I have been training for over 17 years now because of the depth of training available and the care of the instructors. My review here is my experience as a student. This is a true martial arts school, not a sport or an exercise facility where you kick and punch aimlessly. You can learn effective self defense, how to build good habits for focus and concentration, and also get into great shape.

Oom Yung Doe training is the best I have found. Im interested more in personal development than just fighting, and Oom Yung Doe consistently provides that. Of course there is strong self-defense also, but the overall improvements in my mind, body, and spirit have been incredible. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for more than just a workout.

I decided not to continue for 3 reasons. hidden costs, instruction was very inconsistant & class always ended late.the concept of 8-in-1 martial arts is well intended but my recommendation is to pass and look elsewhere.

Not only have I learned powerful/effective self-defense methods, engaging Kung fu and weapon forms, but I also expanded in to internal martial arts which I had never considered practicing before.Also, all the challenges that come with training have helped me grow as a person much faster than I would have otherwise.I highly recommend Oom Yung Doe Martial Arts.
