Our child transferred over to ACE last year when COVID started. In the short span of time that he started at ACE, his spelling, reading and writing improved exponentially. What we loved most about ACE is that they integrate important soft skills such as project management, time management into their curriculum. Students have dedicated study hall times to work on their homework and seek out their teachers for help. We feel that this arrangement is an excellent introduction to the styles of higher education and fosters ownership/responsibility in the students.ACE also does a very good job in communicating about our childs progress. In addition to quarterly progress reports, we receive weekly test results to track his progress. This allows for quick intervention on subject areas that need help. We are always impressed by how methodical and detail-oriented that ACE administrative team is. Any key school event like orientation etc. is extremely well-prepared and communicated. We really like our sons teachers. They are warm, caring and encouraging but strict at the same time. All in all, we are very pleased that we found ACE!

Sending my son to ACE has been one of the best decisions I have ever made as a mother. I enrolled my son in the Junior Kindergarten program in the Fall of 2020 during the pandemic, and have seen my son flourish academically, socially, and spiritually.I completely trust in the school’s leadership, educators, and staff to ensure that my son is learning and thriving academically, socially, and spiritually in a safe manner.I am amazed that my son is already reading, writing cursive, reciting scripture, doing math, and reading music! The extracurricular activities are great too, and my son has enjoyed learning the violin and piano. My oldest daughter has been at ACE for 6 years and my youngest for 3 years. The thing that makes ACE such a special place is the love and care the teachers and staff have for each individual child. The teacher to student ratio is amazing and the teachers and staff know every child by name. Students are greeted with a smile as they walk in every day and teachers take a genuine interest in all their students. While the accelerated curriculum is challenging, teachers really care about helping students master the concepts they are learning which helps them rise to the occasion. Throughout all our years at ACE we have always known that we were sending our children to a place where they would not only learn but be well cared for.

ACE has been amazing for my daughter who started the 2020-2021 school year at age 4. When we enrolled her, I was not even focused on curriculum but on COVID safety protocols. I toured different private schools and then ACE was referred by a friend. ACE had the best safety protocols in place and they had very spacious classrooms where kids could sit apart. The curriculum at ACE was much more rigorous then her previous school. Today I am amazed that shes now reading and learning basic arithmetic. They also provide STEAM classes and offer options like piano/violin lessons after school. On days with nice weather, they also spend time outside on the playground. The best part is she always tells me how much she loves her teacher and she goes to school excited to see friends. The ACE staff is exceptional and the results they achieve shows it.

We couldnt have been more blessed to have found this gem of a school! Even during the pandemic, our kids are thriving both academically and socially. The teachers are all very compassionate and determined to provide our students with the very best education. The class size is perfect and not overwhelming. A+ for Ace!

We were looking for options for our 1st grader who was really struggling with virtual learning. We took many tours of private/catholic schools and ACE stood out. The school has so much to offer and my son is thriving! The small class rooms and the teachers helping to grow him as a student and a person has been awesome. They teach spelling and cursive and Spanish (which public schools do not.) We plan to stay at ACE for the long run. I would highly recommend you check them out!

We have had a wonderful experience at ACE this year for our 2nd and 6th grader. They have thrived in the small class environment, gained tremendously in their homework and study skills and have been enjoying all the great specials offered like STEAM and technology.

We were happy with our daughter’s kindergarten experience in public school. Suspecting the district would be forced to be mostly online for 2020-21, we chose ACE because it took safely staying open seriously. I cannot think of a recent decision that has worked out so well. The education has far exceeded expectations.In the first half of the year, her first grade class has 1) read 3 chapter books 2) started multiplication 3) had weekly spelling tests of 10 2-4 syllable words I would have thought impossible for a 1st grader 4) learned cursive 5) learned about the early history of the US 6) learned good academic skills by manageable homework (~15 min or less), tests and quizzes.Equally important to us, she comes home excited about a lot of the experiences – launching bottle rockets, getting a recorder in music class, art projects, learning to type, playground excitement – that are so critical to a good school experience.The caring ACE staff have given our daughter an outstanding academic foundation. We heartily recommend the school to any parent who has that focus for their child.

When I moved to Northern Virginia and heard about the reputation of the public schools I thought I would never consider private school. This changed when I visited ACE. My children have attended ACE for two years. We initially were drawn in by the faith based ABEKA learning program. It is a well established program that my extended family used thirty years ago. ABEKA was the educational foundation that led to their successes in engineering, medicine, and the military. After we enrolled in ACE I found so many additional reasons to love their program.My children are safe in their building. They have taken all the necessary precautions to prevent the spread of COVID this year. The building is designed to ensure physical safety as well. No one enters without buzzing in the front door and checking in with the front desk.ACE trains children to love learning. My oldest child struggled with reading and spelling in public school before enrolling at ACE. Homework used to be a battle. Once she began attending ACE her attitude toward learning significantly changed. She began initiating homework without reminders. She began to love learning. ACE completely transformed her experience with education. It has taught her to be more independent in her studies.This was largely due to the amazing teachers and administration. Upon entering the school teachers warmly greet each child with enthusiasm and kindness. Their joy is contagious. The teachers provide loving and patient encouragement to the students and parents. They care about what is happening behind the scenes in their students family. They constantly offer help and extra support.When I pick up my children from school they are joyful and excited to share what they have learned during the day. This is a stark contrast to what we experienced in public school. At the end of the day my children are happy and learning more than they did in other learning programs. We are so grateful for ACEs dedication to provide an excellent advanced academic program in a loving environment.

