I completed my 3 Wheeled Safety Course today and I feel much more confident about riding a 3 Wheeled motorcycle. All my interactions with the office staff were prompt, courteous, professional, and helpful. At one point theres was a misunderstanding about the available trikes, but the staff very patiently work though the issue. The instructor never once made me feel bad in anyway and did an excellent job helping us through the riding portion and making the classroom portion engaging.

Just finished my motorcycle training class this past weekend at Rolling Oaks Mall, 2 day course. William Flottman is a great instructor. Very knowledgeable and willing to help students. Instructor William took his time to explain and re- explain every aspect of the course. Including key points in the book with emphasis on rider safety and awareness. I feel more knowledgeable about motorcycles and my skills have improved greatly. Need more instructors like Williams. Only issue is he needs a bigger TV. Get the man a bigger TV.Also be professional and courteous. If class starts at 8AM. Be there 7:50AM. Will not wait up for you.

I’ve never been here, I’m just looking over the reviews as I normally do before making my decision, though I see great reviews I also see terrible reviews, but what has influenced my decision to NEVER come here is the unprofessional, sarcastic, rude response from (I’m guessing) the owner. Any place who responds in such a manner is place I’d advice people to not even bother visiting. He obviously doesn’t care to improve on customer service, n I wouldn’t be surprised if he had some smart response to my review after seeing his comments on others 1 star reviews.

I took the class back in July. William was the teacher. He did a great job. Yes, you get your mistakes pointed out... but thats what youre there to do...learn from your mistakes. He was also quick to point when you did something right and when you corrected your mistakes. It was a very good class, and I got a lot out of it. I think we need to get William a joke book for Christmas!

From the singling out of individual students to the blatant disregard for making people feel uncomfortable. Just those combinations alone I would strongly suggest you stray from this place. As someone who’s supported and recommended this place of business for multiple years I will no longer do so. I’ll let all my customers know. This isn’t the first time, apparently, just read the rest of the horrid reviews. No students should ever feel rushed or unsafe in a MSF course. Dear owner if you care to respond with how I wasn’t on your roster, you’re right I wasn’t. But my coworkers and many a customer have been. Utter disappointment.

Arrive early and be on time! They don’t wait! Plus it’s just respectful of other people’s time. I took the class a couple weeks ago. I literally knew nothing about riding. The instructor was great. Taught all the basic to us. I had no complaints about anything we learned. Only Thing that was a issue was bathroom breaks outside. Going in to the mall is a pain. But they are working on it. The instructors knew there stuff and made the class fun. Also, dress appropriately because your going to be outside and inside 50/50.

This course really was amazing. Ive had some experience with riding over the past two years, but decided on the basic course. It was really great and the instruction was great especially since youre educated about the assessment, then the instructor physically performs an example of the task. I highly recommend this class! The instructor made this glass educational and fun. The biggest complaints I see are from people being late-- and honestly that isnt the instructor or companys fault and I dont feel they should be judged solely on that aspect. Dont hesitate to choose them-- you wont regret it!

Took this class this week, excellent experience. Yes you need to show up on time its in the check boxes you agree to when you enroll in the class, try showing up to work late and see how that goes with your boss. Just like in life and riding a motorcycle you need to take responsibility for your actions. We had plenty of breaks after each riding exercise, make sure to take plenty of water/electrolytes and an ice chest to keep them cool..you will be out in the Texas sun the instructor has no control over the weather.William was an excellent rider coach/ facilitator. His main focus is your safety out there on the roads. He did a great job balancing the subject and keeping it light with some humor. I would recommend this course to anyone wanting a motorcycle endorsement. You get out of it what you put into it.

