This place should not take children under 5. My 17 mo old grandson was there temporarily and immediately became fretful. He also developed bowel problems and had to sit in his urine and feces all day. When I saw his rash, it was quite severe. Even with his parents contacting them to care for his rash, it only got worse. That was a week ago and he still has patches that have not healed yet. If I was able, I wouldve been in the managers face. Instead, I am posting this as a warning. To parents, and to this establishment: If you cannot provide precious beings under 5, the appropriate care, THEN DO NOT CALL YOURSELF A DAY CARE. Limit intake to older kids!!! No Way will my grandson ever step foot through your door again.

We had used them before, in December 2019, and had no issues. We wanted to go enjoy a nice evening for our anniversary on Friday and planned to use them again for our two children. The hours posted on Google stated they were still open until 12:30 am and they did not have the disclaimer showing their hours may be affected by COVID. I had looked on their website for their COVID policies and changes as well. When we arrived at 6:45 pm a lady immediately came outside and said we had to have a reservation and that they close at 8 because of COVID anyway. Mind you, we had not even made it to the door or mentioned what hours we were needing. We told her that the website mentioned nothing about needing a reservation other than for infants and that the hour change was not posted either. She said all the kids were gone and her last one was about to leave and that reservations were the policy. We checked their signage on the building and their website again. There is absolutely nothing there stating that reservations are required. I did finally find their hours had been changed on the website but that information was not easy to find and was not mentioned at all in the COVID changes. This was an extremely frustrating experience and the owner needs to update their website to accurately reflect any changes.

Our girls have been coming here for nearly a year. We love everything about this place! The teachers are so nice and are wonderful with children. The director takes extra care to make sure everything is running smoothly. The kids get to do fun activities in preschool. Id highly recommend Wanna Play for anyone needing preschool, daycare, or even just drop-in care for a date night.

We have been taking our daughter to the Wanna Play in Round Rock since we moved to Texas over a year ago. She was just over 2 at the time and we didnt know how shed do with strangers because she generally only stayed with family. Well, she loved it! We felt it was a clean and safe facility with a great staff. She has been going there ever since and shes always excited to go to, what she calls, the play place! She loves the staff and playing with all the children. She feels its a special treat when she gets to eat dinner with everyone and shes especially happy when its pizza night! We would certainly recommend Wanna Play to others looking for drop-in childcare or childcare on a regular basis. Its great!

Update July 2018: I would still give this place 5 stars. My daughter is almost 5 and still loves coming here. She recently got to go with her 1 year old brother, and was elated. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about procedures for older infants/younger toddlers, as I had never dropped my daughter off when she was as young as my son is now. My son came back to me in a dry diaper, and the only reason he was upset was because he had to stop playing with a toy. Great communication about my sons day and a report was provided for me at pick. Love the staff and love that both my kids enjoy going! My daughter (3) really loves going here! Staff always friendly and caring. You know they treat your kid well when she keeps asking (sometimes practically begging) when she gets to go back.

Our son, Ezra, has been coming here since he was 3 months old. He’s currently 3 years old and still loves seeing his friends as well as the group of amazing caregivers. Wanna Play does an outstanding job with giving attention to the children who attend there. They’ve helped Ezra develop his learning, speech, and interaction skills tremendously. We truly feel lucky that Wanna Play is so close to home, and feel very comfortable having them look after our little monster. I would highly recommend giving them a visit to see all of the wonderful things they do, especially if you’re in the Round Rock/Hutto area. There really isn’t any competition.

The staff is always friendly and if you prepay for hours, the prices arent too bad. Love that they are open at night and on the weekends. Great for date nights. I wish they were better staffed on the weekends. You may have to call a week on advance to make sure they have room available.

My daughter had a great time! I was in a bind due to a last minute cancellation so I decided to try Wanna Play. I loved the security of the facility and my daughter loved the pizza, games, movies and the staff. Even better she was tired and ready for bed from playing when I picked her up. Definitely worth trying. Nice facility, lots of things for the kids to do and reasonable rates even more affordable than many sitters.

