As a former student of NMS I must say the school is pretty good the only real problems is one the food gross and two some of the staff have a tendency to lie or over exaggerate. Over all it is a pretty good school the students arent really disrespectful and the teachers seem to know what they are doing.

I would like to try and reach out to current parents at this school...I am extremely concerned about the teachers and the way my son is being taught. And would like to know if any other parents are concerned about how many substitutes they have because they cant keep a full time staff...and the fact that they let the kids play on their phones during majority of class so they can catch up on whatever they are doing. I understand that being a teacher is hard...I have family member that is a 6th grade teacher and she is flabbergasted on how the school is not addressing these serious issues. My son is a very intellectual boy and is bei g held back because he is not being challenged nor taught.

Two of my children went here. Both were bullied to the point that they couldnt concentrate in class. Nothing was ever done to stop the bullying. Also my son had a teacher that took a definite dislike to him and would grade his tests differently. Even with proof nothing was ever done. I was glad when my kids started high school.

This school, before I transferred to Norwood back in 2012, looked very nice at first glance. I later found out that bullying was kinda widespread. Some of the students were bad, and some were good, but I still didnt feel safe. On the first day, I was late after lunch because the lunch line was so long and so far from the classroom buildings. I would even say that I wish I had PE directly before lunch. One last thing, it didnt make sense that English classes took 2 entire periods. It seems as if the other subjects werent as important.

The staff here are very caring and do their absolute best for every kid they come in contact with.

The school has been great so far..

Huge bullying problem. The staff sides with the bullies and does nothing try to fix the problem. The staff exaggerates and lies to cover up whats really going on.

My friend goes to this school and she tells me how bad it is, and that she gets picked on constantly. Its sad cause she has to go to a therapist just because of it. None of the teachers do anything about it and I wish they would do something about it.

The school has after school program it is nice

I go here and literally, a student was talking to me and bothering me and i said stop talking to me. and she sends me out the class...WHAT!?

This school sucks my principal gave me detention for wearing a nike hat because it was inappropriate the teachers do nothing to stop bullying and the bully other students

This school is bloody filth, there are fights everywhere and cant survive a day without hearing the n word, i would rate 0 if i could.
