This is where I matured as a teacher! It was the best 17 years of my almost half- century educational career.Great kids, caring, involved, supportive parents and a fantastic faculty.It was sad to be there when the school was closed, but I survive on great memories of great kids !I know of 2 former students that have PhDs. A number of the students went on to become teachers, many in the Edgewood District!That is a compliment to the Escobar community as well as Edgewood High School.It is always great to meet former students from those 17 years. Great, great memories!Go Lions Go ! Go forever !PSLoads of Escobar memorabilia is stored at the Edgewood High gym. I got to see it today (10/15).