Im super kissed off right now. Just picked my child up and still had the milk I dropped off with him. Hes 6 months old. I asked why didnt he eat. They explained he did. I said how when I still have a full bottle of milk. They had no answer. So my son ate/drank someone else milk and then also had a knot above his left eye. And this isnt even the first incident. They are young kids working there that dont have kids themselves. Im never going back to this establishment again. I hope no one goes through what I did there. If you go just be careful.

My 5 year old loves going to Wanna Play. Their late hours on Friday and Saturday make it easy to handle childcare on date nights. The staff is always enthusiastic and I enjoy knowing my child is learning through play each time he attends. Id give it 5 stars if they opened on Sunday too!

My daughters have been going to Wanna Play for preschool and drop-in childcare for about 7 months. I really like it and gladly recommend it to other parents - especially stay at home moms looking for a break. My 3 year olds attend preschool one day a week and usually visit a few more hours a week as drop-ins. I love that i can drop off early or pick up late on school days without any stress. I also like the flexible policies for make-up days if a child misses their normal preschool day due to sickness. The staff are friendly, professional to me, fun to the kids, and receptive to listen to suggestions or problems. It can be a little hectic on days when school-aged kids are out of regular school, but even those days work out for us - the staff do well to keep an eye on the younger kids. This is not the most rigorous preschool program, academically. But, thats not what Im looking for-- I want a safe, friendly place for my kids to be around others, learn some life lessons, and have fun while I work or just eat lunch in peace. Sending my kids to Wanna Play gives me the break I need to be a better mom and teach them at home.Bottom line: my kids are happy and Im happy. Definitely recommended.

Wanna Play Round Rock has been excellent with my girls. Being a single dad to twins (21 months) they have taken away my cautiousness of putting my girls in daycare. I have noticed in the 3 months of taking them there the difference of what socialization can do for their growth in learning. I especially want to thank the Director Jessica for prompting me to leave my girls throughout the whole day. Jessica called me to reassure me that they were taken care of during their lunch and nap time.If you are considering this place I would suggest you do it. My girls are thriving and could always use more friends.

I can not say enough great things about Wanna Play! My son is now 7 and he has been attending both locations since he was 4. The drop in availability is awesome! No one else has the flexibility and hours available like Wanna Play. It doesnt matter if I need to drop him off on Saturday or leave him late night on Friday, I know the staff will take care of him! I have recommended it to several friends and my sister-in-law. Now they use it regularly too! I have new baby and when Im ready to drop her off, I will not hesitate using Wanna Play! Last but not least, my son LOVES it!!!!

My kids come here from time to time and they have fun. It helps so much that they have lollipops in a bowl so that kids know that they have something to look forward to when it is pick up time. My 2 yr old grandson attends Wanna Play in Round Rock and at first I thought this was the perfect place and it seemed ok but after a few times of picking him up I noticed each time he was brought out his face was dirty and he didnt look well kept, not to mention the few pairs of socks that he has lost there. About 2 months ago I went to pick him up after work and when they brought him out to me he smelled like he hadnt been changed so I asked them if his diaper was changed and the lady there said that she would take him back and change his diaper and check to see if he had been changed. Long story short.... my grandson was there for about 4 hours sitting in feces and he suffered burns to his bottom because of this. I was so upset because he was not walking normal due to the pain he was in. I was told that he was not changed due to an oversight and that I would hear back from the owner about this and I have yet to hear back from anyone. I did first talk with the director about the incident in which I explained my anger about the situation but I was told I would receive a call back and to this day I have yet to hear anything. I have repeatedly asked the girl at the front about hearing back from anyone and all she says is that she will let someone know that I was asking. This should not be tolerated, for atleast a month my grandson was scared and would cry each time he needed his diaper changed because he was afraid of the pain. Shame on the owner and even the director for not even calling back. The level of professionalism Ive seen here is the worst!