Where should I start.... so last year I completed my online test and the next day I woke pu early to make sure I beat the traffic on 1604. Well, there was soo much traffic. I got there 3min late!!!! I knocked on the door and the instructor said I was late and he could not take me in. He was not polite at all...but it gets better. After he told me I was not allowed, I was so mad. The parking lot only had 2 cars!!!! I even took a photo of it!!! I began to walk back to the room and ask 1 final question.....well guess how was outside the class room....yup the instructor!! As soon as he saw a bit of me going his direction and went back to the class room. Either it was empty and/or just 1 person there. Really???? I called them up later that day and told them reason why I was late and also that the instructor was outside etc. The guy I talked to over the phone told me he could not do a refund and put me back in. Instead, he said they would credit me I believe it was $35 or $45. He said when I am ready, to give them a call. 3 4 days later I called about 7 times and no answer. Five ours later, I called again and finally some lady answered . I told her my story and told her I spoke to someone and that day would credit me part of my money ($35/$45). She told me there were no notes about giving me money credit. I was speechless. So lets do some math... Instructor with bad attitude + only 1 person in the class + catching the instructor out side by the rails + small credit of $35/$45 + there was no notes about giving me credit = Not recommending this Motorcycle company.

Our motorcyle class was held in 105° heat yesterday with only one instructor and 8 riders. Class got one break in a 3 1/2 hour time frame while our instructor continued to walk over to where his car was having windshield replaced while we sat in the direct sun on bike waiting on him to handle personal business during class time.I fell over on my bike starting a turn. Our instructor was more concerned about bike than in my safety. Instead of trying to help me rebuild my confidence after my fall his response was I was taking time away from the class. After that every little thing I did wrong I was call out on in front of the class. I was not the only student in this class that needed help. Which left 6 other students to have to just set in the sun one their bikes while only one instructor helped out student.Word of advice check to see how many instructors are out on the training course and how many breaks you get while taking your class in 105° weather. Both my husband and I had to quit the class due to over heating after being in the direct sun for over 3 1/3 hours.Very expansive way to look out for your own safety.PLEASE BE WARNED and Dont over heat .

I had paid to take the course 2 years ago (07/27/17). Was unsure of the location since I didnt see any cars parked there initially and not a single motorcycle. Actually passed someone else in the class in the parking lot. Got to the door less than 5 minutes after 8. He had already locked himself in the room and didnt open it until they went outside around 830. His response? I guess youll be on time next time. And he chuckled. I called their office on Monday (class was on a Saturday) and was offered a pitiful credit if I paid nearly full price again. I think I got the last laugh when I disputed the charge and got a refund. I went to Southwest motorcycle training instead and learned a lot. Saw a post on a Facebook group asking for recommendations and thought Id give a recommendation to everyone. Go somewhere else.

When I originally started riding motorcycles back in 1999...I took the advanced course with my sport bike. It was mandatory for military. That...and I decided to take a few years off about 5 years ago and got back on in April. I took Will’s beginner 2-day course because 1. I hadn’t purchased a new motorcycle yet and 2. I wasn’t sure if I was going to, and was going to use this experience to help me make my decision. It was a little rough getting back on. While in general I remembered how to ride, I could NOT do any of the tighter maneuvers at the onset of the course. However over the two days...I not only accelerated my mechanical memory on riding, I improved on it...having actually gotten far more comfortable and confident with slow speed maneuvers. This translated to my new motorcycle...and I’m a better rider for it. Well worth the $200.And yes...William tells jokes. Depending on the audience some jokes are more or less professional. If that’s your criteria for picking a class...then your priorities are misaligned. He makes it clear that he is a facilitator and the it’s up to the rider to learn. He cannot force anyone to develop skill...but can only guide with advice and coaching. And that’s true. All learning whether academic or physical is self learnt.

They really care for their students developmental needs to be safe on the road. I was hesitant to take this course because of the negative Google reviews but it was the exact opposite come to find out. I made some errors but was given feedback to improve and keep me safe on the road. You should not take ANY motorcycle training course if you cant take criticism to keep you alive. The roadways do not offer second chances when you make mistakes, but this course does. Thank you MTC. I will recommend this class to others.

