I’ve experienced two other daycare centers for my children before KidStop. I can tell you my kids are very happy with KidStop more than the other centers they’ve been too. From the director to the teachers, they make your kids feel like family here. The center has separate rooms for each class, huge backyard space for outdoor play, extra curricular classes if you want your child to receive jumpstart classes before elementary school, the list goes on! The location is close to the heart of Rockville and so convenient for those parents that takes the metro to work. Cleanliness, communication, and academic is the key for this daycare. I would definitely recommend this center for any parents.

We are very happy to call this childcare center our home for over 4 years now, but I wanted to share specifics in light of what the center has done to help families adjust in the era of Covid-19. In no particular order, I recommend this institution for:1) The staff & teachers. At the end of the day, every teacher weve come to know would put their lives on the line for our children. This is especially true with the schools reopening during the Covid-19 public health epidemic (PHE). The teachers are faced with the challenges of teaching while wearing face masks and implementing the highest health and safety protocols. Yet, our children return home at the end of the day singing upbeat songs about washing their hands and talking affectionately about their care givers who strive to make their lives feel as normal as possible.2) The health and safety protocols in place. This is especially important during the Covid-19 PHE. Last summer, new center management focused on giving the center a face lift, and they did a terrific job (more space for children to play in newly opened classrooms, for example). They stepped it up when the school reopened during the Covid-19 PHE, by implementing pods in the school to keep children and teachers as safe as possible (limiting the number of persons that enter a classroom, for example). Their protocols have made the school feel like the safest and healthiest option for our children (both physically and mentally) during these unprecedented times, and I actually hope their practices will remain in place long after the PHE, because pick up and drop off is much easier when parents dont need to enter the classrooms.3) An assortment of other things that dont need further description: a dynamic menu that encourages children to try different foods on a daily basis; a safe and adequate outdoor space for children to play outside; an easy to use app that allows us to see pictures and videos throughout the day; and, a modern curriculum that focuses on learning through play (my favorite is home living, where an area in the classroom is fashioned into an everyday place, like a fitness center or grocery store, that the children can operate and manage on their own).

Our daughter started attending KidStop at 18 months and is now four years old. We are grateful for the stability it has provided her, and that she was able to return when the center re-opened at a later stage of the pandemic. The teachers and staff show their love and care for our daugher on a regular basis. They greet her warmly, and come over to give her special attention if she seems upset. It was very hard for her to be away from her Kidstop friends during the shutdown, and while it was a transition for her to come back, we saw a big improvement in her mood right away. The director has done a great job in handling the new safety protocols. One positive change is the lower ratio of students to teachers. I think that our daughter benefits from the smaller class size.Staff did a very good job of keeping things fun and special over the summer. Prior to the pandemic, they had a lot of fun summer camp programming. This year they could not bring in outside staff, but they found creative ways to make things fun for the kids, including a lot of outdoor activities.

I cant say how much this center has helped me and my family, even during these trying times. My daughter started at KidStop when she was 3 months old. As a first time mom and single parent my anxiety level was high. The thought of leaving her and going back to work was terrifying, but the teachers and staff helped me through it, making the transition very easy. Since then, each stage my daughter has gone through they were there guiding us, even sharing tips that worked for their kids at that stage. That partnership between director, teacher and parent helped during quarantine and the transition back. We got updates from the director on where they were in the reopening stage and the steps being taken by the center to ensure the kids returning where in a safe space/pod. My daughter was happy to be back at school it helped ease the anxiety she had being at home. The teachers and staff at KidStop are very knowledgeable and helpful, especially now with everyone slowly transitioning back to work. You can see it in the smiling faces of the kids who have returned. The app is a great tool for parents and helps with fostering the partnership between parents, teachers and staff members. This center has truly been bright spot for us.

Teachers are amazing. My son has been going here for over a year since we moved and I have never met such amazing teachers. They are always engaged with the children and participating in spirit weeks to make school more comfortable for the children. The center has become even better under the New director Ms. Stephanie. They offer terrific programs for enhanced learning like music and phonics. I love this center

As a first time momma, I couldnt be happier with Kidstop. My daughter started at 3 months and has been going for almost 2 months now. I was so nervous to put my child in a daycare center and immediately thought “they aren’t gonna care about her like I do” but the teachers and Directors (Steph and Cassie) have shown me that’s not the case. Everyone was so excited to welcome my daughter and everyday they welcome us by name. Every staff member I’ve met so far are always upbeat and look happy to be there. I absolutely love the app they use. It tells you feedings, diaper changes, naps, and multiple pictures everyday along with an explanation of what they are learning that day! The app also allows you to message teachers/directors which they are on top of responding back quickly! I am so thankful to have found this amazing daycare!

My child has been enrolled at Kidstop for 2 weeks now, going on 3 weeks, and I am very pleased. I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for a safe and caring daycare. They give you a code to get in the facility and the whole daycare is fenced. My child and me cried on his first day. Stephanie, the director, worked with me and helped me feel less anxious. After I picked him up he said I LOVE this school. I want to come back everyday I was so happy he enjoyed his time!

Ive had one daughter enrolled at Kidstop for over a year now and just enrolled my 4 month old during the pandemic. I previously had my older daughter in another daycare and several nanny situations. The programming at Kidstop has been a breath of fresh air. Pre-pandemic, they had flexible drop off and pick up hours and partnered with me in my daughters development. After experiencing no daycare for a few months during the pandemic, Im extremely grateful that they are open again and trust their safety procedures. Theyve also done a great job keeping me updated with my childrens development--which is tough now that we arent able to interact directly, in person, with the teachers. They utilize an app and I get several alerts a day. They are also very responsive with the messaging tool. Having the support and security during this time is more important than ever.

