I presently teach an Enhanced Reading course at the middle school and love ❤️❤️The faculty, staff, administrators and especially the students. The parents are very supportive and the kids are extremely engaged. Although I have only been here 3 months, I feel as if I have been part of the Jubilee family for years.

The staff and students are respectful and have an awesome culture. The students are prepared to be a leader to be successful adults. I love working at Jubilee Academies. My children also attend and have graduated from our school which makes it more meaningful for me.

As a student I have to say I love it here. The teachers help you get through work and personal issues. The other students are also very nice and will be good friends~Nathan A.

Wonderful school who goes above a beyond to create hardworking leaders. My child knew very little coming before coming here and now he is doing wonders in his first year of Kindergarten. He also comes home talking about wanting to be a better leader and how he can be more kind to others. WOW! We are very happy here!

As a current student I’m not being forced to write this instead I’m writing this out of appreciation for a school who has done nothing but good things for me. I’ve been here since 3rd grade and I’m currently in 7th. This school has gotten better each in every year. All I really want to say is thank you jubilee.

As a parent from this school, I love it! It is my kids first year here, after transferring them from a traditional SAISD school, and they fell in love with it right away. There is a HUGE difference from teacher/student ratio and behavior management. They offer so many after school programs such as student council, volt, steam, tutoring, choir, athletics for elementary students. Teachers have great communication methods to insure you are able to connect with them if you have any questions or concerns. I would highly recommend this school to anyone considering enrolling.

As a parent and staff member of JSA I can say that this is a school on its way to being a Distinguished campus! I would not have my children here if I did not KNOW that this is a safe, nurturing, and academically responsible school.

This school is a joke. They do nothing about kids being bullied and keep allowing more and more bad kids into there school just to reach there so called number they need for enrollment. I would tell any parents considering this school dont waste your time. Some teachers there are great and should really consider another school its the administration that is horrible. This school definitely lets the bullies and the bad kids run this place. Parents please do your research before subjecting your kids to this place.

Jubilee is a good school theres 2 teachers that will have the best attitude ever they can always make your day there names are Mr.Rosales and Mr.Leos very cool teacher if you need help with history ask Mr.Rosales hell give you the answer right away and if you need help on an essay then Mr.Leos is there he will have you with the best essay in the school

I teach math to 6th and 8th graders on the campus of Jubilee San Antonio. I have taught across the San Antonio area and I can assure parents and students that the curriculum is of the highest caliber. We really strive to connect students to the material and push them to do their personal best. All of us truly care for our students and want them to succeed academically and personally.

I feel as if this school is STILL trying to work its way out of training wheels. Its not all that bad, its a decent school. Ive gone to other schools much worse than this one. With that being said, there are still flaws.I attended this school since it opened and Ive had a pretty awful experience when it came to bullying. It had gotten to the point where I dreaded going to school. I felt the staff didnt care. Despite talking to the principal, vice principal, and writing numerous complaints to the counselor nothing happened. My bullies hardly even got a slap on the wrist.It progressively got worse.One of my bullies would flash his genitalia to everyone. Again, despite addressing the issue, nothing happened.Just last year someone wrote a suicide note in a bathroom stall possibly due to bullying as well. Should it really have to get to that point for action to be taken? I understand that no matter what, bullying will never go away, but it shouldnt get to the point kids feel killing themselves is the only answer.This school never batted an eye when it came to my bullying but oh boy, they really went crazy whenever I tried using the restroom.I wait for passing period to use the restroom to avoid missing out on class time AND THERES A FREAKING COACH ALWAYS BLOCKING IT. She tells me to get a pass but how can I? Its passing period. If I go to class to get a pass Im told Why didnt you go during passing period? You shouldve gone. If Im lucky enough to be allowed to go I have to wait 10 minutes. Its ridiculous.Its gotten to the point Ive had to resort to physically pushing this coach so I could go. Im not about to piss myself because of her. Im not a violent person at all, I actually felt bad for pushing her, but Im tired of playing these games. If I have to go, I. Go.

