If you want to waste your money, learn nothing, and be treated like you’re in grade school, this is the place to go!

I am a fellow student here at PCI Health Training Center for Medical Assistant and all I can say is its an amazing school. The instructors really are amazing and do their best to teach everyone what they need to learn. The best part is going to lab you learn how to do hands on like injections, phlebotomy, vitals etc. Everyone at PCI treats you with respect I can say I have not once been treated differently or felt like I didnt belong there. In fact students are very friendly and help each other out. I know you see bad reviews on here but honestly everyone has a different experience. Its all UP TO YOU on what you make out of it. They have different schedules so it can work with your everyday life and also they have amazing Reps who will show you the school and give you amazing information. Shout out to Mrs. Grace and Mrs. Trevino amazing people!! YOU WONT REGRET IT !

I really like this school but some of the instructors is one makes it a bad experience. Mrs.Story is the worst teacher i ever experienced she has favorite students that she treats differently than the other students and she is very judgmental. Its hard to concentrate and learn when you have a teacher that treats some students with kindness everyday and the others you never know what kind of day you are gonna have with her.

Honestly this school trash. No doubt about it. It is a joke! They take professionally very serious but they are not professional themselves. Once you have a tour they describe the as this amazing school just to get those 15,000 out of you. To start off the medical office teacher is racist and will not tolerate one word of Spanish. Second of all career service is fake. They promise you a great job but they just want their commission. Mrs. Carnes is crazy and fake as well dont even try to defend your argument because there is not point. ! All of these people need to get fired ASAP. Worst regret of my life!!!!!!!! Im begging whoever reads this please look at other schools before coming here.

My experience at PCI has been amazing. When I came here I never expected such a HUGE amount of learning in such a different learning environment than what I have already experienced. I was at a community college before coming to PCI. What I was learning at the community college is NOTHING like what I am learning at PCI. Here I am doing the work for the field I am going in.

I enjoyed my time at PCI, it was such a great experience. The staff is very friendly and genuinely want students to succeed. The instructors care about the students and Mr. Goss does an awesome job at motivating us at every awards assembly. Mrs.Ramirez was my instructor and she is knowledgeable, professional, and expects students to give their best at all times and motivates you to be great. Mr.Bell and Mrs. Rachel in career services work hard to find externship sites for students but theyre not miracle workers. There is only so much they can do to place you. There are expectations that students need to fulfill to be successful. Instructors are not babysitters, and this is not high school. If you lack professionalism, motivation, and desire to do well you WILL NOT make it. If your grades are good and you have 100% attendance, you will have more options for externships. It is that simple. If you really want this career change, have a positive attitude, come ready to learn, to listen, and take advice/recommendations from those who have the experience in the field.

Great school. Theyll give you the knowledge you need to get out on the field and succeed. The classes are small so you get phenomenal one-on-one attention from every instructor. Id recommend PCI to everyone.

I love PCI they helped me so much. I thought I would not be able to succeed at this school because I have dyslexia. The days that I thought i did not want to come back I have my friends and teachers to help me. With out this shook I dont know were I would be, probably sleep. But I am so happy Ms.Payne is my teacher she helped me understand that I want to be better then in life.

I attended back in back around 2010 to hopefully find a better job. The instructors I had were great, but the placement department left a lot to be desired. I am now in a job that my education doesnt even help out in. And paying on a student loan that I am having trouble paying. I regret ever going to this school at all.

I came here about 10 years ago and paid I believe 15k for a medical assistant certification. I completed all the hours/courses and had everything signed off on. However I NEVER GOT MY CERTIFICATION. When I went to meet with advisor to get it I was informed I still need to complete classes?!? Unfortunately I work full time and did not have time to do so especially when It was an error on there end?! I doubt everyone has had an experience like this but I basically lost 15k. I am not in the field at this time anymore but thankfully didn’t need my certification to get jobs for the 8 years I was in the medical field. I am writing this review way too late but I thought about it recently and feel very upset. I almost want to file a lawsuit.