I took my class with Mr. William. It was like being taught how to ride by a family member. Excellent for real beginners. Excellent for those like me who after 8 years of riding decided to refresh riding concepts that are really important if you want to ride safely and enjoy your bike for many years to come. The instructor is really dedicated to teach beginners. No pressure at all. He actually helps you relieve your stress at being a newbie by explaining how to do every exercise until you understand it and do it right. He teaches the real basics, followed by showing you how easy it could be with a little practice, to do slow speed maneuvers and all the other tests involved in MSFs manual. And there was more than enough was time for practice. The overall attitude was extremely friendly, non-judgmental, extremely-respectful. He is very well educated and mannered. I feel I got what I paid for and more. The motorcycles were top shape; with and oiled chain, new tires in the all bikes, brakes top shape, shifters easy to operate, clutch in perfect working conditions, etc.I happily recommend this MSF course on top of some others in San Antonio (2 of which I had a real bad experience with, just look for reviews before commiting your hard earned $$$).To all riders, I salute you.Rudy.

Took the basic rider course over a Saturday/Sunday. I had never seen a motorcycle up close, nor had I ever driven a manual vehicle before. The instructor, William, was awesome. I went into the course with the goals of learning how to ride the safe way, while still wanting a little fun for the weekend as well. He did an absolutely great job of explaining things to someone like me, who was a bit timid and didnt have frankly any knowledge on the topic and even threw in some comedy as well. On the range, he really pushed a few topics (if you take/took the course, you know what Im talking about) over and over so that it became engrained as a skill. He was also realistic and honest about the course. Skill comes with time and he said that the real test was out on the road, so he could only cover the bare basics in the time provided. I essentially went into the course expecting some safe knowledge and some fun and came out with a lot of fun and knowing what else to look into and practice before going on more risky roads than others.

This is a 2 day class with a so called experienced instructor. The motorcycles are in bad condition, therefore it is very hard to learn on them. The instructor William does not help students learn...he is there to pass time and deliver an exam to the ones that have motorcycle riding experience and make them legal, rather than teach the ones with no experience. He has a sarcastic attitude, dirty jokes throughout the 2 days and ignores students he does not like.I strongly recommend: stay away from this place.

Was in the same class as another reviewer today and have to agree wholeheartedly with what he said. Felt compelled to write this because some other reviews had me concerned about the course before I signed up but they are absolutely wrong and I would not hesitate to send anyone to take this course with William.William is not only a great instructor but he is humorous and really works to help you learn. I saw a review with a comment about being called out but he never does anything to embarrass/demean anyone it is 100% to make you (and everyone else in the class) a better rider...something I appreciate. I happened to be one of the least experienced in the class so my mistakes were pointed out more than once but his suggestions always helped make me better and thats what I paid for. You dont pay the course fee to be coddled you are spending that money to learn how to properly ride a motorcycle as well as many things that could very well save your life one day (and to get your motorcycle endorsement too of course). If he never points out mistakes then the students cant become better at riding.I still have a lot to learn but the foundation I got in this class is a solid one and after some riding time on a personal motorcycle I will most likely be back to take the intermediate course with William.

I don’t know how MTC can even classify themselves as a motorcycle training center or how they ever became certified to teach the basic motorcycle safety course. They advertise this course for beginners but if you haven’t been riding for years and have all maneuvers mastered, you will fail! You will also be made to feel like you are stupid for even wanting to try to learn. The instructor, Dell, is very judge mental and according to his manager, is not following the state guidelines. Dell forced our class to stay 5 1/2 hours (2 hours over) on the course doing obstacles and getting more and more frustrated with us because we were making mistakes and we were getting frustrated because we were all exhausted. His manager told us today that Dell should have only required us to go through 4 obstacles that day. However, Dell is still teaching at MTC and nothing is changing. Take my advice, don’t take your BRC with this company!!! You will waste your money and time!

I attended the class few weeks back. Del was our instructor and he did all it takes to help students improve their skills. His judgement was fair and he would spend extra time with students strugling on some of the excercises to make sure they get the technique. He asked a student to leave the course since the person was 30+ minutes late for the class on the second day. Del held the class for the first 15 minutes to give some time that student to show up but hey, it’s not fair for the rest 7 people to sit and wait. There are a number of excercises that have to be done and 30 + minutes delay makes it close to impossible. I had nex to 0 experience riding a motorcycle and I passed because of the help of the instructor. For the statistics out of 8, 1 never showed up, 1 was asked to leave because they were late, 1 failed on the riding test. The rest 5 got their licenses. This course is for you if you are motivated, willing to learn and take it serious. The insructors are respectful and very knowlegable.
