The best way to describe East Rowan is a cynical hole. After two weeks of being here I have felt negatively impacted. My peers are being over effected by stress. I have been told that I am not capable of doing anything in my life. 1/3 of the teachers are like this. 2/3 are trying with what they have. Last year an incident happened on campus where a student was nearly strangled to death. I have no words for this.

Literally lived all over the U.S. My kids have been to a lot of schools over the years. My husband was military, hence the moves. Worst school. I could write pages. As long as youre from here, your parents went here etc. You should be fine. Very clickish. I got calls that my son was wearing ripped jeans more than once.On the way to the office to bring him unripped jeans I would see 30+ kids with ripped jeans. They lost paperwork faxed to them of some of my sons credits from other schools. We were never told or notified. I never even knew until after he graduated late. They didnt care, Period. He never got those credits added even though they were faxed multiple times. Good communication about ripped jeans, other than that no communication.

Teachers are treated terribly and rarely stay more than 2 years. Those who do are great but face a school system and administration that is out of touch, has no respect, and overwhelms the teachers with too much unnecessary work.

Made it out of there in 81. So far... so good

I was at east rowan for one year and then I moved from what I saw it was a awsome school

This place suuuucks and the bathrooms smell like cigarettes.

Best food in town!