My family and I are so grateful we found ACE! Not only are my two boys thriving academically at an advanced level but theyve also grown tremendously in confidence and character. It’s very difficult to narrow down positive things to say about ACE—it’s a long list! The curriculum is strong: reading/comprehension, math, social studies, science, etc. are all above grade level. Teachers set high expectations and then help each child achieve those goals in a warm and nurturing environment. Each day students’ folders are filled with the work that they have completed so that parents can be informed of their child’s progress. Any obstacles are handled at early stages and the child is treated with the utmost respect every step of the way. The emphasis on STEAM is helping to prepare students for a successful future. Every member of the staff knows each kid--not only their names, but their individual personalities. The Academy of Christian Education (ACE) is a superior schooling option for your child. I enrolled my son in preschool at ACE a few years ago after having a bad experience at a neighborhood preschool program, and I am so glad that I did. The teachers and staff at ACE are the best that Ive seen. I love their teaching philosophy and methods. Everyday, I see evidence of how much they love teaching children. They make a point of knowing each childs name, and the front staff (especially Mrs. Butler) greets them every morning when they walk in. They also seem to recognize all the parents as well. My son is now in senior Kindergarten, and he is reading, writing in cursive, able to add, subtract, and able to read time. And lastly, the tuition is a lot more affordable than other private schools of the same caliber. If you are looking for a school that will mentally stimulate your child and teaches children to be respectful and compassionate, you need to put ACE on the top of your list.

My daughter is in her third year with the Academy of Christian Education. I honestly couldnt be happier with a school. Their educational structure, professional and amazingly caring staff along with their views and beliefs on having the children learn integrity and respect, it has helped my daughter to grow into a well rounded child in every aspect. Shes been receiving an accelerated education but they teach in a way where she loves doing homework and is happy to go there every school day. My both son’s go to ACE. My Elder one is attending ACE from past 6 years and younger one is from 3 years. We are very happy with Teachers and School. Both of our kids love ACE and we are very proud of them. We have seen lot of progress academically and they are ahead in curriculum and academically challenging. We like the commitment that each teacher shows to our kids especially the third grade teacher Mrs. Spainhour and my younger one love’s Mrs. Francis. PreK through 3rd grade are the foundational/formative years for children. There isnt a better place to provide the solid academic foundation along with the character and discipline needed to help our children succeed in life. You cannot go wrong with ACE! Everyone including the active parents are passionate about the success of each child and family. I highly recommend ACE for any child. If your child is shy or outgoing, ACE will meet your child where they are and bring out their highest potential. Each child is equally as important as the next. You dont have parent cliques or favoritism issues at this school. The uniforms are important to the sense of community and equality from the identical backpacks (included in the tuition) to the work folders and all school supplies (included in the tuition). The focus is on learning and not the other distractions. The teachers have a long tenure at the school, so you can tell that they are not only passionate about teaching, but they are supported by the principal and owners to teach! The communication with parents is excellent as well. If your child has a deficiency, the teacher will discuss the issue with you and then work with your family to get extra support if needed in an academic area. In my opinion, that level of attention to detail is exceptional. ACE is more than a school, it is a family! The phonics based PreK and K curriculum is the best for learning to read and spell. The accelerated program makes sure the children continue to build upon their knowledge every day. Our daughter loves going to ACE everyday, and she is thriving academically. And this is probably the only school in the area that brings in a merry go round, roller coaster, and dunk tank to celebrate the end of the school year. Work hard, play hard!

ACE is a great school hidden in the lovely Reston area. My daughter started Jr. K last September and she not only learned a lot but enjoy the whole school overall since then. The teachers are very nurturing and loving, with the detailed attention to individual child, which is very important for those young age schoolers. The kids also learn the core value of life, honesty, respectful, disciplines, kind and hard-working! There are also various activities for kids to experience different holiday, cultures and histories! We truly appreciate the efforts of teaching and caring that the school and teachers brought to our daughter!

5 star teachers. 5 star education. If youre reading this review, then you have been fortunate enough to hear about ACE or just lucky to stumble upon this hidden gem in Reston. Either way, dont walk but run to ACE and take a look at the wonderful facility and environment the staff works so hard to provide. We toured dozens of schools in the area (including the DC private schools- yes we did the psychology tests for 3 year olds and McLean private preschools) and we unanimously chose ACE by a landslide. We even tried the Montessori education for one year. For us that experience was a huge mistake. We learned from it and moved on to ACE. We could not be happier with our decision. As first time parents, the pressure to choose the right school for our child and family was a big deal. But from the moment we stepped foot into ACE, we were greeted with such a genuine warmness our decision was almost instant. Sure we toured a fancy, high tech facility, but we felt more like a number or a tuition payment versus nervous first time parents. The staff at ACE made us feel so welcomed that we never left. The classrooms all have smart boards and the students have computer class and technology instruction. ACE is so much more than academics though. The teachers emphasize good manners and citizenship. Children learn how to be good friends to one another. The children truly learn how to grow together. Our child matured so much right before our eyes. We know one of the biggest influences in her life is ACE. The values of respect and love are the same values we model at home. Sure our daughter was learning blends and the 5 vowels and knew how to write her name neatly by the end of the 3 year old program. But more importantly, she learned the value of saying God bless you when someone sneezes and the value of helping her friends, the value of sharing. You cannot put a price on these priceless lessons, but the value of this school is a steal compared to the return on your investment. Wed chose ACE again and again and hope that you do too!