My child has been going to school here since it opened (5 years). Most of the staff are friendly however there are some (working the front counter) who think they work in a prison. And don’t let our fearless leader mr. Gomez fool you either. He is a wolf in sheeps clothing. But then again most principals are. I don’t feel he has the individual children in mind. He will call just about everyday and give some sort of report on how the school is doing with absences but he won’t share things like bathroom breaks being limited to a few times a day and finding worms in the school cafeteria. Or even relinquish info on why the school was locked down. I think this school would be wonderful if they cut the head off the snake .

With the exception of a few, the teachers are horrible! Most are super rude, treat you like you’re an idiot if you don’t understand right away and don’t teach ANYTHING. Too many substitutes. The female coaches are BULLIES!!! The principals are always “in a meeting” when a parent tries to contact them. This school sucks, your children are better off in a public school.

As a first year teacher it is great to have the amount of support to help these students succeed academically and in life. I wish I would of had the college prep, and leadership culture when I was in school.

Very disappointed with the staff. They refuse to give kids homework. The staff tries to be kids best friends and not teach. Then if a kid has to use bathroom, they are denied and told if they do go, they will get a 0. Bullying is not only tolerated here, but embraced by the teachers. Teachers are more worried about uniforms and wearing hoodies than taking correct roll call. This school needs to be shut down.

I had the worst experience here ! My son attended this school for kinder & we loved it so we moved out the area and my son went to idea but wanted to come back .He was a Straight A student and never had problems & i felt this school just got worse i didnt have problems last year but this year just from the jump I kept getting phone calls my son was acting out I just thought its so od cause we never had this problem then every day after I got a call .My son is a good kid if youre firm hell listen to you but on the other hand if he Sees you dont care or cant seem to deal with him he will get frustrated like any other kid .My Sons Father passed away last year so my son has been going thru something but i didnt this school would throw him out for this they offered consoling but they threw him out before he started ! His teacher name was Ms.ortiz i just felt she didnt know what was doing cause now my son is doing fine as his next school .it could of been cause she was pregnant thats fine and all but I fell my son doesnt get the right teaching or attention he needs when a teacher is pregnant cause they have to leave during the school year and the kids have to adjust to another teacher & everything . I dont know if she gets frustrated fast or what .It honestly just make it harder on the little ones im Just VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS SCHOOL on how they handled this honestly this isnt professional at all you should be a school trying to help all kinds of kids . They also did nothing when my son was getting bullied .

Parking Lot pick up and drop off is horrible. I dread every morning. At least once a week theres some type of road rage drama. The teachers keep quitting and switching classes. The kids never have homework, grades fluctuate horribly from one grading term to the next. My child has been at that school since the first year they opened and unfortunately I am going to return him to the Judson Independent School District because this has been a joke. I just hope hes not behind when he gets there next year. This has been the worst decision I ever made concerning my child and I tried to stick it out as much as I could. I know a few teachers that should be fired if there were only cameras in these classrooms we could find out whats really going on.

The only thing i learned from this school was how to identify a person that could potentially hurt you. My 7th grade year my English teacher sexually harassed one of my classmates. The academic dean had fired the last of the good teachers in the school, leaving subs for kids and allowing in class fights with no consequences. The only time there was a way of discipline was when i was accused of cyber bullying without evidence of me doing so, taking time out of my class i was interrogated and falsely slandered for acts i did not commit. I met really great friends out of here, but the pep-rallies we left class for were unnecessary. The lunch room was about 1/4 the size of a basketball court that they had installed. Having 30 minutes to eat, with lines that lasted 20 minutes, the cramped spaces to sit would pinch fingers and bruised legs. Out of my experience and many others, we all do not like the Principal Mr.Gomez due to the wrongful termination of many hardworking and deserving teachers, the school was left with riot-like hallways and after school fights. Leaving this school was the best thing that ever happened in my academic life.

There is a principle named wagner and my son had a seizure and he judt left him there didnt treat and he got suspended for disrupting the class when we didnt know what was going on and he was having a seizure dont take your kids here

School is a joke. Claim to have homeschool program but no learning is actually done.Its basically buying a high school diploma for $275The graduation ceremony was awful. Not recommend if the person really wants the education instead of the paper.