Instructors are unorthodox. Career services oh man, talk about what a joke this is. I have seen better job opportunities alone than to have someone finding me a job based of their commission or good review. Word of advice if you are starting in the medical field in any practice. Find it yourself, and if you go for interviews when your done with your externship.. do not take less than 14.25 there are freaking cashiers and baggers working at wholes goods supermarket making 15 an hour 😂. This place by far was a waste of my family members time and waste of my money I invested to help. I recommend Remington

Im a changed person now that Ive stepped out of my comfort zone to further my education in the medical field. Mrs. Dana Payne and several other instructors and staff Ms. McGee, Mr. Goss, Ms. Ginny, Ms. Castillo, Mr. Bell to name a few; have all helped me in my struggle to complete school. Its been a long, hard journey but the staff are very encouraging and uplifting. Im on my way to becoming a successful certified Medical Assistant. Thank you PCI for your hospitality and willingness to teach your students to become and be greater. Your past doesnt predict your future. Change beings with us and everything else will fall into place. Last day of school August 17, 2017 then my career as a Medical Assistant begin. Thank you PCI and staff.

I attended Pci Richardson starting April 11th in the MOA Program which is 4 months in class, 2 months extern. Mrs. Ramiez was my teacher. My experience was AWESOME! Mrs. Ramirez and staff was helpful and always there to answer any questions or concerns still to this day. I was never late or absent, and maintained a 4.0 gpa which opened my externship opportunities up alot! I am now at my new career loving coming to work everyday, Pci changed my life for the better I will absolutley recommend this college to anyone.😊

So I visited this place back in January and boy I sure am glad Im not going here, where do I begin? For starters this school is a scam, they want your money, if you go here you wont learn anything and you wont be able to find a job. Second this building was ugly, it was gray and square with barely any windows, it honestly looked like those houses people make in Minecraft when theyre still learning the basics or are just straight up noobs, and thats not even the start. it was dark in there too, it was so dark in there I could have busted a nut in the corner and no one would have noticed, I mean you ripping all these people off, the least you could do is pay for better lighting, cuz I know the money isnt going towards the equipment, I saw their equipment and it looked old and outdated, I guarantee you that equipment is old enough to be considered an antique. So you graduate from this place well now you gotta find work in Victorian London because this places equipment is so old no medical institution in the last eighty years has used it. Honestly save your money because you could become a more qualified nurse by reading WebMD.

I passed the course and everything but personally dont like the school. They wont teach you what they say they will in the PCT course, you sit around and B.S. in class more then learn. Instructors arnt passionate. Just personal. The negative reviews on this place are true. Out of all honesty. Go down the street and get your CNA for 500 instead of 10k... 5k with a pale grant. They DO NOT train you to actually take your PCT exams only your CNA. You can pass the program easy, but cant go anywhere until you take you exams. Which they dont prep you for. Im strictly speaking of the PCT program, not dental or medical assistant program, I cant speak on those.

I went to PCI back in 2011 and absolutely hated it! I had to pay them $130 monthly for them to teach me virtually nothing! The instructor I had was very rude and had no interest in helping her students. The career advisers are a joke and they dont help with anything. I found my own internship site and when I contacted them for help they will talk to you for like 2 days and then never contact you again. I have sent them about 7 updated resume and they still only send out my original! I contacted Mrs. Roy regarding this and that doesnt help anything either. This school is scam and I would NEVER recommend it to anyone.

My daughter Megan currently attends PCI Health Training Center in Richardson as a Senior, and I must say that it is the best college she has attended. The class sizes are small and the amount of one on one attention you get from the instructors is phenominal. The over all relationship between students and staff is very family oriented. Classes are fast paced and ull of good infromation. From day one you are immersed into hands on labs that allow you to gain real life experience of procedures that you would be preforming in the medical field that you have chosen.