Both of my sons has been attending this place since infancy and I have to say- I can go to work comfortably knowing that they will be treated with great care. For me, safety, cleanliness, and trust are my three must haves for a childcare. Any issues or problems that may come up, the staff will address it right away. Any concerns that you may have- they will also look into it immediately. Weve been blessed through many years from this childcare.

Since coming under new leadership about a year ago, the care and education at KidStop has been increasingly fantastic. Highlighted by the challenges brought on by COVID-19, Im so impressed at the procedures and policies enacted by the center. It was a hard decision to return our kids to daycare, but having a place we can truly trust has been a lifesaver in these tough times. Our kids have thrived at KidStop, and while it is not an easy decision to return to in-person daycare, the staff and teachers at KidStop have provided the support we need during this difficult time.

We enrolled our 4 month old daughter in September and we love the center!! At first, we were really afraid for several reasons. First, we are in the middle of a pandemic and we wanted to keep our daughter as safe as possible. Second my daughter was not used to bottles at all. She refused to take them at home. Since the beginning Ms. Stephanie (center director) and Ms. Cassie (Assistant center director) addressed my concerns regarding safety and the bottle training. They worked together with me to make sure that my daughter was eating properly. The center is kept clean and they were very flexible in trying different bottles until she got used too. Another plus of the center are the teachers, for sure! They are very loving and caring toward the infants. In the end of my daughters first week she was already taking all her bottles!! One big advantage is the app where they post in real time activities, notes, pictures and videos. It is very reassuring to know that your kid is learning, enjoying daycare and being well treated. Also communication with both teachers and directors is great and they are always helpful and responsive. Ms. Nilda, Ms. Kanthi and Ms. Mina and all the other caretakers are great and kind toward the children.I could not recommend this center enough!!!!

My child has been attending this daycare since October 2015, and has gone from infant room to pre-k class. We have seen a lot of changes and seen directors, teachers, and children come and go. Overall, this is a good place for my child, who has special needs. It was the teacher who first suggested we went to the county for additional evaluation. And the director encouraged us to give it a try by sharing her personal experience. We were so glad that we followed their recommendations. Both the leadership team and teachers have been supportive since my child started receiving services from the county and private providers. We understand that things dont always work out perfectly, and the Center doesnt have limitless resources. We do feel that all the directors, teachers and staff we have known care about my child and all other children sincerely. Two features I like about this Center: 1) they provide videos, photos and descriptions of daily activities through an App; and 2) the summer camp is wonderful.

I used to come here when I was.. 3? 4? Very young. I’m now 22 and I just want to say that I still have absolutely great memories from this wonderful daycare. If anyone could help me figure out what my teachers name was, she gave me this little dog stuffed animal that I carried around everywhere, then I moved and I hope she’s doing well after all these years. she was so sweet to me. Thanks kids stop for these awesome memories !

Our son has been at KidStop since he was 4 months old and the teachers have all been fabulous. While everyone is caring, energetic, and professional, Id particularly like to recognize Ms. Nilda, Ms. Kanthi, Ms. India, Ms. Sean, and Ms. Julie, with whom we have interacted most frequently. Thank you so much for taking such amazing care of our child while we are at work.

This place is filthy. We went for a walk through of the infant room and ended up seeing a teacher yelling at a kid and yanking him by his arm and an unsecured building where we were able to walk in the front door without being greeted we had to walk in and witness a teacher yelling at a kid in one of the classrooms to be noticed. Very unsafe! I will attach a picture of the dust I got off the headboard of the crib as we looked in the infant room, this is gross someone needs to investigate this place it is very sketchy, I dont know how parents who love their kids drop them off here and go to work without worrying.

My son is going thru some behavior issues and this daycare counted him out right away within hours. This led me to believe like Kindercare this establishment is money driven and a facade of a daycare. I was very transparent about his special needs and they assured me they had a time of experts to help. ( which they should considering hat tuition rate) While Angel was warm and nice, the actual director seems to think too much of herself which is off putting. My son didnt even have the chance to get acclimated before they gave up on him. With the director being a woman of color, one would think she would be vested in my sons future. If your child have with special needs do not waste your time. I was very disappointed in the same enterprise I attended as a child. Great news is my son now in an environment where he gets the attention and supports he needs.

My second review 2020: Each year, my love and enthusiasm for Kidstop continues to grow. Each teacher, each staff member, each family weve come into contact with has truly become our village. As transplants, we feel Kidstop has provided us with resources to help us feel a sense of community with our two children enrolled. Our two year old is thriving with the curriculum and the friendships made with both the staff and kids. There is nothing like picking up your child and the first thing they say is Fun at school. Our 4 month old daughter is being exposed to so many different experiences that we know could only be provided by Kidstop. My first review from 2019: As a first time mom, I couldnt be happier with Kidstop. My son started at 4 months and we honestly havent looked back. I was scared to death and sobbing leading up to that day, but the Infant teachers and Directors helped me transition into that much anticipated day. Now approaching our sons first birthday, we are still happy with Kidstop. Our son loves seeing his teacher when we drop him off and he is so happy when we pick him up. Weve found a community of supportive teachers, staff, and parents. At each new milestone theyve helped us transition with tons of support. I feel so fortunate to have my son at this daycare. He is looked after with such care and love...truly.

This is the worst place anyone can work at.If I could give an 0 I would. The Director here is Terrible at her job.The Management Team Lies to parents about thing daily. She threatens her staff with write ups.Her communication is horrible with staff and parents. The children does not have consistency in the class with teachers. I only work here for 8 month and I’ve seen her fired 5 people in that 8 month. Parents please think twice before sending you kids here she has staff still working here who have given food to children with Allergies which cause them to have an allergic multiple occasions who still work here.If you want your children to come back home alive don’t send them here. As a parent myself I would never recommend anyone to this center Ever......
