For Crying out load, please lord fix your hours for the common people. And .....keep them updated. Is it really that much to ask for? Seems like it is.Temporarily closed... I was there a couple weeks ago ringing the bell at thy window, waiting and waiting for someone to finally come help.

For textbooks this place is a nightmare. I tried ordering textbooks in their online store and it was anything but convenient. Inventory is uncertain, and there is poor coordination between the multiple campuses and bookstores. First the price may not be what it says it is and they explain there is an inventory problem (not by saying its a problem though, they just state it as a set of instructions on how the store works, almost implying its normal and acceptable since theyll refund you if you dont like it). Then you can receive order confirmations one day and out of stock notifications the next. The ncc branch bookstore was closed for the semester where I was supposed to pick up some of my books. No one up there knew what to do for me and I had to call Rocklin, where they said they might be able to get them down in Rocklin within the next 2 weeks but werent even certain on if theyd be available TO be brought to Rocklin (all this after I received an order confirmation.) When I wanted a refund I was told that it would be difficult and that my order was already processed and my card had been charged. I had to get transferred to a supervisor, and all in all every step of this process was needlessly frustrating. If this was a normal business and not funded by the school it would fail. If youre going to buy textbooks get them from a reputable online store where your quoted price for your order is accurate, it will be shipped within a predictable time frame, and order confirmations actually mean what they say. It was astoundingly absurd to try to get textbooks from this place, never trying that again. It felt like the people working there knew it was really bad too, and they did good being courteous despite probably having to deal with logistical nightmares like this all day. So far the hardest part of school has been dealing with this bookstore, and if I could Id give a negative 5 star review because my experience with them has been perfectly horrible.
