The teachers are very energetic and willing to help new students. The routines may seem like hard work but it pays off when the kids perform.

This was the first dance school that my daughter attended when she was 4. I love the see through window. It gave me peace of mind. She loves her teacher. She is caring and strict (in a good way). They instill discipline in the dance class they are taking. The front desk staff are wonderful.

We have had such an awesome experience at Kathy Marfins dance school. The teachers and staff are very friendly and professional. My daughter has just completed her fourth year at KMDS and we couldnt be more pleased! Her love of dance is nurtured at this studio. All the instructors are very talented and really care about their dancers. They not only teach phenomenal technique but they make the classes fun for their students. I highly recommend this school.

My daughter attends the jazz, ballet and tap classes here and I absolutely love the staff and instructor. We enrolled her into the classes earlier in 2017 because of a promotion they were offering ($125 for 8 classes). We were not planning on going further than the 8 classes but my daughter expressed how much she loved the lessons and wanted to continue after the 2017-2018 school year started in August. So my husband and I enrolled her into the year long classes and shes definitely maturing her love for dancing. If you are looking for a great dance studio, I would definitely suggest Kathy Marfins Dance School.

The dance teaching is really good you can tell that the teachers are there to teach and help a child grow. Unfortunately, the lack of management is what is giving the rating that they have. They the owners decided to do pictures themselves instead of hiring the same company that use to them for them. I understand that they were trying to save money but come on its December 2015 and my daughter took recital pictures in May and I still have not received any of them. I spent a lot of money on these pictures and still have not received anything back. Was told in the middle of summer that 99% of the pictures were going to be coming in at the studio and if we did not like them that they would redo the shoots again, that never happened. Now being told that they are doing a re-grand opening at their other location by MacArthur High School. What about the OConner location? That ones totally needs to be updated since the majority of the business is at that location. Management needs to figure out how to do a better job delegating issues and compensating the fact not ALL PICTURES are in yet either. Totally unprofessional part on their behalf. If your name was on the company and as well as your legacy wouldnt you want to make sure that you are doing everything possible to help the customers that you have so they dont leave? They need to get their priorities straight!!!!

My daughter has been taking classes there for 5 years and absolutely loves it. Its been amazing to watch her grow, both as a dancer and as a person. Its truly a wonderful dance school that teaches much more than just dancing.

My daughter, who is now 9, just finished her fourth year at KMDS. I have been impressed with everything about the school. The teachers are not only well versed in multiple forms of dance; they have a passion to bring that knowledge to a new generation of dancers. I have seen my child, who was bashful and self conscience, blossom into a confident young girl who loves to express herself through movement and perform that passion for others. I cant thank KMDS enough for bringing that out in her. Your child will be treated more than a paying customer, they will be educated with growth in mind and treated like family by everyone there!

I cant even begin to express how happy I am with Kathy Marfins. Theres something special about a place where people go, and continue to go to for many years. My daughter started dancing at 2 in the mommy and me class and this is her 7th year there. I wouldnt go anywhere else. She admires every single one of her teachers because of their talent, willingness to help her learn, and making her love of dance fun and enjoyable, and lets not forget how patient they are! She looks up to the older girls that are helpers, thinks of them as big sisters, and tells me how she wants to be just like them one day. Im grateful for the staff who have done so much for the students and parents there. They have such big hearts and it feels great to walk in and be welcomed with a smile. Information is given well enough in advance so that youre not scrambling around last minute. As much time as we have spent there, the dance school has really become family. It has been such a pleasure to be a part of it.

My kids and I love this place!! Callen, Reagan, and Hailey 💜💜💜!!! They lay a great foundation for young dancers, bring out your kids confidence, push them to be and do their best, and love them all while doing it.

My daughter Roz has been going to KMDS for almost 3 years now and we love them! My son is in Tae Kwon Do with Momentum Martial Arts within KMDS and our 3 year old will start in the spring...we enjoy the family atmosphere they provide and the instructors are sweet yet still implement a consistent learning environment. The prices are competitive and the recitals are so much fun!

Three years ago I found KMDS by chance, surfing the internet searching for a dance studio for my then 3 year old.Now I have two girls who are dancing at KMDS. My oldest has been dancing there for three years and my youngest for two years. The dedication that all of KMDS staff gives to every child is amazing. they care for our kids and want them to have fun, excel, and to try their best. They are more than willing to try and accommodate your schedule by offering multiple different class everyday of the week, except Sunday.Both of my girls love dancing at KMDS. From regular classes to the recitals the girls have fun and are growing in their techniques and skill level. I cant see my girls wanting to dance anywhere else!
