My grandsons take lessons. The pool and facilities are great. Nice warm water. When they first started, their instructors were consistent. They got to know their skills and what worked best for individual children. They built a relationship. In the last couple months they have had a different instructor every week. This is not beneficial to children. It’s been progressively disappointing with the inconsistency and the loss of good Instructors.

We absolutely love it here. We have both our boys in lessons. The instructors are wonderful. We had our boy (who turned 2 today) in class, and the instructor came over to say Happy Birthday to him. The whole class sang Happy Birthday and there was a mini ball party. The instructors are very personal. We love going to class with our boys.

School is fine, for a 30 minute lesson your child is grouped in with 4 other kids. They get on average about 5 minutes of swim time per lesson.I’m sure if you do the individual there is probably more value there.Also, there’s numerous cancellations without warning. They give you a “credit”. Which isn’t really a credit as I tried to apply it while canceling my membership. Turns out you can’t use it for that. Theres also a 30 day cancellation policy. I understand but just an FYI to anyone signing up. Two weeks seems more reasonable.Facility is clean and staff is nice but not impressed with some of the policies or the instruction. This review is based on 2-3 months worth of lessons

Prior to swim lessons at Goldfish Swim, my daughter (1.5) refused to sit in the bath and my son (5) refused to get his face wet in the bath, pool or beach. 6 weeks in and my daughter shrieks with joy when she sees her bathing suit. Not only does she love bath time but she is so eager for swim lessons and pool time! My son is going under the water without tears and is showing so much more confidence in the water without floaties. Im not sure where we would be now without these swim lessons! We are so thankful for the love of water, confidence and safety skills Goldfish has instilled in our children

My children loved going to Goldfish Swim School. They each got individual attention during their lessons with plenty of time to practice their skills. I noticed a great improvement in both of their swimming capabilities. My son was initially quite nervous to swim but the staff were patient with him and never pushed him too far, but still made sure he got out of his comfort zone. The Pittsford location has great accommodations for parents while they wait and theres spacious changing rooms for families with multiple children.

We love the small class sizes for our two and a half year old. There’s lots of variety in the swim class and our son never gets bored. They’re extremely efficient in cleaning, starting, and ending class on time. It’s been a great, safe place to go during the winter months when we can’t be outside playing as much.

I noticed lately theyre starting a few minutes late and ending a few minutes early for each class. I have left several voicemails and never received a call back. I have waited two days and no call back yet. I have to keep calling to get someone to answer the phone. Its frustrating to say the least.

The growth I have seen in my kids has been amazing! The first class we dropped my 3 year old off she lost her mind, but the staff did an incredible job with her and she absolutely loves swim class every week!

Both of my children attend classes here. They improve each week theyre here. The instructors are great and patient.

This place is fairly ok.ig their trying for 30mins at a time i dont feel like its worth the money but their doing it during covid times, so hands down i have to give them their props.

I love how seriously you are taking COVID precautions. That makes me feel very safe bringing my kid to swimming class. I also love the email updates about my kids progress. Those are super helpful in figuring out where he is. Most of all, I love it that my kid loves the class and has fun with the instructors, who are very patient with my very active son. I will absolutely recommend Goldfish to anyone looking into swimming classes for their kids.

Wonderfully organized, clean facilities and friendly teachers. I really appreciate the feedback reports and incentives for the students. My children have become so comfortable in the water in the few short months we have been involved with Goldfish Swim School.

