I trained here from 2009 to 2011. Instructions included staff work, bicep takedowns, wristlocks, arm bars, throws, takedowns, ASP Batons, Taser use, weapons defenses and more. The classes also discussed legal and moral implications of the use of force, which is not taught at most martial arts schools. Contextual or situational training was also important. Safety was heavily emphasized, there was no hint ofMachismo, and the head instructor always encouraged his students to continue with their training. I trained with the current Sensei at that time and would highly recommend him as a Jujitsu instructor.
