Nouvel has been awesome for my family. I feel my kids are getting an excellent education as well as learning important christian values. Nouvel feels like a family and every staff member and volunteer are great with all the kids and truly care about each child.

This is our 7th year as a Nouvel Elementary School family. We have been incredibly pleased with the experience and the education our three children have received. They have had warm, caring teachers who have challenged them when they needed it and worked alongside them when they struggled. Nouvel provides a strong academic curriculum, religious education and faith formation, art, music, computer, and PE, as well as many extracurriculars and sports programs.Last year, when the COVID-19 crisis hit and schools closed, Nouvel sent us home with schoolwork that very same day. Without missing a beat, our children were able to continue their class work in written and online form just as they had grown accustomed to in the classroom. They had regular, weekly interaction with their teachers and fellow students via Zoom. The teachers were attentive and responsive to questions from parents and students as we navigated homeschool together. We were grateful to have the support and resources Nouvel provided and felt our children kept pace very well, despite the unusual circumstances. They received grades for the time they were at home and were motivated to finish the year strong.We were warmly welcomed into the Nouvel family when our oldest was in preschool and now our youngest will be starting preschool this fall. His big sisters cant wait to show him around and we look forward to hearing his stories about school. Nouvel is a wonderful.

I love this school! My children are learning at rapid speed and are learning christian values at the same time. The only thing that I would change is the amount of homework. Two hours of homework per night really hinders us to be able to do extra curricular activities.

There is a very caring community that comes with being a part of Nouvel. My kids and I both love being a part of it all! Great education, and a great staff.

By far the best education in all of Saginaw County. There is no place like home for our kids. The education is top notch and the kids excel.

I love the sense of community at Nouvel. Parents, faculty, staff are all involved and looking out for our kids.

For a Catholic school they dont treat you in a very Christian manner. Principal and upper administration are witches. There is a teacher there with many complaints against her yet nothing is done. Admin just lets the little children suffer in her classroom. Bishop needs to be made aware of what is going on! School uses Common Core practices and materials as well as standardized testing aligned to the Common Core. All confusing to the children and unnecesary. Parochial schools are not expected to use this yet NCCE does. Look in a different diocese for a parochial school that uses a classical Catholic curriculum, like Lansing or Gaylord.

Wonderful school, friendly families...a place where kids learn, love, and lead... courageously.

Just a great school! Couldnt be more happy as a parent with the education that my kids are receiving at NCCE!!
