped my daughter transition from a bottle to cup and learn to follow instructions. Everything is so structured meaning they have a specific time for nap, eating, free play, outside time, reading ect.

I came here for a tour of the facility about a month ago to enroll my two children. Everything was going well and they definitely have perks regarding security and locked doors. However, after my tour I was waiting for paperwork and in the entry it is a clear wall to where you can see into the daycare center. I was easily able to observe one of the teachers in the older class (3 to 5 year olds I believe) pick up a child by his arm and put him on the floor. This appeared very aggressive rather than offering compasionate care. While yes, toddlers can be difficult and moody no matter the case this is no way to provide care or aid in growth and development of children. Once I observed this type of care I was not going to enroll my children there whatsoever.

I love this daycare!!! and so did my son for almost 4 years he attended every day, all day. The directors and teachers are all very respectful and consistent. The provide positive reinforcement to the children when needed and always have fun events and activities planned for all the age groups. I can honestly say I have not had even one bad experience with this daycare at all. My daughter even attended during the summer and they had field trips and events planned each week to keep the older kids entertained. If I needed afterschool care in the future, I wouldnt hesitate to go back!!!The brite family

My kids have been attending this facility for almost a year. They all have loved it. I adore the director, Ms. Kari who has always promptly addressed ANY issues that have come up whether with other students or staff. I adore my kids teachers and my kids do too. I pay a TON of money and honestly, its not worth it for me to work with the price I pay independently for 3 kids to be cared for while I do, but they, as toddlers have grown a lot socially and their vocabulary has grown tremendously. They even helped me potty train my twins in a week. I feel as though I would be doing my kids an injustice by taking them out of this facility to stay home and save the money I pay. I highly recommend this facility. I dont understand why people are complaining about food, my kids are always fed the daycares food and I always get the updates on how much of it they ate. Kids are not allowed to bring lunch because they prepare food there to make sure everyones needs are met while avoiding emergencies like anaphylaxis. This is clearly stated in the registration paperwork before you even drop your kids off the first day, its not like they just throw your food away out of spite. Plus, with the cost of my kids food being worked into the daycare bill, I get to write it off at the end of the year.

The office staff is unprofessional they are rude and will literally walk away as you try to express a concern. The front lady is a smart aleck and Ms. Keri needs to find a new profession since she can not keep her composure with concerned or frustrated parents. She will not try to help or fix the problem. The toddler teacher Ms. D was neglectful to my son physically, emotionally, and mentally. No I was not expecting favoritism or hugs I mean this broad thought if the child made her job difficult she did not have time for it. Examples were potty training and communication I know my child this woman instilled fear in him to communicate to her he would not want to speak up to her. The toddler class before that teacher had no problem because she was a good teacher unfortunately she is not there any more. This woman does not need to be working with children she needs to retire already especially considering the reason she was fired from her last job as a director with Little Dragon Den daycare.

I am extremely disappointed with having placed my children at La Petite on Marbach. The front office staff occasionally greet as you walk in, or smile. My son is 22 months I placed him on the Cuties Diaper program due to being misinformed that the fee was $10 a month. The fees kept saying they werent current, Id ask the staff to recheck, they said it was a problem with the system, turns out a month later i was billed as extra $30 because apparently i hadnt paid the ($40/monthly) Cuties in full. When I spoke with the director she was very rude and sarcastically stated its $10 A WEEK! My daughter is turning 4 in Sept, her teacher is very rude doesnt even say hi or acknowledge her arrival or depart from class. If we arrive within 10min of breakfast ending, i have to ask the front to feed her, because her teacher will not feed her willingly, send vey anxious to send them outside. She rolls her eyes and is full of attitude speaking with myself and my daughter. I see no sense of teaching it appears as if these woman are merely rude baby sitters.

My son has been kicked two separate times both staff (teachers & office) were notified was told that i would be taken care of the first time it had happened. after the first time he hasnt been given a daily report of his day or have we receive any incident report. now my son got kicked again and has a bruise and still they dont know anything. also my son has came home saying the the teacher was mean to him and a separate time he said they put him to sleep without his blanket and he was cold he said they couldnt find his backpack but when I picked him up he told the teacher in front of me You see I told you i had my backpack and it was over here told you but she just went on and didnt seem to care almost as if she was ignoring him. At first they will make it seem as if its a good day care and then when you are in they are all clueless of what to do. Also they want us to check in my kids even when they dont go i dont think thats right.

The director of this academy is smug and rude. She talks about you in spanish quickly, despite the fact that I am white, I understood everything she said about me.She made no attempts to curb two hispanic children from throwing rocks at my nephew, saying that it was his fault because he was hitting them. If theres discontent, why didnt they separate them?My niece was not allowed to attend certain field trips, although I was required to pay the full cost of field trips every week. They had no problem charging me $11 for movie days but never communicated with us about anything else. My niece came home and cried because almost all the other kids went to a ball game but she had to stay in the baby room. She was upset that they frequently changed the dates of the set field trips or quickly changed the venues at the last minute. They refused to provide me a schedule until I demanded one, and even then it deviated greatly. I understand the reason that plans change, and sometimes changes cannot be helped, but there is a great lack of communication on the entire staffs part.I was told that one of the teachers consistently used my nephews blanket during naptime and requested he sleep next to another child. I had to wash it almost daily because she was so sick. I dont think a sick worker should be using blankets that a child brings - let alone require WE wash them. Im sick of providing wipes and pullups for the entire class. I once asked my nephew why he was missing a BRAND new pack of wipes - he told me that his teacher took them out of his backpack and put them in the baby room. I went to retrieve them and there were two wipes left. The straw that broke my back this time was having to pick my nephew up once with NOTHING on his bottom. I had told them that he was having stomach issues and requested they not attempt potty training, because he wasnt feeling well. They went through all 4 pairs of shorts (except for one pair, which was in his backpack). I asked the teacher why he had nothing on and she said he had too many accidents so he doesnt get to wear them now. I pointed out that he had more shorts, to which she said I was going to put him in them before you came to pick him up. Thats completely unacceptable. They could have put loan shorts on him (which I would have happily returned) or even called me to tell me he needed more clothing and we could have worked on a solution.Parents, this is a HORRIBLE daycare. The teachers (except for one or two) do not seem to care for any of the children and the director will only care if youre paying her. Save your money and go somewhere, ANYWHERE else. This is a terrible location.