We have our children (2 and 8 months) enrolled in swim lessons. Our eldest jas been coming for about a year and a half, our youngest started at 4months. They never cease to amaze me with their level of care, understanding, flexibility and PATIENCE.Seriously, Customer service is absolutely incredible! We have had to change our schedule so many times to accommodate our ever fluid qork schedule and they have always been more than happy to help. Eager to help is an understatement... for example, today, before class ever started, our birthday boy (2 today!) Was having a turdler toddler moment screaming and crying. We were debating just leaving and trying again another day, staff went out of their way to bring him a toy, talk with him, play with him and try to help put him at ease. It also helps the parents stress level! It reminds me of how helpful and kind the staff can be at WDW. Aside from the outstanding Customer service we have experienced, our sons are leaving what they are there to learn. Their improvement is so cool to witness. 10/10 recommend

My wife enrolled our 2 year old in the swim class, due to our work schedule and distance to the school, we had to cancel.We were not informed it was recurring, when we were rebilled, we had to go on site and and fill out a form, not an issue, and we would be refunded within 30days. We filled the form out and now they are saying they are going to bill us another 3 months($300)after we filled out the cancelation form, and refuse to refund.For a business dependent om families, this is the the worst thing I have ever delt with. Im sure the instructors are good, but the way they choice to run their business, is a horror story for the working class family just trying to get a baby more time with other children.Will never recommend.

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoy her weekly swim lessons at Goldfish Swim school in Pittsford. Her teacher, Ms. Cindy, goes above and beyond each lesson to engage and encourage my little swimmer. Absolutely fantastic teacher!!!

We have seen so much progress with our girls swimming skills in just a few classes. They really look forward to their lessons each week!

No consistency, no progress, for how expensive it is you would think it would outperform your average rec or ymca class…nope.

I can not recommend this place enough!!! I usually dont posts reviews but this one deserves more than 5 stars. The instructors were incredible. They got my daughter who had extreme anxiety over water, not only swimming but loving to swim. She looked forward to it everyday. The place was neat, orderly, and clean. Highly recommend!!

Heads up but Google has the wrong location of Goldfish in the plaza. It’s closer to Barnes and Noble rather than the Cheesecake Factory.We started swim lessons at Goldfish and very pleased. Friendly staff that seem to be educated and trained in early childhood development to get kids acclimated to water. Clean facility as well. They have a great YouTube video as well to introduce parents to their model.

Cannot recommend Goldfish Swim School in Pittsford enough! Weve been attending classes for 4 months now with my 3 year old. The facility is BRAND NEW and incredibly clean, safe, and well maintained. The instructors are pure gold. All so kind, knowledgable, and fantastic at encouraging the younger kids. Plus I love the use of technology. The signup and online portal makes everything super easy to do: switch classes, schedule makeups, etc.

The folks here are just great! Small class sizes and the kids for lots of instruction time. Our 5 year old and 3 year old absolutely love going here.

We love this swim school! The instructors are great! I love that is very quiet and free from distractions so the kids can really focus and learn. It is very clean, and they are constantly disinfecting all areas. Highly recommended.

The safety measures taken after every class surpass all expectations! My son has Emily for an instructor and he adores her and his time at Goldfish!! Thank you for going the extra mile to ensure the safety of not only the kids but the parents watching.

My daughter started swim lessons at this newly opened swim school and LOVES it. The facility is amazingly clean, atmosphere is fun and engaging for children, and the staff was wonderful. I highly recommend. Water safety is a life skill all children should be given!

I would like to take the time to thank the staff at Goldfish for their cleanliness and organization. Every time I walk in there I feel welcomed and everything is so organized and times that nothing feels chaotic. I want to especially thank Lily for taking my son Cash when he was having a VERY difficult moment. Sometimes as a parent you feel like giving up or bewildered as to how to make a bad situation better. Lily took the time to convince Cash to get in the water. She personally swam with him the whole class and what was a bad situation for both me and Cash she made it better. I didn’t feel judged and I truly felt helped. Cash didn’t even want to get out at the end. Thank you ALL for taking care of our kids and guiding us through the next stage of our lil one’s developmental stages. Thank you for welcoming parents in a time when we as parents don’t know what to do for our kids during COVID. You keep your place clean and go above and beyond. I feel safe and Cash is happy!!!! That’s important to me. Much love to you all.

Today they announced they wanted one parent or guardian to wait outside during the lesson. There is more than enough space and seating for both parents given the size of the class, and although they only made a single announcement and didnt push it, if that persists we will not continue with our classes there.
