Attention School Principal: Please reach out to the parents and make sure they are taking precaution when allowing there kids to ride their bikes to your school. For the last 3 mornings Ive seen this little boy riding his bike down 1560, a very busy road, on his way to school at 7AM. There is no sidewalk or bike lane down this road. He is literally using the shoulder of the street to ride his bike. He doesnt have any reflectors or lights on his bike, and you cant even see him until he is right next to your car. At this time of year it is still dark outside at 7AM, and this is an accident waiting to happen! I have no earthly idea why his parents are letting him do this!

My daughter was assaulted at school and administration did a lousy job handling the situation. Yvette Lopez, did not follow proper protocol and denied our request to speak to a police officer. She mocked, taunted and belittled my husband. She told my husband “You can’t bypass me, I need to see if this is even deemed worthy to give to an officer.” She then proceeded to tell him “why are you so upset?” My husband reiterated that a student had put their hands on our child. My child had a bruised arm. I have since filed a complaint with Central office. They were just as disgusted and appalled at how she handled the situation. She was extremely rude, unprofessional and DID NOT follow proper protocol. A parent should never be denied access to speak to an officer. As an NISD educator I am extremely disappointed and shocked at how people like Yvette Lopez are in a leadership position.

Worked at the school as a student teacher and I was so happy with how I was treated the entire time I was there, greeted with a friendly smile and after viewing many teachers give their lessons I would be more than excited to have my kids go to school here one day.

So Far My Experience With The Teachers At This School has been terrible. Not because the teachers are mean Or because some petty grudge I held against the teachers, but because the learning curriculum and the teachers actual teaching skills are horrible. The teachers might have nice personalities, but they rely to much on technology, and they act like we are supposed to immediately understand something after they taught it to us once. They dont help, they also sometimes give innacurate information. The only people who actually maybe legitimately care might be SOME of the coaches. Take This Advice: If You Are Going To This School, Your Best Friend Isnt Going To Be Any Other Kids, Its Going To Be Google. The Internet Is Your Best Resource At This School. If youre in math, I suggest going online and get help from there since the teachers arent going to help you

Most likely the other review is a transplanted child into the area as I cannot see any parent really wanting their 6,7,8th grader walking around marked like Texas cattle. As a parent this school is pro-active and more than fair. The education is very forward thinking and aggressive curriculum. The teachers have been and are very responsive should you ever need anything or if they need something from you as a parent. This is middle school, not elementary and they do operate that way, your child is going to learn how to start being somewhat independent. I really do like the atmosphere and the teachers and am glad to have my children attend here. As a taxpayer, I do feel that my time and money is being fully utilized on behalf of the student(s). (whether the students know it or not)

All the teachers there are awesome. As soon as you walk in there you will feel welcomed and they treat you with respect

I like the school but I dont like the fact of only being able to dye your hair natural colors like black,blond and brown but I would rather have my hair blue I also think that the teachers are pretty sure that we learn EVERYTHING in one day besides Mr. Miranda hes cool

Well Im a student at this school currently in 7th grade... imma just let u know right now when they say its the best middle school in texas, it really isnt. I have once got detention for throwing a marker at someone cus they threw it at me. And my frend got detention for saying sit your buts down in class.... I personally hate this school. Teachers are okay. They can be really nice. But like rules and stuff can be a pain. BTW the lunch ladies are mean soo watch out

Well first the dress code is very stupid considering you cant wear shorts unless there are past your knees, you cant dye your hair which is dumb. I understand the dress code and everything but saying you cant do something with your own body part is completely unnecessary. You cant have body piercings like tongue, nose, or lip. That is also very idiotic. And it may not seem very important but it is a necessity for preteens and teens to express themslefs through that sort of stuff, and banning them from doing that especially around the time of adolescents I recommend that part of the dress is unnecessary. The learning here is not the best, academics, music, etc. Not that good. I recomend you do not go to this school.

This is a fun school to learn at and their sports teams are fabulous and greatly coached.

This is a horrible place for a school. Its in an area with many perv registered offenders near by. All the houses near it are low quality cookie cutter homes too. I moved from there because this school and neighborhood is filthy

School is stupid and they say they’re the best middle school in Texas but it isn’t, a student got pregnant and kids are doing drugs like why aren’t you doing anything about this and I am a student here

Omg... this school is the best ever!

This school has the most respective kids unlike other schools we never have fights and our kids are not treated like cattle they are rewarded when good behavior is shown.

I hate this school. the teachers are okay i guess.
