Today I finished school at the Healthcare Institute. I have to say this was the best decision I’ve ever made. The knowledge I’ve gained I’ll take with me for the rest of my career. Ms. Back is the greatest teacher I’ve had in all my years. She’s so patient and kind. She mixes teaching with having fun and it makes it easier to learn. Mr. & Mrs Holt are the sweetest, kindest people. Mr. Campos is always eager to answer any questions and gives the best advice. Everyone there makes you feel so welcomed and loved. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone who is ready to take the next step in their career.

The Staff and the owners are so hospitable and nice. The way they communicate to the students are so down to earth. They keep us updated with all of the happening in school. Thumbs up! I’m a current student at the Healthcare Institute. This school is amazing! They actually care about your well being and education! The owners are the most down to earth and sweet people! The teachers and staff are all so welcoming and they push you to go in the right direction! I’m glad I’m attending here, don’t pass this school up! They’re also doing a lot of new improvements to the school which is very nice! 10 out of 10! (:

Used to work here. Do not go here, totally unorganized. They’re main goal is to get your FAFSA money and they do not teach you what you need to succeed.

Great way to further education. I have a bachelors degree and I learned way more hands on stuff here than I ever did getting my undergrad. Definitely recommend this school over any other vocational school.

Highly Recommend!!! This school is super special, from the rest of the other technical schools in San Antonio, in my opinion. After meeting the Holts during the first interview at admissions they truly inspired me to make the Impossible, Possible! They work with your financial status. Mrs. Holt (School Director) is the absolute most sweetest, kindest, approachable person I had the pleasure of getting to know. She is always open to any questions you may have and, she is very understanding compassionate about her job.Then their is another wonderful lady, Ms. Kim Wright, (Education Coordinator) is always on top of everything we need as students. Her dedication and positive attitude is always a breath of fresh air, her warm smile and greetings make you feel special no matter the type of day it is.Then theirs the star of the show, Mrs. Cano is the instructor who makes learning ever so much fun, she is very passionate and dedicated about her students. She leaves no student left behind, she will take the time to give you one on one tutoring and will make the most difficult lessons seem easy.... I truly enjoyed being a student in her class! Former student who experienced instructors with poor knowledge and a director who retaliated against me when I notified the owner of what was going on. Had to leave and go to a much better school. Also had to sue for the retaliation and for them double charging me for several classes.

As with any place where people from different walks of life meet. U can run into loud and obnoxious people. Thats my only negative experience. Which rhe school is not at fault

Terrible

Right now Ive been trying to help my friend schedule her exam to get her CNA certification. You will think they would help. I asked if I could go in and take her so the can show her how to register. All the lady said she would have to go to Pearson VUE and gave the school id code. Then I went to the website she told me to I couldnt register because it asked for a candidate id. I called back again and she said she had no idea I would have to call Pearson Vue to see what that means. You would think they are getting money/funded they would help.

Im a current student who absolutely loves this school! Ive received my CNA & working on my MA now. The staff is the best & are more like family. They walked me through the financial aid process which was always confusing at a regular college & nobody will sit with you one on one like they have. All the students in my class are a close knit group & work so well with each other. The teacher Mrs. Cano is well educated & knowledgeable on everything she teaches. Miss Wright is honestly the most helpful person in the staff she goes the extra mile to help us all, shes helped me with problems at home to even finding a home ! But I cant say one staff member is better than the other they all go above and beyond the call for the students here including the owners. The Holts are so welcoming & you get to know them one on one & help you just as much as anyone in the building would do if you decided to enroll. Mrs. Holt even got me a scholarship something in my wildest dream never thought I would ever receive!!! They really made coming back to school after being out for years a great experience and one Ill never forget.

Run look the other way, staff unprofessional, place is ghetto, not good on resume. All about your Money.
