My children went there for several years. Some of the teachers were very nice and professional but others had no business teaching. My child came home and told me about one instance where the teacher kicked a student that was acting out in class. She kicked him and stepped on his leg on purpose to hold him down. I was in shock and began to sit in the classroom to keep an eye out. I wasnt going to let her do that to another student. Public schools are no better. It is so much safer to homeschool your children.

I have to question why teachers use Las Vegas (& next year New Orleans) as a conference destination. Just how much resource learning for their teaching methods can be gained from constant partying at these locations? The large amount of money used for these far off conferences can most certainly better be used for their schools. Webinars are a whole lot less expensive.

HIGGS CARTER KING SCHOOL WAS HOME TO MY KIDS WE LOVED ALL TEACHERS AND STAFF MEMBERS.ITS SO SAD THAT SCHOOL LIKE THIS R BEING CLOSED DOWN WEN WE NEED THE EDUCATION THAT HIGGS CARTER KING SCHOOL PROVIDED FOR MY KIDS IN OUR LIFES.I PRAY THAT IT REA OPENS AS HCK AGAIN ....MISS THIS SCHOOL SO MUCH 😢😢😢😢

I was a student there kindergarten through second grade and i hated it there the teachers were mean to all students they didnt give us the attention we needed so when i went to woodlawn academy i had to get alot of help because i didnt understand anything from second grade but now im entering the sixth grade and woodlwan dosent have a very high curriculum but the teachers are amazing and everyone is very nice and its easy to make friends i had a wonderful three years there
